Short Term Maintenance under Original Repair (Contract Maintenance) works at selected locations for maintenance of existing road from Km 61+800 (Barapani) to Km 77+800 (KHADC Junction ) of NH-40 (New NH no. 06) (Total length= 16 km, at various sections) in the State of Meghalaya in the FY 2025-26.(Percentage Rate and work Order Basis).; 1 Clearing and grubbing road landClearing and grubbing road land by mechanical means including uprooting rank vegetation,grass,bushes,shrubssaplingsandtreesofgirthupto300mm, removal of stumps and stumps of trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and staking of serviceable material with all lead up to 1000m including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150mm in thickness.(ii) By Mechanical Means (A) In area of light jungle 2 Hill side Drain Clearence (Removal of earth from the chocked hill side drain and disposing it on the valley side manually) 3 Restoration of Rain Cut : Restoration of rain cuts with soil, moorum, gravel or a mixture of these, clearing the loose soil, benching for 300mm width, laying fresh material in layers not exceeding 250mm and compacting with plate compactor or power rammers to restore the original alignment, levels and slopes. 4 Parapet Wall : Random rubble masonry with hard stone in foundation and plinth including levelling up with cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 cemen t: 6 coarse sand : 12 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) up to plinth level with (a) Cement mortar 1 :6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand). 5 Parapet WallCement plaster(in coarse sand) 12 mm thick Cement Plaster of mix 1:4( 1 cement : 4 coarse sand) in single coat on road side of parapet walls for finished even and smooth including curing complete as directed. 6 Surface unlined Drain -Construction of unlined drain of average cross-section area of 0.4 sqm in soil/ordinary rockto specified lines, grades, levels and dimensions as per approved design and to the requirement of Clause 301 to 309. Excavated materials to be used in embankment at site.(A) by Mechanical means. 7 Land slide clearance in soilClearance in landslide clearance in soil & ordinary rock by a bull dozed D 80 A-12, 180 HP & disposal of the same on the valley side or dumping site for lead upto 5 km. 8 RRM Breast Wall : Random rubble masonry with hard stone in foundation and plinth including levelling up with cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 cemen t: 6 coarse sand : 12 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) up to plinth level with (a) Cement mortar 1 :6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand) 9 RRM Breast WallPlain Cement Concrete in open foundation complete as per drawing and technical specifications 1500, 1700, and 2700. (levelingcoursebelowfoundations,approachslabs,returnwall,wingwall, curtain wall and including protection works at U/S and D/S all complete).(A) PCC Grade M15 10 RCC RallingRCC Railing of M-30 Grade insitu with 20mm nominal size aggregate , true to line & grade, tolerance of vertical RCC post not exceed 1 in 500 , centre to centre spacing between vertical post no to exceed2000 mm , leaving adequate space between vertical post for expansion , complete as per approved drawings and Technical specifications. 11 Road DelinatorsSupplying and Installation of Delinators (Roadway Indicators, hazard markers, object markers) 80-100 cm high above ground level, painted black and white in 15 cm wide strips, fitted with 80X100 mm rectangular or 75 mm diameter circular reflectorised panels at top, buried and pressed into the ground and conforming to IRC-79 and the drawings. 12 INTERLOCKING PAVER BLOCK - Providing and laying 60 mm thick factory made cement concrete interlocking paver block of M-30 grade made by block making machine with strong vibratory compaction, of approved size, design & shape, laid in required colour and pattern over and including 50 mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, filling the joints with line sand etc. all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. 13 INTERLOCKING PAVER BLOCKGranular Sub-Base with coarse graded material:Constructionofgranularsub-base(GSB) ofspecifiedgrade,spreadinginuniform layerswithmotorgraderonpreparedsurface,mixingbymix inplacemethod withrotavatoratOMC,andcompactingwithvibratoryrollertoachievethe desired density, complete as per clause 401 14 INTERLOCKING PAVER BLOCKRCC-M20: Reinforement cement concrete M-20 mix with stone aggregate 20mm nominal size machnically mixed and vibrated for reinfoce concrete work excluding steel reinforcement, but including centering and shuttering laid in position (using penetrone admixture @ 3.0 Kg per cum 15 INTERLOCKING PAVER BLOCKReinforcement -Steel Reinforement for RCC work including bending binding placing in position. HYSD 16 Temporary Restoration work : Provinding temporary Restoration work in the form of a pallasiding with empty bags fully filled with approval locally available sand, moorum, gravel etc. including stiching the bags with jute strings of required diameter and placing the filled up sand cement bags in proper slope to withstand temporily the road structure from sliding
