| 2 | ARCHITECTURAL, STRUCTURAL AND ESTIMATION CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR THE WORK FOR PROVISION OF DOUBLE ENTRY BLAST PEN AND ALLIED WORKS AT AF STN HASIMARA FOLLWING DETAILS:-(i) RCC framed structure for the building Construction of 01 Nos Double Entry Blast Pens of size 30mx24m @8.45m (height) on both side including traverse toe wall and Associated Taxi Links as per arch drgs along with steel motorized door.(ii) Design of RCC Structure to support the steel gate girder crew to accommodate the gate as HAS opening shall be included in quoted rate.(iii) The steel gate shall be motorized and the design of motorized steel gate shall be included in quoted rates.(iv) Design calculated duly vetted by IIT/NIT/GOVT ENGG COLLEGE(v) Crew rest room-02 Nos(a) ARCHITECTURAL CONSULTANCY:-(i) Preparation and submission of self-sufficient architectural design and drawings in Auto-CAD for the mentioned building as per sound architectural practice and as per area and other details mentioned in Adm Approval as directed by HQ CWE (AF) Bagdogra.(ii) Supply one set of original tracing hard copy on Gateway brand tracing paper (90/100GSM) along soft copy of Drawing (in lower version of AUTO-CAD on CD (02 Nos) and free of cost clarification if, required during execution till completion of the project and all details as per tender documents.(iii) Arch drawing to be prepared as per NBC & CFEES approval.(b) STRUCTURAL CONSULTANCY :-Preparation and supply of structural design by using software like STAAD/STRAP with chart for entire structural component Viz wall, Column, beams, slabs, staircase, tank etc along with structural drgs and complete design folder containing structural analysis and design calculation duly vetted by any IIT/NIT/ GOVT ENGG COLLEGE and all details as per tender documents.(c) ESTIMATE CONSULTANCY:-Preparation of estimate of building based on SSR-2024 and market rate including YARD STICK and submission in duplicate building wise as directed by HQ CWE (AF) Bagdogra and all details as per tender documents.For Blast pen - 825 Sqm & for Crew Rest room (02 Nos) - 178.15 Sqm x 02 NosTotal area 1359.45 Sqm |
| 3 | STRUCTURAL DESIGN SCOPE AND REQUIREMENTS(a) Preparation and supply of structural design by using design software like STAAD Pro, RCDC, STAAD Foundation Advanced / SAFE etc. with load chart for entire structural components, viz., walls, columns, beams, slabs, staircases, tanks etc., along with structural drawings and complete design folder containing structural analysis and design calculations.(b) For design purpose, expected life of structures shall be considered as minimum 100 years. The design shall be sound, economical and as per best engineering practices suitable for the region. Design shall be in compliance with provisions of all relevant IS Codes and statutory rules of Govt. of India and concerned State Government. For PEB structures, DBR shall be pre-approved.(c) Design and detailing shall be as per requirements applicable to Seismic Zone-IV seismic forces as per IS 1893 (Part 1), wind forces as per IS 875 (Part 3), dead loads as per IS 875 (Part 1) and live loads as per IS 875 (Part 2).(d) Structural design of foundation shall be based on detailed soil investigation report to be supplied to the consultant. The structural designer should analyse the soil investigation report completely and not merely depend on the recommendation part.(e) Structural design of RCC structure shall be carried out as per IS 456, IS 1893 and IS 13920 and detailing shall be as per IS 456, SP 34 and IS 13920. For water retaining structures, all latest relevant codes need to be considered along with IS 3370: Part 1, Part 2 and Part 4.(f) For detailing and design, ‘Moderate’ environmental exposure condition and 3.0 hour fire rating shall be considered.(g) Minimum grade of concrete shall be M-30 and minimum grade of steel reinforcement shall be Fe550D.(h) Structural drawings shall consist of the following: (i) General structural notes. (ii) Typical structural details relevant to the particular structure. (iii) Foundation plan. (iv) Framing plan at various beam levels. (v) Schedule of columns, lintels, beams, slabs or alternatively detailed drawings of all columns, beams, lintels and slabs. (vi) Details of RC bracket for crane, crane girder, RC cable duct and other miscellaneous details shown in architectural drawings. (vii) SBC along with foundation depth. |
| 4 | Additional Checks(i) Compatibility with architectural drawings.(ii) No overlapping of foundation, footings or beams.(iii) Consistency of framing plans, sections and schedules of structural components.(iv) Completeness of details is essential as these drawings are meant for lump-sum type tendering.(v) No vague reference to codal provisions shall be allowed.(vi) Development length indicated in the drawings shall be specific, i.e., whether in compression or tension.(vii) The drawings shall be as per standard notations and practices and shall enable a diploma-qualified civil engineer to produce complete bar bending schedule, shuttering schedule etc.(k) Structural drawings shall be duly vetted from IIT / ISC (duly signed by authorised signatory on behalf of the institute) and not from a professor / individual of the institute in his personal capacity. The third-party vetting of the designs and drawings or DPR produced shall be in compliance as per laid down standards, regulations and sound engineering practices.(l) A certificate that all details have been thoroughly checked and are in compliance with standards, codes, regulations in respect of safety, soundness and economy shall be obtained from the vetting agencies.(m) The vetting agency will also be liable and answerable for any design deficiencies detected during the design life of the building and may be called upon to address such issues if any.(n) Design Efficiency Certificate shall be provided by the vetting agency.(o) The overall responsibility of the structural drawings, structural design and DBR rests with the consultant. Any mid-term review of design requirement during currency of works due to site requirement shall also be provided by the consultant.(p) The consultant shall be responsible for soundness of design and drawings, adherence to NBC norms, statutory orders and regulations, IS Codes etc. In case of any defect or damage detected in the designed infrastructure during its design life and the same is attributed to faulty drawing or design, the consultant shall be responsible for the same. |
| 5 | (q) Structural consultant may be required to render any clarification sought by the department on structural design or drawings submitted by them at any stage till completion of the construction work. In case any changes or corrections on their submitted structural drawings / design are required after approval, they are liable to incorporate the same without any extra cost to the department. In case of major changes, the consultant shall also be bound to carry out re-vetting of the structural design / drawings.(r) Payment to the consultant will be made in two phases: (i) 80% payment after approval of structural design / drawings. (ii) Remaining 20% payment after completion of the project. |
