Repair/Maint Of High Mast, Post Top Lanterns, Garden Lights, Street/Security/Periphery Lights And Repair / Maint Of Dg Sets At 9Irsd, Wed, Mo(V) (New), Ashoka Park, Mpetta, Namac, Nsb And Nsv Areas Under Age E/M No-Ii Of Ge(U-I) Visakhapatnam; 1 NOTES / INSTRUCTIONS FOR STRICT COMPLIANCE :-(a) The contractor shall obtain sample approval for all materials incorporating in the work as per condition 10 of IAFW-2249 and Special Condition 11 of tender document mentioned here-in-after.(b) The Engineer-in-charge may direct the contractor in writing to procure and deposit up to 50% quantity of the material with in 30 days from the date of commencment as required at site out of quantity to complete the scope of work. Remaining 50% shall be procured as per site requirement during progress of work.The decision shall be final and binding on the contractor.(c) The contractor shall deposit the procured material to the store of concerned subdivision within 30 days from the receipt of written direction. Amp 40 M&L for periodical maintenance and repairs to High Mast / Mid Mast of 12.5 m to 16 m height lantern carriage / winch, checking for movement, inspecting the alignment, cleaning of dust, applying grease to the motor, replacing old nut bolts, motor electrical connector etc., checking of any short circuit / burnt wire, re-fixing the light fittings and realigning the carriage and light fittings as required complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 41 M & L for dismantling, removing the high mast winch motor of capacity 0.7 to 1.7 HP from position after carefully dismantling the steel rope, lantern carriage and transporting to workshop and replace damaged / burn out winding nad other connected spare parts nad refixing the same after repair in place complete all specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. 42 M&L for repairing burnt out alternator wiring of DG Set of 250 KVA capacity, replacing worn out connectors, nuts and bolts, warming up the alternators, cleaning the dust with dry blow air, megger the insulation values, measure and correct the load / no load excitation voltagesbefore & after maintenance and recording the values complete all as
