This is applied prior to the application of polymer repair mortar / epoxy mortar / Microconcrete to have monolithic action between old concrete surface and new concrete surface.  16 Repairs to the deteriorated / damaged areas of RCC elements in the structure shall be carried out by using powder Polymer Modified repair mortar. The polymer modified mortar is applied when the epoxy bonding coat is still tacky. In one application 25 mm thickness shall be built. Subsequent layer shall be built with one bond coat of Polymer modified cement slurry. The polymer modified repair mortar shall be mixed, applied and cured as per technical specifications.  17 Leak-proof Shuttering for Encasement: Providing, fabricating & fixing the leak-proof shuttering made with marine plywood/M.S. sheets with proper supports at all locations for all shapes etc., for encasement & deshuttering the same after specified period or next day of placing the microconcrete / concrete. The dry product is to be mixed with 12.5% water by weight, along with washed and poured into rigid form work moulds & tamped properly, & cured for 3 days. rate is also inclusive of necesary supports to be provided for structural members and required barricading. No extra payment shall be made for shuttering or any other material.]  19 Providing and applying Dr. Fixit Primeseal as priming coat and two coats of Dr. Fixit Raincoat or equivalent as per manuacturers specifications to parapet walls and vertical faces, dead walls where ever required and as directed including filling surface cracks should be filled with Dr. Fixit Crack X or Dr. Fixit Unifiller or polymer modified mortar for wider cracks if required.  20 Providing and fixing GI/PVC Nozzel (8mm to 12 mm dia) for cement grouting as per scope of the work mentioned including,driling,sealent putty , removing the nozzeldirected etc complete.  21 Providing and fixingResin/PU packer(Nozzel)for PU/water compatable epoxy grouting as per scope of the work mentioned including, driling, sealent putty, removing the nozzeldirected etc complete.  22 Grouting Cementand polymer slurry as per scope of the workincluding all material, manpower and machineries etc complete as directed.  23 Grouting PU foam resin as per scope of the work including all material, manpower and machineries etc complete as directed.  24 Grouting water compatible Epoxy as per scope of the work including all material, manpower and machineries etc complete as directed.  25 Jacketting the existing column of size as shown in the drawing by removing the concrete cover to reinforcement, by chipping or other suitable means to expose the reinforcement of existing column in order to make available the same for binding the extra reinforcement as shown in the drawing and also removal of rust, scales of the reinforcement in order to provide and apply approved make of epoxy resin to get proper bond with newly laid M25 grade concrete. The aforesaid concrete shall be laid by the sides of the existing column with uniform thickness of 115 mm or as specified, for jacketing purposes thereby increasing the sectional dimensions by 150 mm or as specified (excluding finishing) at any height with requisite shuttering, centring, scaffolding, proping, repairing the existing surface as specified and also removal of debris, curing etc. complete as per design and drawing etc. directed. (NOTE :- Reinforcement will be paid separately under respective item of schedule ).  26 Jacketting the existing beam or beam connections as shown in the drawing by removing the concrete cover to reinforcement, by chipping or other suitable means to expose the reinforcement of existing beam or beam connections in order to make available the same for binding the extra reinforcement as shown in the drawing and also removal of rust, scales of the reinforcement in order to provide and apply approved make of epoxy resin to get proper bond with newly laid M25 grade concrete. (NOTE :- Reinforcement will be paid separately under respective item of schedule).  27 Providing and fixing in position steel bars reinforcement of various diameters for R.C.C. pile, pile caps, footings,raft,retaining wall,shear wall, lift wall,foundations, slabs, beams, columns, canopies,staircases, newels, chajjas, lintels, pardies, coping, fins, arches, etc. as per detailed designs,drawings and bar bending schedules,including straightening, cutting, bending, hooking the bars, binding with wires or tack welding, supporting as required etc. all complete at all levels. HYSD steel bars (Fe 415)  28 Shear Connector: Make 10/12 mm dia holes using heavy duty electrically operated hammer drills in the concrete of RCC members to a depth of about 75 mm at 500 mm c/c or at suitable grid in zig-zag fashion, clean the holes using air jet and fix pre-fabricated 100 + 50 =150mm L-shape 8 mm dia rebar using Anti Corrosive protective coating so that 75 mm out of 100 mm is inserted inside the concrete and 25 mm remain outside along with 50 mm bend. For plastered wall surface/Wood work/Steel surface.  37 Providing and applying single coat of an approved make primer for waterproof cement paint as per manufacturers specifications to the smooth surface, upto 10m height from ground level and at all locations as directed including preparing surfaces for painting by any approved means, scaffolding, cleaning and curing etc. complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.  38 Excavation for foundations, substructures, basements, tanks, sumps, walls, chambers, manholes, trenches, poles, pits & general building works in all types of soils, vegetable earth, soft murum, running sand, shingle, turf clay, loam, peat, ash, shale, slag, chalk, garbage, muddy/ marshy/ slushy soil, marine clay, reclaimed land etc. for depths/lifts upto 1.5M measured from the ground level, including dressing/ trimming the sides, leveling and ramming of bottoms, manual dewatering, removing rank vegetation, backfilling in layers not more than 200mm thickness, watering, consolidating, compacting stacking the selected material in measurable heaps for future use within owners space or disposing within RCF estate as directed, loading, unloading, leveling excluding shoring, strutting etc. complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Note: 1) The rate includes the handling/supporting the existing utilities such as cables, drains, pipes, water mains etc. 2) It also includes the royalty and other taxes applicable if any.  39 Providing and fixing single skin trapezoidal profiled sheeting 930 -1020mm cover width 28-32 mm crests depth at 186-250 c/c ( above 195 mm c/c crest distance there will be minimum 2 ribs at the centre for stiffening). The feed material shall be manufactured from AZ 150 (min. 150 gms/sq.mt total on both sides) Zincalume / Galvalume sheets of minimum yield strength of 550 MPa, 0.45 mm BMT, ( 0.5 mm TCT excluding paint coating thickness), metallic hot dip coated with Al-Zn alloy (55% Aluminium, 43.5% Zinc, 1.5% Si ) as per AS 1397 /IS15961 & painted with Super Durable Polyester Colorbond steel XRW or equivalent quality paint system of apporved color, suitable for exterior application conforming to AS/NZS 2728:2007 type-4 / IS15965:class3 of approved make. The sheet shall have a total coating thickness of 35 microns, super durable polyester paint system of 20 microns on exposed surface and 5 micron reverse polyester coat on back surface over 5 micron primer coat on both surfaces. The paint system shall have stable inorganic pigments for color durability. The product will be fastened using no.12-14x55 mm (or as per design requirement), mechanically coated with 25 micron Zn-Sn alloy or hot dipped zinc coated with min 40 micron hex self-drilling fasteners with EPDM washer of approved make confirms to AS3566:2002 class 3. The fastener shall be fixed on every crest of sheets for connecting with purlins. The contractor is to submit design and workshop drawings and take approval on the sheet profile, design and detail before installation of the sheets from the concerned authorities. (The measurement shall be based on per unit of finished/covered surface area.)
