Special Repair/Replacement To Borewell And Allied Works At Af Stn Halwara Under Ge (Af) Halwara; 1 Material & Labour for drilling trial bore by reverse rotary methodin any type of strata consisting of 250mm dia drill bit for depth upto 200 mtr in sequencefrom ground level as given below for borewells complete as per IS -2800 (Part -1):1991(Reaffirmed 2001) including removal ofsurplus soil at a distance of 100 mtrs complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge. The following test shall be carried out by the contractor and report submitted to GE for approval:- (i) Recording the water bearing horizon.(ii) Taking the samples from the bore well cutting for every 3mtr interval and every change in strata if less than 3 mtr.(iii)Preparation of litho logs based on these samples.(iv)Drill time log to be prepared and prescribed Note: - The depth of trial boring of the tube well at the site indicated by the GE is anticipated to be 200 mtr below ground level. The depth may, however, be ordered in writing to be varied by the GE up to a maximum of 25 % of the above mentioned depth. If the GE decided that suitable water bearing strata is not available in the aforesaid bore or the boring cannot be continued further on account of the type of strata met with, he may order the contractor to bore at other site(s) selected by the GE, until suitable water bearing strata is met with or boring cannot continue further on account of the type of strata met with provided the total number of bores (including the first bore) does not exceed two Numbers, the decision of the GE shall be final & binding. The bore well work shall be start only after successful result of trail bore and approved by GE. The Boring is to becarried out through agency registered with Central Ground water Authority. 2 Material & Labour for development of trial bore to be drilled by using suitable size of bit to accomodate 300/200mm dia assembly pipes leaving 5 annular space around assembly pipes from 250mm to 675mm upto 150 mtr from ground level, complete all as specified & directed by Engineer in Charge. The rate quoted by the bidder is deemed to be inclusive of the following:-(i) A cement Seal between 3 Mtr and 5 Mtrs below Ground level isto be provided to avoid Surface contamination to the ground Water.(ii) Local Clay should befilled between 5 and 25 mtrs and also between Ground level and 3 Mtr(iii) Gravel of appropriate size isto beshrouded in the annular space around the wellassembly beyond 25 Mtrs.The cost of Gravel shall be measured and paid separately. 3 Material & Labour for development of trial bore to be drilled by using suitable size of bit to accomodate 300/200 mm dia bore assembly pipes leaving 5 annular space around assembly pipes from 250mm to 525 mm from exceeding depth of150 mtr below ground level, complete all as specified & directed by Engineer in Charge. The rate quoted by bidder is demed to be inclusive of the following:- (i) Gravel of appropriate size isto beshrouded in the annular space around the wellassembly beyond 150 Mtrs.The cost of Gravel shall be measured and paid separately. 4 Supplying and assembling including jointing, lowering & fixing in position plain mild steel sheet casing (ERW) pipe 300mm dia, Heavy duty confirming to IS: 4270-2001, pipe jointed and welded with coupler, Welding shall be done through out the circumference of the pipe and coupler rings both sides complete all as specified & directed by Engineer in charge. 5 Supplying and assembling including jointing, lowering & fixing in position plain mild steel sheet casing (ERW) pipe 200 mm dia Heavy duty confirming to IS: 4270-2001, pipe jointed and welded with coupler, Welding shall be done through out the circumference of the pipe and coupler rings both sides complete all as specified & directed by Engineer in charge. 6 Supplying and assembling including jointing, lowering & fixing in position stainless steel v wire screen with 1mm slot, pipe 300 mm dia confirming to IS: 8110-2000 (Reaffirmed 2006), pipe jointed and welded with coupler, clamp as per manufacturers instructions, Welding shall be done through out the circumference of the pipe and coupler rings both sides complete all as specified & directed by Engineer in charge. 7 Supplying and assembling including jointing, lowering & fixing in position stainless steel v wire screen with 1mm slot, pipe 200 mm dia confirming to IS: 8110-2000(Reaffirmed 2006), pipe jointed and welded with coupler, clamp as per manufacturers instructions, Welding shall be done through out the circumference of the pipe and coupler rings both sides complete all as specified & directed by Engineer in charge. 8 Supply & Fix mild steel reducing socket 300mm x 200mm including welding MS strip 40mm X 6mm (6 Nos) on each joint extended 100mm on each side complete all as specified & directed by Engineer in Charge.(Note :- The Wall thickness of the socket side shall not be less than 7.04mm) 9 Material and Labour for Testing of water for potability by chemical analysis such as PH value , Disssolved solids , hardness as CaCO3 , Calcium , magnesium , chlorides , Sulphates, nitrate, Alkalinity , iron turbidityNTU, Mineral oil, Colour Hazen Units, taste Odour, residual free Chlorine, total caliform per 100 Ml( Microbiological test) & E.Coli per 100 Ml (microbiological test) as well as bacterriological portability from any Govt approved Laborotary and the report shall be submitted to Engineer in Charge. 10 Supply & packing of peagravel 2mm to 4.75 mm size as per IS 4097:1967 (Reaffirmed 2008) of natural shape brought directly from river bed and packingaround the casing pipe/slotted pipe in the bore well to entire depthupto ground level complete all as specified & directed by Engineer in Charge. 11 Material & Labour for Electric logging in pilot bore for precise delineation of granular zones as also the quality of ground water including report interpretation complete all as specified & directed by Engineer in Charge.Note:- Electric logging shall be carried out by any approved Govt Agency as directed by GE and four copies of the same shall be submitted. 12 Material & Labour for development of tubewell by means of pumping with high velocity 600 PSI Air compressor as per IS-11189:1985(Reaffirmed 1999)complete all as specified & directed by Engineer in Charge. 13 All as per BOQ item No. 12.00 here-in-above but by means of over pumping for subsequent hours until clear discharge obtained as per IS-2800 (part -1):1991(Reaffirmed 2001) complete all as specified & directed by Engineer in Charge. Note:- Overpumping will be carried out by pumping the well at higher capacity not less 25% extra above the yield of well in presence of Engineer in Charge. 14 Yield testing of the tube well to determine the safe pumping capacity of tube well by continuously pumping for 8 hours complete all as specified & directed by Engineer in Charge. Note:- Cost of pumping for yield test is deemed to be included in item No. 12 & 13 here-in-above. 15 Supply, lowering & installation ofsubmersible pumping set, with SS Bowl and connected to 125 mm dia column pipe by means of SS flange and connecting SS Nipple having diffuser casing construction and impellers dynamically balanced rotor and pump shaft with impellerand motorsuitable for operation on 3 phase 415 volts, complete set , head120 mtr, discharge range 1500 LPM at 75 mtr head including cable guardand Steel wire rope 10 sqmm connectedto pumping set secured above ground level complete suitable for 300 mm dia Borewell all as specified & directed by Engineer in Charge. 16 Supply, jointing and lowering of Galvanised Iron Heavy Duty flanged Column pipes 125 mm bore , ISI Marked , 3 mtr length each duly flanged both ends by weldingwith special provisions such as MS support clamps, slots for housing 02 Nos Submersible Cable including nuts, bolts, washers and rubber gasket complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge. 17 Supply & Fix Submersible copper Cable 25 Sqmm, 3 core 1100 volt grade complete all as specified & directed by Engineer in Charge. 18 Supply & Fix of MS bail plug suitable for 200mm nominal bore MS pipe with and including its fixing arrangements complete all as specified & directed by Engineer in Charge. 19 Supply & Fix of MS well cap suitable for 300mmnominal boreof pipe at the top of casing pipe of bore well with and including locking arrangement, complete all as specified & directed by Engineer in Charge. 20 Supply & FixMS flat iron 150mm x 16mm thick size (02 Nos) clamp with and including nuts and bolts for holding on 300mm bore housing pipe complete all as specified & directed by Engineer in Charge. 21 Supply & Fix pressure gauge 0 to 21Kg range with and including necessary siphon,15 mm dia stop valve,15 mm bore GI pipe,not exceeding 0.25 mtr in length, 15 mm brass bib cock on rising main and including drilling tapping on GI / CI pipe line complete all as specified & directed by Engineer in Charge. 22 Material & Labour for strata sample (at every 3 meters depth/every change in strata, if less than 3 mtr) one set in suitable box pattern, earth sample strata should be produced as per IS and submitted to the Engineer in Charge. The box shall be made of 2nd class hard wood with suitable locking arrangement etc complete all as specified & directed by Engineer in Charge. 23 Material & Labour for borewell chart on acrylic sheet of size 60cm x 30cm duly marked permanent marking with and including 12mm thick plywood frame, clamps, for fixing on wall etc complete all as specified & directed by Engineer in Charge. 24 Supply and installation of heavy duty chemical dosing system plunger type suitable to inject solution 25LPH working pressure 10kg/sqcm comprising dosing pump coupled with three/ Singlephase electrical motor of capacity 0.5 HP, 1440 RPM, assy with agitator in one motor, agitator with SS sweep blade duly FRP coated FRP tank 75 ltr capacity complete unit mounted on heavy dutyMS fabricated frame duly painted with anticorrosive paint complete with chemical grade PVC NRV alongwith control panel for dosing pump suitable for modelmade of powder coated MS fabricated box consisting of LED indicator digital voltmeter ammeter SPP high and low voltage cutt off complete all as specified & directed by Engineer in charge including necessary cutting and connetion with Pipe Line. 25 Supply & Fixing in repairs cast iron sluice valve heavy duty class PN-1.6 conforming to IS 14846-2000with flanged ends 150 mm nominal bore ISI marked complete with gun metal or stainless steel spindle and cast iron hand wheel including rubber /fiber board gasket nuts, washers etc,suitable for water pressurised pipe lineincluding necessary excavation, returning and filling including taking down old unserviceable item complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge. 26 Supply & Fixing in repairs cast iron sluice valve heavy duty class PN-1.6 conforming to IS 14846-2000 with flanged ends 100 mm nominal bore ISI marked complete with gun metal or stainless steel spindle and cast iron hand wheel including rubber /fiber board gasket nuts, washers etc,suitable for water pressurised pipe lineincluding necessary excavation, returning and filling including taking down old unserviceable item complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge. 27 Supply, fixing, testing in repairs cast iron Non return Valve class heavy duty ISI marked, both ends flanged of size 150mm with and including fitting for connecting the line complete all as specified & directed by Engineer in Charge. 28 Excavation in trecnhes not exceeding 1.5 wide and not exceeding 1.5mtr depth for taking out of old pipe line/laying of new pipe line in hard/dense type of soil, complete all as specified & directed by Engineer in Charge. 29 Returning filling in including spreading , levelling , watering and well ramming in layer not exceeding 25 cm thick each in any type of soil, complete all as specified & directed by Engineer in Charge. 30 Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point, complete all as specified & directed by Engineer in Charge. 31 Material & Labour for Takingoutold unserviceable centrifugally cast (Spun) Ductile ironpipes 100 mm dia including all fittings and accessories complete all as specified and Directed by Engineer in Charge. 32 Material & Labour for Takingoutold unserviceable centrifugally cast (Spun) Ductile ironpipes 150 mm dia including all fittings and accessories all as specified and Directed by Engineer in Charge. 33 Supply laying and fixingof 100mm dia existing centrifugally cast (Spun) ductile iron pressure pipes for water with socket and spigot ends suitable for rubber gasket pushon joining confirming to IS 8329:2000 having inside cement mortar lining and outside zinc coating with finishing layer of blue epoxy in standard length, classificationK-9 in standard length of 5.50/6.0 mtrs including push on joint with cement mortar lining complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.Note:- Cost of all item spares to including joints all type & allied accessories for laying of pipeline upto complete satisfaction of E-in-charge will be deemed to be included in quoted rate. 34 Supply laying and fixingof 150mm dia existing centrifugally cast (Spun) ductile iron pressure pipes for water with socket and spigot ends suitable for rubber gasket pushon joining confirming to IS 8329:2000 having inside cement mortar lining and outside zinc coating with finishing layer of blue epoxy in standard length, classificationK-9 in standard length of 5.50/6.0 mtrs including push on joint with cement mortar lining complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.Note:- Cost of all item spares to including joints all type & allied accessories for laying of pipeline upto complete satisfaction of E-in-charge will be deemed to be included in quoted rate. 35 All as per item No 34 above but with flanged end includinggasket nut & Bolt complete for raising mains complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge. 36 Material & Labour in replacement for CI/GI/DI specials such as bends, tees, collars tail pieces flanges, socket,elbow,tee,reducers etc complete suitable for CI/GI mains of following sizes Upto 300 mm, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge. 37 Material & Labour for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm, 6mm thick, buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level, filled around with layer of charcoal dust and salt and connected to GI earth strip 32x6mm by means of bolt, nut and check nuts and washers of galvanzied iron or steel and other end of the earth strip, connected to test point/equipment/panel and protected by galvanized iron pipe light grade 50mm bore and watering pipe 20mm dia light grade with funnel and wire mesh, PCC 1:3:6 in chambers, RCC 1:2:4 in pit cover reinforced with 6mm dia deformed bars @ 15cm centre to centre both way including necessary excavation & earth work as all as shown in electric plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I complete all as specified & directed by Engineer in Charge.Notes: (i) PCC chambers shall be constructed at leasts 1.5 mtr away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering.(ii) On testing if the desired earth resistance is not bore with the own arrangement of T&P complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge. 40 Material & Labour for masonary valve pit of size 1.2x1.2x1.1 m (internal size) PCC 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) for foundation, brick wall with sub class `B’ bricks built in CM 1:6, PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) for coping, rendering in CM (1:4) 15mm thick, including provision of MS sheet cover 2mm thick fixed to MS angle frame made out of 50x50x6mm thick with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer to steel surfaces frame, duly welded in shape and coated with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved color over a coat of red oxide primer including necessary grouting of legsin ground in PCC 1:4:8 type D2
