| 2 | Fabrication of SS Pipes & Fittings:Collection/transportation of required materials from stores, fabrication of SS Pipes, fittings etc. for the replacement of damaged pipelines, installing new lines, modification and re-routing of steam lines, water lines phosphoric acid lines, sulphuric acid lines, sludge lines etc of various sizes after obtaining a permit from the Process department.Service the line without any leakage. |
| 3 | Fabrication of CS Pipes & Fittings for Rubberlining: Work involves the collection/transportation of required materials from stores. CS/MS pipelines, bends, reducers, tees etc. with flanges/stub ends/collars shall be fabricated to suit the site condition. Flange joints shall be welded properly inside and outside. Edges and weld joints shall be ground properly for rubber lining. Fabricated items shall be transported to the rubber lining area. After completing the rubber lining, items shall be transported to an earmarked area for stacking. Rubber lining is not in the scope of this work. |
| 4 | Replacement/Erection of CS/SS Pipes & Fittings. Work involves Collection/transportation of CS/MSRL/SS pipes and fittings from the store/rubber lining area/ plant area to the site. The Damaged CS/MSRL/SS pipes and fittings shall be dismantled from the site at various positions/elevation/pipe bridges etc., after getting the process clearance.Suitable CS/MSRL/SS pipes and fittings shall be erected with proper gaskets and the flange joints should be tightened to avoid leakage. Service the line without any leakage. Transport the damaged pipeline to the earmarked area for repair/scrap as instructed by the Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 5 | Structural works ofpipe supports:Work involves Collection/transportation of required materials from stores/plant areas. Fabrication and erection / replacing necessary pipe support/clamps as required at the site. |
| 6 | Fabrication and fixing of pipe clamps:Work involves Collection/transportation of required materials from stores/ plant areas.The Fabrication and fixing of pipe clamps for leaky pipes. |
| 7 | Repair Of Flanges:Arrange the necessary tools and consumables required for the work. Dismantling the mating flange/pipeline to repair the damaged flange. Repair flange face at the site by cutting, welding and grinding as instructed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Fix back the mating flange/pipeline with a new gasket and servicing without a leak.Replacement of the gasket in case of a flange leak due to a damaged gasket comes under the scope of this Contract. |
| 8 | Dismantling, Servicing and Refixing of Valves:Arrange necessary tools and tackles for the work.Dismounting valves from the position, dismantling, cleaning, assembling and fixing back in position with new gasket and servicing without a leak.In case the valve is found damaged as inspected and confirmed by the Engineer-in-Charge, collect and transport the spare valve from the workshop/store as instructed by the Engineer-in-Charge, and fix it in position with a new gasket and servicing without leak and transport the damaged valve to Workshed for servicing or to the Scrapyard. |
| 9 | Replacement of Flanged Hose:Arrange necessary tools and tackles for the work. Dismantle the damaged hose and replace it with new hose and service without leak as instructed by the Engineer-in-Charge, transport the damaged hose to the earmarked area for scrap/scrapyard. |
| 10 | Reclamation of usable flanges :Reclamation of old and usable flanges from scrap pipes by cutting, welding and grinding, transporting to the workshop for machining and transporting it back to the plant. |
