Conservation And Site Management Plan Of Shri Conservation And Site Management Plan Of Shri Ballaleshwar Temple, Pali, Tal. Sudhagad, Dist. Raigad= 1 Dismantling the existing lights, tublelight, bulbs, fans, independent plug points, wiring including circuit mains of all types along with accessories etc. complete as per specification No.WG-DM / PW 2 Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side of building/ structure, including additional rows of scaffolding in stepped manner as per requirement of site, made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube, placed 1.5 metre centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joint with cup & lock system with M.S. Tubes, M.S. tube challis, M.S. clamps and staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for execution of work of cleaning and/or pointing and/ or applying chemical and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connecting with the building etc, wherever required, if feasible, for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc., complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. Note:-(1) The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose.(2) The payment will be made once only for execution of all items for such works. 3 providing and laying green net of minimum shade dencity 75 percent as per requrinment on site as per instruction by engr incharge 4 Removing the existing cement/ lime plaster of any thickness without causing dust nuisance and stacking the debris upto a distance of 50 m or spreading in the compound and cleaning the site etc. complete. 5 Raking out joints in lime or cement mortar and preparing the surface for re-pointing or replastering including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead. 6 Dismantling the R.C.C. Work 1: 2: 4 and sorting out the materials such as steel etc. as directed and stacking them within the specified lead as directed etc. complete. 7 Removing brick bat coba including stacking the spoils as directed with all leads, lifts etc, complete.. 8 Removing iron pipe railing having wooden or R.C.C or C.C or iron posts and stacking the materials as directed etc. complete. 9 Removing cement tiles or marble or polished shahabad floor or dado without bed concrete including stacking the materials as directed with all lead, lifts, etc. complete. 10 Removing lime or lean cement concrete including stacking the spoils as directed with all leads, lifts etc, complete. 11 Removing doors and windows with frames and stacking the materials as directed with all leads, lifts etc. complete. 12 Removing G.I. or A.C. sheet roofing including purlins, principal rafters etc. including sorting service able and unserviceable materials, stacking the same as and where directed in the compound including scaffolding etc. complete. 13 Removing R.S. girders of any size and span lowering the same and stacking neatly wherever directed in the compound scaffolding etc. complete. 14 Dismantling brick masonary in lime or cement mortar and stacking the materials as directed with all lead, lifts, etc. 15 Dismantling stone masonary in lime or cement mortar including stacking the materials as directed with all lead, lifts, etc.. 16 Lowering down carefully existing stone masonry of the monument manually in proper order including shifting the stone elements up to a distance of 50 meter beyond the monument area and stacking them as directed by Engineer in-charge, removing building rubbish and cleaning the site etc. complete. 17 Excavation for foundation in hard murum including removing the excavated material upto a distance of 50 metres beyond the building area and stacking and spreading as directed, dewatering, preparing the bed for the foundation and necessary back filling, ramming, watering including shoring and strutting etc. complete (lift upto 1.50 m) By Manual Means. 18 Providing dry/ trap/ granite/ quartzite/ gneiss rubble stone soling 15 cm to 20 cm thick including hand packing and compacting etc. complete. 19 Providing and laying cast in situ 1:2:4 Lime Concrete of trap/ granite/ quartzite/ gneiss metal for foundation and bedding as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including bailing out water, centring, formwork, laying/pumping, compacting, roughening them if special finish is to be provided, finishing if required with fine aggregate, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller and then mixing with coursed aggregate in drum mixer as per specifications including bailing out water, watering etc. complete. 20 Filling in plinth and floors with approved excavated material in 15 cm . To 20 cm. layers including watering and compacting etc. complete. 21 Conveying the excavated materials, debris of brick or stone masonary, R.C.C. slab, water proofing, stone members/ materials, cement/ lime concrete, tiles/ marbles/ stone slab/ brick bat coba, etc. upto 2.5 km, away from the site and cleaning the site properly. 22 Clean or remove the dust cement plastercolour patches or any other cement or lime patches from the any stone surface with nichesgroovesmoulds architectural designs by using dry/ micro dry/ wet air abrasion method using calcium silicate particlesAluminium silicate particles any crushed stone particles crushed calcium carbonate particles mineral slag copper slagcoconut, almond shells particles glass beads Aluminium oxide particles, It is binding to use any of the above mentioned material with any number of coats until surface gets clean as per the requirement of site engineer, deputed conservation architect. This process includes all required tools, equipment and machinery of any shape and size as per stone surface requirement. This also includes all materials like potable water and scaffolding. At the end clean the surface by using water jet pump. 23 Providing general pest control services to the building to control the nuisance of cockroaches, lizards, pin bores and other insects, etc. with 4 operations in a year and monthly checkup. 24 Providing anti termite treatment to the sides of flooring of the existing building as per I.S. 6313 (Part-III) by punching holes 6 mm dia. drilled at a distance of 30 cm. centre to centre and injecting one percent of chlorodane emulsion concentrate at the rate of 50 ml per hole and sealing by filling putty etc. complete covering 2 years guarantee on bond paper. 25 Providing antitermite treatment to the wooden frames of doors/windows of the existing building as per I.S. 6313 (Part-III) by drilling 6mm dia. holes at four corners on one side and four corners on other side at a downward angle of about 45 degree at the junction of wood work and masonary and injecting150ml. of chlorodane 5% W.C. and sealing by filling putty etc. complete covering 2 years guarantee on bond paper. 26 Providing antitermite treatment to the joints of wooden beams / joist used for the roof work of the existing building as per I.S. 6313 (Part-III) by drilling 6mm dia. holes at a downward angle of about 45 degree at the junction of wood work and masonary and injecting 80ml. of chlorodane 5%W.C. and sealing by filling putty etc. complete covering 2 years guarantee on bond paper. 27 ProvidingpreconstructionalantitermitetreatmentasperI.S.6313(Part-II)bytreatingthe bottom surface and sides of excavation at the rate of 5 litres of emulsion concentrate of 1.0 percentofchlorophyrifospersquaremeterofsurfaceareacovering10yearsguaranteeon bond paper. 28 Providing and fixingIndian T.W Columns, beams of size 0.30 x 0.30 andmin height - (1½″) thick and from 10 m. to 15 cm. (½″) in thickness, every stone shall be set flush in mortar, the face stone shall be for greater size, and good beds, one through stone shall be inserted at least every 0.80 sq. mete (1 square yard), the joints shall be racked out carefully at least 25 mm. (12″) in height averaging 4½ c. ft., the face stone shall be laid header and stretcher alternately, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, scaffolding, watering and all masonry work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete. 53 Providing/Re-setting Ashlar Fine Masonry of reuse-stones in lime mortar 1:1 in superstructure as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including the stones shall be set in fine mortar, the beds or joints being in no case more than 3 mm. (⅛″), the stone shall be laid in regular course, the face stone shall be laid header and stretcher alternately, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, scaffolding, watering and all masonry work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete. 54 Providing Block In Course Masonry of trap (black basalt) in lime mortar 1:1½ with size of stone [0.45 x 0.35 x 0.20 m] (18 x 14 x 8) for steps as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including the stones be of approved quality, colour, hard and free from defect of any kind, the face of stones shall be rough-tooled, rustic (with or without chisel draft, except at quoins), or chamfered as specified, the beds and joints of all ashlar stones to be dressed perfectly true, square and full, headers shall not be less in length than breadth of ashlar stone plus 45 cm. (1ꞌ6″), the stones shall be set in mortar, the beds or joints being in no case more than 3 mm. (⅛″), the stone shall be laid in regular course not less than 17.5 cm. (7″) in height, the face stone shall be laid header and stretcher alternately, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, bailing out water, watering and all masonry work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete. 55 Providing Ashlar Rough-tooled Stone Steps of trap / granite stones in lime mortar 1:1½ with size of stone[0.60 x 0.40 x 0.213 Meter]as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including the stones be of approved quality, colour, hard and free from defect of any kind, the stones shall be of exact size and shape, the shall be rough-tooled on exposed surface, holes for balusters should be cut in the steps before they are laid, each stone shall rest at least 3.8 cm. (1½″) on that below it, the beds or joints being in no case more than 3 mm. (⅛″), preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, watering and all steps work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete. 56 Providing/Re-setting Ashlar Rough-tooled Stone Steps of reuse-stones in lime mortar 1:1½ as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including each stone shall rest at least 3.8 cm. (1½″) on that below it, the beds or joints being in no case more than 3 mm. (⅛″), preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, watering and all steps work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete. 57 Providing and fixing Trap Stone Paving, Second Sort in lime mortar 1:1, with size of stone [0.60 x 0.45 x 0.15 meter] (24 x 18 x 6) , as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including all stone slabs to of approved quality, hard, even, sound, durable and uniform thickness, the stones to be very finely chisel-dressed on the surface and the course to be of prescribed width, the joints running true, the stones to be laid with joints not exceeding 6 mm. (¼″) thick and to be evenly and firmly bedded flush in mortar on the concrete and no hollow left, side to be dressed true and as per shape at least half the depth from the face, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, watering and all paving work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete. 58 Providing Ashlar Arching of trap / granite stones in lime mortar 1:1, with size of stone 0.60 x 0.45 x 0.30 (24 x 18 x 12) as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including the arch stones be of approved quality, colour, hard and free from defect of any kind, the arch stones in all cases of the entire thickness, the arch stones shall be dressed full and true to their proper shapes with the necessary summering, twist or winding and be set in fine mortar, the intrados, joints and beds to fairtooled and left full, the cast or keying course to be accurately fitted, at all horizontal joints the intrados to have a 2 cm. (¾″) chamfer, the face stone may be tooled or rock-faced with or without chamfer as directed, in arches up to 60 cm. (2ꞌ) in depth all stones shall be of the full thickness of the ring, arches to be built on proper centring, the bed joints shall be radial and the side joints shall be at right angles to the bed joints and the thickness of the joints shall not exceed 5 mm. (3/16″) preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, cantering/scaffolding, watering and all arch work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete. 59 Making of moulding/ grooving/ chamfering on the surface of the formed stone member, as per given design or drawing, by an expert, artisan craftsman, including light sand papering of the finished member if required. 60 Making of relief architectural carving on the surface of the formed stone member, as per given design or drawing, by an expert, artisan craftsman, including light sand papering of the finished member if required. 61 Providing Brick Masonry First Class in superstructure with size of brick 0.20 x 0.15 x 0.07 in lime mortar 1:1½, as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including the bricks to be of uniform size, moulded ground, thoroughly well burnt and sound, ringing clearly when stuck with trowel, the bricks to be soaked in water for 12 hours before used, the bricks are to be laid flush in mortar in such bond as directed, as far as possible, bricks of uniform colour are to be selected for the face work when it is not to be plastered, the joints are not to exceed 12.5 mm.
