| 1 | Analysis shall be carried out in licensed finite element software. |
| 2 | Existing site use drawings, summary of available Non-Destructive Tests and DCSEM guideline will be shared as a prerequisite to the work. |
| 3 | The buildings to be worked with, are all in occupied condition and hence possible multiple visits may be required for investigating internal locations. The work shall be carried out with least disturbance to residents. |
| 4 | Debris if any generated during the removal of concrete/plaster etc. shall be disposed to nearby dumping ground inside Anushakti Nagar colony including all leads, lifts, loading, unloading etc. complete without any extra cost to the Department, etc all as per direction of EIC. |
| 5 | Filling, plastering & painting of all the removed surfaces or drilled holes shall be done by contractor after conducting various tests to bring member / structure to original condition as directed by Engineer-in-charge and all the expenses including tools & equipment, material, labour etc. all complete shall be borne by contractor. |
| 6 | The rates quoted by the Consultant shall be inclusive of all scaffolding, hoists, tools, equipment, instruments, material, labour etc., required for the smooth execution and completion of the work. No extra amount will be paid for Mobilization of equipment, personnel, materials required for work including dismantling / removal / demobilisation of same after completion of all field work etc. Also, no extra charges will be paid for lead / lift, loading / unloading, handling /rehandling, stacking of materials etc. at site. |
| 7 | The entire operation of core drilling / cutting and other tests shall be carried out in highly professional manner. Safety procedures are to be followed strictly while carrying out the on-site tests. Existing re-bars should not be cut in the process of core cutting. Rebar locator shall be used to locate and avoid cutting of rebars. |
| 8 | The draft report (1 copy) shall be submitted to DCSEM considering at least 15 days for review. Final report shall be submitted to DCSEM in hard form (3 sets) and soft copy in pen drive. The soft copy means both editable & pdf formats along with all relevant input files, pre & post- processing programs. For detailed content of the report refer attached scope of work. |
| 9 | Final report shall be signed by empanelled Structural Engineer / Structural consultant of BMC and shall be submitted to Engineer-in-charge for record. |
| 10 | Scope of work shall definitely include but shall not be limited to the following: |
| 11 | All the necessary tools, equipments, instruments, material, labour etc. required for completion of work and shall be part of the scope of work. |
| 12 | Location of all tests shall be established by the contractor at his own cost. |
| 13 | The requirement of additional testing than those from earlier structural audit shall be decided by the agency |
| 14 | Carry out laboratory tests on samples collected to determine concrete properties as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. |
| 15 | DCSEM reserves the right to ask for clarification and additional information without paying additional charges. |
| 16 | Hard copy of draft report shall be submitted for scrutiny and approval by the department and necessary changes shall be incorporated as required before submitting the Final report. |
| 17 | The work is to be carried out in occupied buildings, therefore, work shall be done in phased manner with least disturbance to residents / occupants. |
| 18 | Water and Electricity required for the work will be provided by the department. |
| 19 | Contractor shall strictly abide by the local statutory regulations imposed by the Department / Police authorities regarding any equipment, operation, drainage, security, etc., wherever applicable. |
| 20 | Contractor shall follow DAE safety rules. In addition, following security regulation shall be followed strictly while movement of labourers / workers / contractor\"s personnel, etc. |
| 21 | Contractor shall issue I-cards to his workers deployed on regular basis. |
| 22 | Supervisor of contractor having photo pass can bring daily wage workers / casual workers inside premises for work. He should prepare list of such workers in duplicate. The original copy shall be handed over to the security or representative of the Engineer-in-charge at the gate and obtain endorsement on duplicate copy on a daily basis. |
| 23 | The Contractor\"s personnel including daily wage workers shall be in uniform with proper identification for ease in identification of such persons at unauthorised places. |
| 24 | The daily wage workers / casual workers employed by the contractor must wear florescence visi wear without fail during their presence inside premises. |
| 25 | Contractor shall arrange PVC (Police Verification Ccertificate) for his employees & labours deployed on work. |
| 26 | The quoted rates shall be inclusive of all taxes, cess, Levy, GST etc complete. |
