| 1 | Repairs to Dismantling and taking down in repairs to unserviceable PS plates fromexisting 9600 Gallons PS water overheadtank installed at40/50 feet height staging by dismantling and taking down in repairs to unserviceable PS plates, disconnecting pipeline connection carefullyby cutting , unscrewing nuts & bolts etc and refixing the same with existing serviceable plate/new plate of size 1.25 m x 1.25 m x 6 mm , painting the tank after repair work with 2 coats of aluminium paint outside the tank incl staging(staging painted by black synthetic enamel paint both side) top to bottom and two coats of lead free black bituminous paint inside the tank (suitable for storage of drinking water) and scraping smoothly by scraper & sandpaper to remove all loose paints, scales, rust and restoration of pipe lines, lettering with white synthetic enamel paint over the black painted surfaces of indicated plates(i.e. capacity of tank, date of cleaning etc) complete all as directed. Note :- (a) The cost for the refixing of old serviceable PS plate & pipeline connections in new or old positions with necessary GI fittings, flanges and jointing materials to make the joint leak proof. etc includes in the unit rate quoted by the firm. (b) New Plates shall be measured and paid separately.(c) The PS tank shall be painted with two coats of alluminium paint out side incl staging and two coats of black bituminous (lead free) paint inside complete, Cost of staging/working platform & painting (inside / outside) invoived shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted. |
| 2 | Supply, fiixing, testing and commissioning pressed steel plates in repair of size 1.25 m x 1.25 m x 6 mm thick on existing PS OH Tank installed on 40\" to 50\" height staging with required number of holes on the plates according to existing plate of PS tank incluiding all necessary joining materials i.e. lead wire, tape, lead wool, gasket, putty/jointing compound, new machine made bolts, nuts, washers, MS cleat etc of required size to make the joining portion absolutly leak proof complete including painting of two coats of lead free black bituminous paint suitable for storage of drinking water internally and two coats of Alluminium paint over one coat of red oxide zink chrome primer externally including preparation of surface and refixing/reconnecting of existing pipe line connection, complete all as specified and as directed. (Note : cost of staging/working platform involved shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted.) |
| 3 | M&L in Repairing and making leak proof joints of plates in position by loosing the jointing bolts, unscrewing jointing materials such as lead wire/tapes, lead wool gasket, bituminous compound and replacing with new matching machine made bolts, nuts, washers bituminous compound suitable for potable water and MS cleats wherever required complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. |
| 4 | Opening of top and bottom cover of pressure feed type filtration plant 5000 to 10000 gallons capacity per hours, taking out old filter media including old strainer etc and removing and depositing at nearest dump all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 5 | Scraping and cleaning the surface bed, inner and outer surfaces of the Iron Removal Plant shell for complete removal of scales, rust, old paint etc and painting with two coats of anti corrosive bituminous paint (lead free) suitable for storage of potable water (for internal surfaces) and two coats of aluminium paint for external surfaces and two coats of synthetic enamel paint with connected valves, frontel pipes as per colour codeand write (size of lettering 65 mm height) on indicated space ie. DATE OF CHANGING FILTER MEDIA............., CAPACITY OF TANK ..........., MES NO ............, SM No........etc. in white synthetic enamel paint over black back ground synthetic enamel paint of 10000 gallons capacity filtration plant complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |

DATE OF CLEANING................, CAPACITY OF TANK ..................etc.) in black synthetic paint over white synthetic enamel paint all as directed and specified.NOTE:- (a) Cost of staging/working platform involved shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted.(b) Work shall be carried out in safety norms and all safety shall be provided by the contractor and no extra claim shall be admissible at later stage. |

Thedesludging/de-watering shall be done one time only in the interval of minimum 06 months, if pumping required at site more than one time will be done by prior written approval of Engineer-in-charge.(ii) Diesel engine pump & other T & P including fuel will be arranged by contractor under his own arrangements. |
