Note- (i) The unit rate shall include for GI water pipe, protection pipe wire mesh, funnel, excavation, RCC pit cover, PCC, test point, G I strip 32 X 6 mm from top of earth plate upto 5 m.(ii)PCC pit shall be provided at least 1.5m away from the earth pit and extra cost of additional length of water pipes and fixing junction, Elbows etc. shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate.(iii) RCC pit cover shall be precast of RCC 1:2:4, type B-1, 80 mm thick reinforced with XPM weighing not less than 4kg/Sqm in lieu of cast iron cover.(iv) On testing after completion of earthing if the desired earth resistance is not obtained earthing will be re-done by the contractor at his own risk & cost to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. |

The extra cost of the watering pipe, bends, elbows shall be included in the unit rate, complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) RCC pit cover shall be precast of RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 80 mm thick reinforced with XPM weighing not less than 4 Kg/ Sqm.(ii) On testing after completion of earthing if the desired earth resistance is not obtained earthing will be re-done by the contractor at his own risk & cost to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. |
