Tender For Improvement Of Road Around Domestic Area At Af Stn Mohanari; 1 Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 sqm and depth n.exc 50 mm complete all as specified and directed. 2 Preparing ofblack topsurface by wire brushes for removing caked, mud etc sweepiing with brooms and finally fanning the cleaning surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed. 3 Excavating over areas n.exc 1.5m deep and getting out in hard/ dense of soil complete all as specified and directed. 4 Removing excavated material exc 1.50 Km but n.exc 5 Km and depositing complete all as specified and directed. 5 Rolling and consideration formation surface with 8 to 12 tonne power roller incl filling in softs hollow and depression etc which occurs during rolling for portion coming on cutting/ original ground only to required level gradient or camber etc incl watering before or during rolling complete all as specified and directed. 6 M&L for granular sub bases 150mm thick with kankar or laterite of gauge 40mm to 80mm deposited spread, levelled in one layer, inter stices filed, surface formed and rolled and consolidate to required gradient and camber well rammed with power roller 6 to 10 tonne capacity complete all as specified and directed. 7 M&L for 75mm thick (compacted thickness) 75mm thick WBM, with coarse aggregates of grating 2 (63 to 40mm size) of graded 3 (50 to 20mm size) of granite, trap basalt, flint or quartizite, spread, rolled and consolidated top to required gradient and camber well rammed with power roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity complete all as specified and directed. 8 M&L for Applying evenly a prime coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion SS1 conforming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.7-1.0 Kg/ Sqm on surface of WMMIVVBM as specified in Table 500-3 of MaRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed. 9 M&L for Applying evenly a prime coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion SS1 conforming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.9-1.2 Kg/ Sqm on surface ofstabilized soil bases/ crusher run macadam as specified in Table 500-3 of MaRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed. 10 M&L for premix bituminous, macadam laid/ rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less)using paying bitumen binder of grade VG-30 @ 4% by weight of total mix complete all as specified and directed. 11 M&L forapplying evently a tack coat of Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS : 8887 at a rate of application of 0.2-0.3 Kg/Sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 MaRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer after cleaning of existing surface complete all as specified and directed. 12 M&L for bituminous premix asphaltic semi-dense concrete 40mm consolidated thickness (mixed in central computerized hot mix plant) with 5.5% binder content of grade VG-30 by weight of total mix, compacted to required camber and gradient using mechanical self propelled paver and rolled with machanical vibratory power roller 8 to 12 ton capacity complete all as specified and directed.Notes: -(a)Automatic hot mixing plant of adequate capacity shall be used for heating and mixing of aggregate bitument etc for asphaltic semi dense concrete and mix shall be laid with mechanical sensor pavers.(b)Actual binder content shall be as per job mix formula as per SSR.Cost of job mix formula, testing during currency of work and materials consumed for job mix formula and testing is deemed to be included in the unit rates.(c)Job mix formula of semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be got from approved Govt lab and shall be got approved from GE in writing well before commencement of work.The cost of materials, transportation, job mix formula from lab and testing charges for various tests as per specified. 13 M&L for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc on roads pavements and the like n.exc 10 cm wide with thermoplastic road marking painting white or golden or yellow complete all as specified and directed. 14 Material and labour laying well burnt old sizebricks, straight or curved on plan , laid flat with width equal to length of brick , laid dry over electric cable for protection all as specified.
