Tender For Special Repair To Road(Pcc) /Culvert / Retaining Wall At K Top Road At Af Stn Kanheri Hills Under Ge (Af) Thane; 1 Demolition of cement concrete un reinforced of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for, including disposal of unserviceable materials,debris and rubbish to a distance not exceeding 100 metre, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 2 M&L for plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) in surface channels and drains complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 3 M&L for plain cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as steps, seismic and other similar bands, coping, bed plates for serving hold fasts, filling in mild steel frames etc. and the like including weathering slighting rounded or chamfered angles and throating, including use of form work (straight or curved), complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 4 M&L for cement concrete work as in pavement/hard-standing of flexural strength 40 kg/per square centimetre in field using 400 kg of cement per cubic metre, thickness of concrete 25 cm or less as directed by Engr-In-Charge, finishing surface of concrete road/ pavements by belting complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note:-The rate quoted is inclusive for the following:-(a) Use and waste of side form work for laying pavement concrete/hard-standing in bays between joints & Contraction expansion joint/or between the two contraction joints for thickness of pavement upto and including 25 cm.(b) Design mix for flexural strength concrete to be carried out fromNational Test House, SEMT, CME, and Regional Research Laboratories or from any Govt approved labs such as Govt Engineering Colleges and shall be got approved from GE before implementation in the work. The cost of design mix is included in quoted rate. 5 Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement, including forms, moulds,mitred/ stopped end etc. 6 Demolition of brick work or stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles, complete all as specified and directed. 7 M&L for Pre-cast cement concrete block masonry 1:3:6 type C-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) with solid blocks, exc. 10 cm in width and set in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 8 M&L for random rubble uncoursed stone masonry as in retaining wall , well bonded,bedded and solidly hearted built in cement mortar 1:4, extra overfor random or polygonal rubble walling tobrought up to course as in retaining walls, abutments and similar work complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 9 -Ditto- all as per item No 8 above but except stones complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 10 Racking outjoints/ pointing to random rubbleor polygonal rubble uncoused brought up to courses complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge. 11 M & L for Raised pointing to random or polygonal rubble, uncoursed or brought upto courses in Cementmortar (CM 1:3) complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge. 12 M & L for Stone sett flooring with stone setts of size 200 to 250mm long, 150 to 200mm wide the 150mm dep and sides dressed; bedded in cement mortar 1:3, 20mm thick; joints grouted in cement mortar 1:2 with an admixture of metallic floor hardner, 5% by weight of cement and struck flush complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge. 13 S&F PVC (SWR) 110mm bore pipe single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints laid in trenches or in floors complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 14 M&L for Boulder filling dry, handpacked tightly, as in filling of weep hole of rataining wall complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 15 Taking down cement plaster or terrazzo from brick walls of any description, racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 16 M&L rendering/plastering, 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) on any face of brick walls or concrete surfaces, surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 17 Removal of damaged structural concrete along with loose damaged and crecked concrete/ cover concrete at all specified locations up to beyond the corroged steel reinforcements to a depth of 10 mm minimum behind the reinforcement by chhpping/ hacking with chisel and hammer or by mechinical means like chisel hammer, pneumatic chippers incl high pressure water jetting to chipped concrete and reinforcement and removal and disposal of debris within owners premises incl. all plants and machineries complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 18 Cleaning as directed & specified all rust/scales/ corrosion from reinforcement bars using rust remover Reebaklens RR- Rust remover, cleaning and etching agent supplied in 1/2, 1 and 5 ltr containers, having specific gravity 1.16-1.22 @ 25 degree celcius, reebaklens RR cleaning agent is a combination of acid based materials, corrosion inhibitors and dispersing agents and is supplied as a clear green solution application of reebaklens RR with brush for complete wetting of rusted metal surface and allowed to react it for 16-24 hours followed by cleaning the surface with wire brush and washing surface with fresh water as required to exposed reinforcement bars complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 19 Providing and applying inhibition coats/system to exposed reinforcement bars after drying & also new bars after cleaning & removing scales and rust completely as specified. Nitozinc primer Two component epoxy zincrich primer supplied in 1 and 5 ltrs pack, two component system based on metallic zink and epoxy resin which on mixing gives a grey coloured liquid. An anti corrosive coat contents active Zinc-rich system which combates corrosion by electro chemical means. having specific gravity of 1.75, adhesive bond strength > 1.5N/mm2 solid content 60%, 40 microns DFT, Fully dry/Rrcoatable-45 minutes to 1 hour. Typical application includes surface preparations by cleaning steel surface to a bright condition paying particuler attention to the back of exposed steel bars, mixed two components slow speed heavy duty drill fitted with a paddle, applying unbroken coat with suitable brush and alloy to dry, after 30 mins apply second coat to ensure complete cover to exposed steel/ reber etc complete. Total dry film thickness is 40 microns complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 20 Cutting, febrication new reinforcement FE-500 and fixing with old existing reinforcement which was reduced to 20 % or more of its original dia as provided in original structure and additional steels as directed by EIC to be fixed with chemical anchor grout lokfix E55- styrene free vinyl-ester resin based cartridge syatem for anchoring reinforcement supplied in 300 ML cartidgewith a single mixture nozzle, application inclueds drilling hole close to old reinforcement bar with suitable drill as per dia of the bars, cleaning the hole with wire brush and compressed air, putting lokfix E55 with gun followed by placing rebar with slide rotational motion to avoid air void formation etc complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 21 Drilling holes in to existing concrete substrate for anchoring of new rebars with 10 mm dia shear connectors at 0.5 mtr c/c and fixing with chemical anchor lokfix E55-styrene free vinylester resin based cartridge system for anchoring reinforcement supplied in 300 ml cartidge with a single mixture nozzle, shall be tested in accordance European approval to EAD-33087-00-0601 for use in post-installed rebar, which suspersedes ETAG 001 TR 023 (rebar), LEED compliant VOC Level, Fibre resistance < 120Mins, Seismic C1 testing as part of EAD 330499-00-0601 for specific fastening sizes etc. Typical application inclueds drilling holes 14mm dia and 90mm deep as per manufactures recommandation, cleaning the hole with wire brush and compressed air, putting lokfix E55 with gun followed by placing shear connector with slide rotational motion to avoid air void formation etccomplete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 22 Providing and applying Renderoc RG-Polymer modified micro-concrete supplied in 25 kg moisture resistant bag should possess following properties when mixed with clean water at w:p ratio 0.16, such as compressive strength (BS 4551-80)-50 Mpa at 28 Days, Tensile strength -2Mpa @ 28 days, flextural strength (BS 4551-80) Mpa at 28 days, Youngs modulus-25 KN/mm2, Expansion characteristics (ASTM C827-1987) unrestrained expansion 1 to 4% pressure approx. 0.004 N/mm2, Thermal conductivity-1.5 W/m degree cel. fire rating (EN 1504 cl 5.5)-class A1, fresh wet density (mixed density @27 degree cel. ) -2100-2200 Kg/m3. Typical application inclued mixing whole bag with clean water about 4 litres mixing in suitable container with heavy duty slow speed mixture machine to produce uniform free flowing mix, pouring the same in to the form work using suitable arrangement or if required using pupping device for uniform flow of micro concrete. The side shuttering can be removed after 3 days and the bottom shuttering after 7 days ensuring proper bond between the micro concrete and existing concrete substrate. item rate ia inclusive of materials and labour, tools and tackles, scaffolding and transportation etc complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 23 Providing and applying bond coat on the prepared surface to receive polymer modified mortor/ polymer modified micro concrete , with two components epoxy based bonding coat Nitobound EP- Epoxy rasin concrete bonding agents supplied in 1/2, 1 and 4 ltr Packs, having specific gravity 1.15 to 1.2 gm/cc, Compressive strength (BS 6319 Pt 2)-50 Mpa at 7 Days, Tensile strength (BS 6319 Pt.7)-20Mpa @ 7 days, flextural strength (BS 6319 Pt.3) -35 Mpa at 7 days, Shear strength (BS-6319 Pt.4) 10 MPa at 7 Days having an over lay time of 6 hrs and 30 degree cel. high bond strength : bound strengthis more then the tensile strength of goood quality concrete barrier coat acts as a barrier coat tothe migration of chloride inos from host concrete. Laying of reinstatement polymer modified mortor or micro concrete shall be completed within over lay time of bounding coat. The bond coat act as a bonding coat between old ad new concrete. Typical application includes cleaning all loose dust, dirt, grease from host concrete surface by suitable means, mixing both components of bond by heavy duty slow speed mixer until a unifrom consistency, apply unbroken coat of Nitobond EP with stiff brush covering complete area of patch repair before plcing mortor or nicro concrete. Item rate inclusive of materials all labour, tools and tackles, scaffolding and transportation etc. 24 Dismantling steel iron work (Old M S Railing on culvert & Bridge) of any description not otherwise provided for complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 25 S&F Galvanised iron steel tubing, 80mm bore, medium grade with all fittings and fixed to in floors / railing including cutting, weldingcomplete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 26 M&L for preparation of new steel surfaces of any description over 10 cm in width or girth not otherwise described and applytwo coat ofsynthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
