NAME OF WORK: REPAIR/ MAINT OF EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY, INTERNAL WIRING, DG SETS, AMF PANEL AT STN CHABUA AND PERIMETER LIGHTS AT DIKOM UNDER GE (AF) CHABUA

3	Opening of top and bottom cover of pressure feed type filteration plants 5000 to 10000 gallons capacity per hours, taking out old filter media including old straineretc and removing and disposing at nearest dump all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
4	Supply and charging in layers Manganese dioxide(MnO2) of approximate sizes 20 mm to 25 mm containing at least 65% of manganese, suitable for use in filtration plant complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make : RMCO/Blue stone / Global Absorbent, NOTE :Samples of raw material (MNO2) should be got tested in Govt approved laboratory before using in the oxidation chamber for determining the MNO2 purity, which shall not be less than 65% ((MNO2 contents minimum 65% purity), testing charge for the same is deemed to be included in the cost quoted by the controctor.
5	Supply and fixingin repairs of strainer, PP/LDPE double deck type PP(3/8\" or 1/2\") suitable for filtration plant, complete all as specified and as directed.
6	Supplying and charging in layers special coarse sand( Barakar sand) suitable for use in filtration plant ofsize 1/8\"\" x 1/16\"\" mesh, complete all as specified and as directed at site.
7	All as per ser item No 6 here in before but 1/16\"\" x 1/24\"\" mesh complete all as specified and directed at site.
8	Supplying and charging in layers new washed, cleaned, dust free graded gravels filter media suitable for use in filtration plant of sizeabove 20 mmto 40 mm complete all as specifiedand directed at site.
9	All as per ser item No 8 here in before butsize above12 mm to 20 mm complete all as specified and directed at site.

12	Testing of water sample as per IS-10500, water sample collection from distributionpoint and getting tested at approved district testing laboratory once in every 03 months or as directed by Engr-in-Charge complete all as specified and directed at site.
13	Material and labour for Cleaning, desludging and removing of all scales and dirt from external surface of OH Pressed Steel Tank of capacity 9600 gallons installed at height of 40\" stagingby complete removal of old paint/ rust by applying detergent and scrapping / wire brushing/sand papering and washing with clear water and painting of external/internnal surface of PS OH tank complete with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer including painting of structure and connected all pipe lines (rising mains and delivery lines) from tank as percolour coading and write (Size oflettering 75 mm height) on indicated space at a height 3.5 mtr from ground level (ie. DATE OF CLEANING................, CAPACITY OF TANK ..................etc.) in black synthetic paint over white synthetic enamel paint all as directed and specified. NOTE : (a) Cost of staging/working platform involved shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted.(b) consumption of bleaching powder for cleaning of each tank shall not be less than 12 Kg(c)Maximum two times cleaning of each tank in entire C.A. period.(Measured separately each time)(d) Work shall be carried out in safety norms and all safety shall be provided by the contractor and no extra claim shall be admissable at later stage.
14	Scraping and cleaning the surface bed, inner and outer surfaces of the IR plant shell for complete removal of scales, rust, old paint etc and painting with two coats of anti corrosive bituminous lead free paint suitable for storage of potable water (for internal surfaces) and two coats of aluminium paint for external surfaces and two coats of synthetic enamel paint with connected valves,frontel pipes as per colour codeand write (size of lettering 65 mm height) on indicated space ie. DATE OF CHANGING FILTER MEDIA............., CAPACITY OF TANK ...........,MES NO ............,SM NO ........etc.) in white synthetic enamel paint over black back ground synthetic enamel paint of 10000 gallons capacity filtration plant complete all as directed.
15	Rewinding of stator of submersible motor for 20 HP capacity with water proof insulated copper wire of existing guage to achieve the specified/required RPMincludingtaking out old unserviceable winding ,complete all as specified and as directed
16	Supply, fiixing, testing and commissioning pressed steel plates of size 1.25 m x 1.25 m x 6 mm thick on existing PS OH Tank installed on 40\" to 50\" height staging with required number of holes on the plates according to existing plate of PS tank incluiding all necessary joining materials i.e. lead wire, tape, lead wool, gasket, putty/jointing compound, new machine made bolts, nuts, washers, MS cleat etc of required size to make the joining portion absolutly leak proof complete including painting of two coats of lead free black bituminous paint suitable for storage of drinking water internally and two coats of Alluminium paint over one coat of red oxide zink chrome primer externally including preparation of surface and refixing/reconnecting of existing pipe line connection, complete all as specified and as directed. (Note : cost of staging/working platform involved shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted.)
17	Supply and fixing in replacement, sluice valve with cast iron body and gun metal/steel spindle and hand operated iron wheel, both ends flanged and drilled including nuts,bolts,washers and gaskets,PN 1.6 ISI Marked of 80 mm bore size all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
18	All as per ser item 17 here in before butof size100 mm bore.
19	Taking up GI water mains from trenches/wall for repair/rectification of leakage of GI water line of sizes 80 to 100 mm dia including bailing out water, mud etc and relaying the same after repair in position and testing of leakage complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Excavation & earthwork will be measured and paid for separately but GI fitting and jointing material deemed to be included in the quoted rate.
