| 30 | (c) Governer :- The Governer shall be of electronic type suitable for monitoring constant engine speed within the specified limits for parallel and auto load sharing operation shall comply with ISO 3046-IV governing class G2 /better.(d) Exhaust :- The exhaust piping system shall be supplied with a hosptial grade silencer and catalytic converter suitably optimised to meet stingent noise emission standards laid down by CPCB-IV+ emission compliant with built in catalytic coverter(DOC/DPF/SCR as per OEM design). The exhaust piping and the silencer shall be wrapped with rock wool and/or calcium silicate. The outside shall be neatly wrapped with aluminium cladding. The exhaust line shall be extended beyond the height of utility building roof as required by pollution control norms . Suitable supporting structure for installation shall be provided. Emission certificate from CPCB approved agency to be submitted at commissioning stage.(e) Hot air exhaust (Radiator cooling ):- As per OEM recommondation if sufficient exhaust for radiator is not available the contractor has to provide GI duct for hot air exhaust from DG set up to designed place of duct oulet. The duct shall be made of 14 gauge thick GI sheet including necessary civil work.Tropicalized radiator suitable for ambient up to 50˚ C, at altitude 100m;derating factor to be declared by OEM. |
| 31 | (f) Fuel Tank :- Inbuilt/ internal bottom mounted (within-in base frame) Diesel tank of suitable capacity with mounting brackets complete with fuel inlet,air vent drain plug, level indicator, internal connection pipes from tank to diesel generator as required, Suitable barrier shall be provided between Diesel tank and engine. The fuel tank shall be fabricated as per tropical conditons at 3048m above MSL with approx capacity or designed capacity shall be suitable for 8 hours full load condition or 14 hours of capacity of 75% load. In case the in built base frame tank is not capable to hold POL for 8 hours continuous opearation, contractor shall provide additional tank made of MS sheet capacity seperately as per manufacturer recommondations confirming to PESO norms & safety rules; return fuel line with seperator.(g) Starting system :- The engine starting shall be by means of totally enclosed axial type electric starter suitable for 12/24V volts DC starting comprising of starter motor, voltage regulator and arrangement for initial excitation complete with suitable number of batteries as per OEM specifications, sealed maintenance free batteries lead acid type confirming to IS 15549 (SMF/Lead acid) suitable for High altitude 3048m from MSL. The batteries shall be supplied with a suitable floor mounted MS stand treated with seven treatemnt, two coats of red oxide primer and acid resistant paint with wooden base, adaptor box etc with copper conductors battery leads of required length and socket / clamps. |
| 32 | (h) Alternator :-(i) 100KVA 3 phase 0.8PF, 415V, 4 wire 1500 RPM self excited and self regulated through electronic AVR confirming to IS:4722/BS: 2613 suitable for 3048m above MSL with brushless exciter housed in screen protected drip proof enclosure. The alternator shall be confirming to IS: 13364 Part-II & IS 15999 part-I /IEC 60034 Part-I and CPCB-IV+ requires low THD (<3%) capable of delivering rated output at rated power factor 0.8 with a terminal volatage differing from the rated value by not more than +/- 5%. (ii) Frequency differing from the rated value by not more than +/- 0.5%. (iii) short circuit capacity of 300% for 10sec. (iv) Over load capacity of 110% for one hour. The insulation class for the alternator shall be H class. The temperature rise shall be limited to class B and ingresses enclosure protection shall be IP23 or better. The output terminals of each alternator shall be connected to an MCCB of suitble capacity microprocessor based, adjustible type through a cable system. The control panel shall be housed inside the acquostic enclosure.(j) Alternator protection :- Alternatorprotections to comply with IEC 60255 standards and should have following protections- (i) Over and under voltage (ii) under and over frequency waring and trip (iii) Loss of excitation (iv) Over current and Earth fault and short circuit protection (v) Unbalanced loads (vi) Restricted Earth fault protection (vii) Differencial protection (vii) Diode Failure. |
| 33 | (k) Voltage regulator :- A rapid response digital automatic voltage regulator (AVR) with microprocessor based control compatible with CPCB-IV+ ECU for emission linked load management andshall be provided to regulate the generated volatage. The overall regulations from no load to full load including cold and hot variation and load power factor of 0.8 lag to unity shall be within 1% of the normal voltage. The excitaition system shall be designed to promote rapid voltage recovery following sudden application and disconnection of load.(l) Acoustic enclosure :- The acoustic enclosure should be supplied along with DG set from the manufacturer outlet itself as per latest CPCB norms. Acuoustic enclosure shal be powder coated and fabricated out CRCA MS sheet. The canopy shall have hinged doors one door with glass window to view proper parameters on control panel .The canopy and doors shall have inside lining of fire retardant foam/ glasswool as acoustic materials. The base frame shall be fabricated in ISMC channel or in sheet metal with lifitng hooks for convenient lifting to complete set i.e. along with canopy engine and alternator. The sound level shall have less than 75dB(A) at a distance of 1 meter, but must be certified for CPCB-IV+ compliance by OEM. High quality noise absorbant and fire retardent grade acquastic insulation material (P.U.foam) complying IS: 8183. The allowable temperature rise inside canopy is 5 to 7 ˚ C. The measurement of noise should be as per ISO 3744/ ISO 8528(Part-10) standards. The canopy has the provision of emergency push button external to canopy.Note:- The acquostic enclosure shall be made by the OEM of original engine manufacturer. |

(viii) DG set should be soundproof as par CPCB-IV+ norms (ix) The DG set shall be suitable for operation at 3048 above MSL and exterme cliamatic condition (-30˚ C) during winter. |
| 35 | Supply, installation, testing and comissioning of factory made, CPRI approved LT panel suitable for 415V, 3 phase , 4 wire, 50Hz AC system, floor mounted, indoor type,designed for operation at altitude upto 3048m above MSL and for low temperature winter conditions (ambient upto -10˚ C), including necessary anti condensation heaters with thermostat.
