| 1 | Complete maintenance of the entire garden, lawns, flower beds, hedges, shrubs, foliages, creepers, trees etc., in garden area by watering at regular intervals, cutting and trimming hedges, and removing unwanted growth of grasses as and when required including hoeing, weeding pruning replacement of plants from nursery, gap filling, removal of garden waste, running lawn mover, removing weeds, collecting the cut grass, sweeping fallen leaves of trees and disposing the same at fertilizer pitshown by the institute, reinstating of lawns, watering the trees inside the garden area applying insecticide, pesticide & fertilizers(whenever required) top dressing of lawn with good earth and manure and maintenance of other garden related works (Cost of Good Earth / red earth, Manure, Fertilizer, Insecticide , Pesticide will be arranged by the Institute.) complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.Note: 1. The rate shall include cost of all tools, plants, water delivery hose required for gardening etc.2. The rate quoted shall be per Sq.m. area maintained per month.3. Contractor has to make his own arrangement for Lawn Movers with fuel. 4. The water will be supplied by the Institute on free of cost. The contractor to make the own arrangements to take the water from the existing pipe line outlets wherever available at site.5. If lawn mover is not used, then recovery at the rate of 50 Paise / Sq.m. will be levied as penalty from RA Bill. 6. The contractor shall engage 1 supervisor andminimum 7 numbers of unskilled labourersdaily as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Failure to employ the above minimum daily attendance of labour will attract penal clause as per additional special condition of contract attached with the tender for every default of labour.If any downward or upward variation in lawn maintenance area, accordingly no of labour requirement will be rearranged by the contractor as per the directions of the Engineer in Charge. |
| 2 | Trimming the branches which are protruding into the buildings and on road sides, near street lights in a Residential, Academic and HostelCutting and disposal of dead trees, fallen trees (fallen naturally or due to cyclone and during rainy days) which are obstructing the vehicular movements and sign boards on roads etc., Shifting the samecomplete. (The petrol and oil needed for running the petrol driven 18\" chian saw should also be provided by Contractor). upto 50mt. lead and as per direction of Engineer in charge (necessary T&P shall be arranged by the contractor) |
| 3 | Coconut picking, pruning, shaping of coconut trees and removing and refixing of safetygreen net (ht 30 feet and above) including shifting of cut materials upto 50 mt. lead and as per direction of Engineer in charge (necessary tools and tackles shall be arranged by the contractor). |
| 4 | Maintenance of Earthen potted plants in displayed at ground floor only in Auditorium, office, Guesthouse including application of good earth, manure, insecticide, pesticide and fertilizer, removing of dry parts by pruning, cleaning dry leaves and displaying in appropriate place and recoloring of pots and change of location of pots and replacing with fresh plants as and when required (Materials shall be provided from the nursery) and propagation of available nursery plants and maintenance of lawn around the nursery and display of plants for workshop/Seminar/Symposium conducted by the Institute andas directed by the Engineer in charge. Note : The contractor shall engage minimum 1 labour for above said work and it is inclusive of this item rate. |
| 5 | Producing Organic fertilizer by decomposition of leaf litters in premises, using required decomposing micro organism solution of 4 liters or as required. The quoted rate inclusive ofmicro organism cost and lobour for entire process like removing and shifting ofleaf litters from the pitto ground, and dumping for the processing and etc, completedand as per specification and as directed by the Engineer in charge. Note: The size of fertilizer pit is7260mm (length) X2500mm (width) X 2500mm (depth). |
| 6 | Towards charges for loading the cut & dead tree branches and transporting to the corporation dumping yard by mechanical transport and unloading as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The rate quoted shall be inclusive of labour, equipment and hire charges for truck etc, complete. The mimimum capacity of the truck shall be 75cft (Tractor) |
| 7 | Supplying and stacking of Red earth at site including royalty and carriage complete (earth measured in stacks will be reduced by 20% for payment). |
