Tender For Special Repair For Retaining Wall In Front Of Cook House At Records Garh Rif Lansdowne.; 1 Demolition of brick work or stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins,arches, pillars,etc. but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed. 2 Demolition of PCC in ground floorand pavings not exc 15 cm thickness below or above ground levelincluding removal of rubbish out side MOD land complete all as specified and directed. 3 Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for complete all as specified and directed. 4 S&F rolled mild steel section for Joist, channel, angle, or tee sections, fixed independently, without connecting plates, etc. (cut to ordinary lengths i.e. within 20mm of the length indicated conforming to Fe-410-W (Gde-E-250) quality-A complete all as specified and as directed.Note : The rates quoted allow for cutting to dead length where required, notching, drilling, fitting, riveting and/or welding or connecting with bolts and nuts (including rivets or bolts and nuts), providing and fitting angle cleats, fish plates, gusset plates etc., also for wedging, plumbing, truing up and fixing complete. 5 M&L for twocoats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer including preparation of new steel surface over 10cm width or grith complete all as specified and directed. 6 S&Fgalvanised, 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24 mm dia barbed with 2 mm dia barbs at 75 mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts , including,securing or tying at crossings with and Provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins etc. as directed (each line wire to be measured) complete all as specified and directed. 7 M&L for PCC (1:4:8 Type D2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggre-gate) as in foundations, filling and mass-concrete complete all as specified and directed. 8 M&L for walling of random rubble, uncoursed well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted, stone masonary work built in CM (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Only quantity of PCC bond stone to be deducted from quantity of random rubble masonary. 9 Description same all as item No. 8 above but except stone complete all as specified and directed.Note :- Old retreived serviceable stone under demolition item shall be used. 10 Extra over stone walling for hammer dressing with maximum depression on face from straight edge held against the dressed surfacae not exceeding 40mm to face stone for Lime or sand stone and dressing of face beds and joints, as specified of random rubble walling, uncoursed or brought upto course complet all as specified and directed. 11 M&L for raised pointing in cement mortar (1:4) to random rubble masonary uncoursed or brought upto course complete all as specified and directed. 12 S&F 75 mm bore PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed in any length (6Kg/Sqcm pressure rating) and fixed in retainnig wall as spout (for weep holes) complete all as specified and as directed. 13 M&L for PCC (1:2:4) type B-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregates, as in kerb/ benching/ coping, bed plates, for fixing of hold fast,water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating including necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed. 14 M&L for Precast PCC (1:3:6) type C-1, using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in bond stones in lieu of stone bond stones, set in cement mortar (1:6), complete all as specified and directed. 15 M&L for modular brick work with FLYASH bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in CM (1:6) complete all as specified and directed. 16 M&L for 15 mm thick plastering on fair faces of brickwork or concrete surface in CM (1:6) surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. 17 M&L for hard core of broken boulders/stone of gauge n exc. 63 mm,for loose fillingcomplete all as specified and directed. 18 M&L for wire netting of stainless steel, size1.4 mm dia and 20 mm mesh sizefixed with tinned tacks of wire stapleover wall and RCC junction complete all as specified and directed. 19 M&L for preparing newly plastered surfaces of wall and applying two coats ofcement base paint over a coat of cement primer complete all as specified and directed. Note :-The newly plastered surface must be prepared in a manner so that there should not be any impression of dent and it should be made even and smooth all as per satifaction of Engr-in-Charge. The cost of all materials, T&P and labour required for preparation of surface are deemed to be included in the rates quoted.
