Tender For Special Repair To Building No T-01 (Or Living) Under Age B/R-Ii And P-11 (Single Jco Living) Of Otm Accommodation Under Age B/R-I At Tibri Mil Station Gurdaspur.; 1 Removing existing water proofing treatment by brushing with wire brush, cleaning of terracing by taking down cement concrete, existing plaster lime cova 80 to 100mm thick mud phuska/cement concrete/lime cova etc, cleaning of all foreign material such as fungus mass dust etc, roughing surface of corner to roof by wire brush incl demolition of cement concrete tiles complete all as specified and directed. 2 M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded stonecrushed aggregate) as in padding levelling etc and roof kerbs complete all as directed. 3 M&L for water proofing treatment to roof slab with APP based modified polymeric membrane centre core 100mm microne HMHDPE outer flim 20 micron each having thickness 3 mm weight not less than 3kg/Sqm with 100mm overlap laid as per manuacturers instructions complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge with following course of description below:-(a) 1st coat applying bitumen primer confirming to IS-3384-1965 @ 0.40 Kg/Sqm to be applied on prepared roof surface till the surface is properly impregnated. (b) 2nd coat of bonding material using blown type bitumen conforming to IS-702 of grade 85/25 @ 1.20 Kg/Sqm. (The kota stone shall be fixed in single piece). 12 M&L for machine cut kota stone slab 18-20mm thick on riser of steps ,skirting ,dado and pillar laid over cement screed bed 10mm thick in CM 1:4, jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including rubbing,polishing complete all as specified & directed. shall be as under:-(i) Application of two component acrylic modified cementitious coating(a) The surface to beapplied shall be completely dry and free from containments such as dirt, dust, oil, surface treatments and old coatings. Concrete substrates must be mechanically prepared using abrasive blast cleaning or milling to remove cement laitance existing coating and achieve a gripping profile that is clean, dry and free from laitance and any other form of surface containmation. The installation instruction in manufacturers published literature shall be strictly complied with, including but not limited to the following:-(b) Chipping out any visible cracks in V-Groove pattern as applicable. Special attention on this part. Cleaning of cracks & then filling those cracks with SIKA latex SBR 100 putty/Dr. Fixit 302 SBR latex/ perma latex SBR/FOSROC Nitbond SBR latex/Asian paint latex as required. Final cleaning of surface with powder grinder, wire brush, hair brush & vacum pressure (c) Providing PCC 1:2:4, type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) of 50mm thick admixed with SIKA plastocrete over the applied water proofing coating on horizontal surfaces.(Admixture: Sikaplastocrete plus/FOSROC/Dr. Fixit/STP/CICO confirming to IS 2645.) (d)Dampen all surface immediately ahead of apllication of acrylic modified cementitious coating of SIKA top seal-107/Brush bomd FOSROC/Dr. Fixit/STP/CICO. 131 (e) Whilst the surface is still damp from saturation (SSD) apply one coat of acrylic modified cementitious coating of SIKA top seal-107/ Brush bond FOSROC/Dr. Fixit/STP/ whilst of the first coat is wet. (f) Apply glass fabric sheet of SIKA Fab 1/FOSROC/Dr. Fixit/STP whilist the first coat is wet.(g) Once touch dry, apply second coat of acrylic modified cementitious coating of SIKA top seal-107/Brush bond FOSROC/Dr. Fixit/STP/CICO of viscosity as per manufacturer ins on the entire area. Second coat shall be applied after 6-8 Hrs of application of previous coat and in the direction right angle to the previous coat. (h) The waterproofing coating shall be taken to a height minimum 300mm above the finished floor level on the vertical surface.(j) It is essential to cure acrylic modified cementitious coating immediately after application (min 6-8 hrs drying) for a min of 3 to 5 days to ensure full cement hydration and to minimize cracking. (k) A protection plaster (15mm thick) in ready mix mortar admixed with appropriate integral water proffing compound has to be a apllied on the walls(.Admixture: Sikaplastocrete plus/FOSROC/Dr. Fixit/STP/CICO confirming to IS 2645.) (l) All the corners and joints shall be pretreated with an elastic waterproofing sealing tape with a woven bonding mesh on each surface and an elastic expansion zone in the centre of make seal tape SIKA/FOSROC/Dr. Fixit/STP. (m) The membrane has to be protected in accordance with the manufacturers recoomendations until placement of concrete. The membrane to be inspected for damage just prior to concrete placement and make repairs in accordance with manufacturers recommendations. 132 (n)Waterproofing treatment has to be carried out through applicators authorised. (o)All the joints of pipes and traps within the sunken portion shall be sealed properly by epoxy sealant.(p) All CI/PVC Traps in sunken slabs to be enclosed with PCC 1:1.5:3 (min 15cm) allround. (q) The sunken portion shall be filled with PCC 1:5:10 type E-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) complete all as specified.(r)Providing drainage spout pipe GI 40mm dia bore light grade upto outside of outer wall (Approx 300 mm long) incl cutting to existing wall and making good the distrubed surface complete all as specified and directed.(s) Providing 25mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 (using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in flooring for laying floor finishes all as specified. for APP based polymeric membrane minimum weighing 3 kg/ sqm and minimum 3mm thick, reinforced with polyster non woven fabric (weight not less than 150 gms/ Sqm) including bitumen primer @ 0.40 kg /Sqm by forced application with butane torch over entire roof area with minimum overlaps of 100mm at the sides/ longitudinal edges of strips membrane and 150mm at the ends and sealed complete all as specified and directed and all as per manufacturers instructions. 140 M&L for 40mm thick brick tile laid over 15mm thick ready mix mortar bedding layer in grouting and pointing with CM (1:3) mixed with 5% of crude oil by weight of cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 141 All a per Srl item No 140 here-in-before but except tiles (old serviceable dismantled tiles
