| 7 | Material and labour for preparation of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud, grass roots etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags or compressed air to remove all loose, dirt, etc.and applying a prime / tack coat of Catonic bitumen emulsion RS1 conforming to IS 8887 at a rate of application of 0.20-0.30 kg/Sqm on new or old top surfaces as specified in table 500-3 of MoRTH specification for Road and bridge work 2013 using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed. |
| 8 | Material and labour for providing premixed bituminous macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 10 tone capacity power roller (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen (VG 30 Grade) @ 4% by weight of total mix complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) The exact bitumen content required shall be determined Mix Design procedure and approved by GE. The adjustment in rate on MINUS side variation in quantity of bitumen if any shall be priced at the rate of ₹67 per kg. No claim whatsoever shall be made for adjustment in plus side. (ii) Bituminous macadam shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper. |
| 9 | M & L for bituminous premixed carpet, 40 mm consolidated thickness with 0.54 cum of stone chippings mixed with 29.2 kg of binder (using paving bitumen VG30 grade), rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne power roller, complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 10 | Material and labour for premixed sand seal coat with 0.06 cum of sand mixed with 6.8 kg of paving bitumen, applied and rolled to a uniform surface complete all as specified and directed. |
| 11 | Material and labour for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines stop line dashe arrow etc and the likenot exceeding 10cm wide on road pavement with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint with reflectorizing glass beads on bituminious surface @ 300gms/ sqm area as per IRC: 35- 1997 of approved colour conforming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed. |
