| 1 | Material and labour for servicing, testingof DG sets by technician /mechanic of authorised DG set workshop to the installations of DG sets of capacity upto 5 KVA to 30 KVA at various locations of air force station Naliya. Checking and testing complete DG setson load(Including engine, alternator, AMF panel, Body & chases complete) for its proper functioning and making a list of repairs/replacements required to be carried out in different parts of the DG sets. Carrying out general servicing and minor repairs and/or replacements complete all as directed for following jobs:-(i) Checking and cleaning of diesel filters & oil filters, checking only engine oil level and intimating the quantity of oil required for topping, oiling & greasing of engine, alternator battery incl tightening of nuts, bolts, lugs etc(ii) Checking and servicing of self starter, AMF panel including replacement/ tightening of nuts, bolts, lugs and other such minor works oiling & greasing, servicing of various parts of DG set such as timer, contactors, meters, etc.(iii) Checking, cleaning and adjusting fan belt tension and cleaning & general servicing of exhaust/ silencer including checking for leakage of smoke & rectify.(iv) Checking, cleaning and tightening of electrical connections & cleaning of AVM pads, tightening / replacement of nuts, bolts, & washers.Checking & tightning of battery terminals and connections also topping up/complete replacement of battery Electrolyte if required.Battery Electrolyte cost is included in above rate.(v) Checking output of alternator and adjusting the same to specified values.Note:-(a) Rates quoted by the tenderer are also deemed to include the cost of S&F in replacement of minors parts like nuts bolts washers lugs supply and applying oil & greasing and minor repairs to DG set.(b) Servicing report of repairs/replacements carried out prepared by OEM will be submitted by contractor to the Engineer in charge for verification. (c) During servicing any new item required to fix will be intimated to Engr-in-Charge and measured and paid under relevant item. |
