Conservation, Repair To Ambabai Temple At Phulchincholi, Tal. Pandharpur, Distt. Solapur.- 1 Removal of plants/ ficus growth by pulling out root system embedded in masnory, cutting stem and application of hing/gur/lime formulation as specified by the Architect or other patented chemical biocide treatment such as biocide Glycel (isoproplamine salt of glyphosate) or other chemical as specified by the Engineer in charge etc. complete 2 Dismantling brick masonry in lime or cement mortar and stacking the materials as directed with all leads, lifts etc. 3 Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side of building/structure, including additional rows of scaffolding in stepped manner as per requirement of site, made with 40mm dia M.S. tube, placed 1.5 metre centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joint with cup & lock system with M.S. Tubes, M.S. tube challis, M.S. clamps and staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for execution of work of cleaning and/ or pointing and/ or applying chemical and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connecting with the building etc, wherever required, if feasible, for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc., complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. Note:- (1) The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. (2) The payment will be made once only for execution of all items for such works. 4 Providing and fixing Jute Kantan (Tarat) screen to the scaffold-ing for external guniting as directed including removing the same after the work is over etc. complete. 5 G.I sheet (Patra) Partition: As per Instruction erect the vertical poles at a distance of 8 to 10 feet & on that provide the horizontal poles & prepare the square, on that fix the GI sheet (patra) .Provide the opening in patra where required. Instructions:- 1) In this work Excavation in any type of road, soil, loose or hard rock should be done and after the work Excavated pits should be refill. 2) The rate of the above work is for 3 days and because of if any reason days exceed beyond 3 days Rate as perfollowing will be given a) for 4th day to 30 th day- 3% of original rate. 6 Numbering the monument elements in proper order before lowering down with approved colour and shade as directed by Engineer in-charge, including ladder, scaffolding etc. complete. 7 ProvidingSoil Bag Support to the monument with contractor´ssoil in proper layers carefully as directed by Engineer in-charge including filling, tying and conveying the bags,removing the soil bags after work up to a distance of 50 meter beyond the monument area and cleaning the siteetc. complete.A) While lowering the Members 8 ProvidingSoil Bag Support to the monument with contractor´ssoil in proper layers carefully as directed by Engineer in-charge including filling, tying and conveying the bags,removing the soil bags after work up to a distance of 50 meter beyond the monument area and cleaning the siteetc. complete.B) While Restoring the members 9 Gently cleaning the surface of stone masonary with specialised water misting technique employing air water jet usinga fine nossle sprinkling system calibrated to sprey fine mist along the stone surface without over wetting followed up by gentle brushing with soft nylon brushesand removing dirt,dist,bird dropping,grease,oil,algae,fungus,monkey beats,vegetable growth,etc as specified.gentle surface cleaning using water misting and mild pH balanced surfactants as specified for indicated areas to remove the surface dirt,grit accretion by means of water misting and cleaning etc.complete as directed by engineer in charge 10 Removing pointing and other epoxy-based hard material from joints and surface area of Basalt stone masonary manually with chisel and hammer or with the help of electric grinders wherever directed by Engineer In charge. By Manual Means 15 Excavationfor foundationin Hardrock by chiselling, wedging, line drilling, etc. including trimming and levelling the bed, removing the excavated material upto a distance of 50 metres beyondthebuildingareastackingasdirected,dewateringandbackfillingwithavailable earth/ murum watering, ramming etc. complete. (Lift upto 1.5 m). By Mechanical Means 16 Compacting the hard murum side widths including laying in layers on each side with vibratory roller including artificial watering etc. complete. 17 Providing Dry Stone Masonry of trap / granite stones as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including in each course, headers hammer-dressed either height of the course are to be placed and to 1.5 metre (5ꞌ) apart, the stones need not be dressed, but should be as flat-bedded as possible, no stone shall be less in breadth or length than height and not joints shall be more than 12.5 mm.
