Tender For Repair/Maintenance Of Internal Roads Including Road Furniture At Upper And Lower Leimakhong Mil Station.; 1 Material & Labour for Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exceeding 400 Sqm and depth exc 50mm and n.exc 100 mmand removing materials from site of work or stacking for reuse at site complete all as specified and directed. 2 Material and labour for 75 mm thick WBM (compacted thickness) with broken metal of granite, trap or basalt stone of grading 2 (63mm to 40mm) or grading 3 (50 to 20mm size) spread, rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller and consolidated to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. 3 All as per Serial Item No. 2 here-in-before but except material.Note:- Material obtained from serial Item No. 1 shall be reused after screening. 4 Material and labour for Preparing unsurfacesd WBM surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 KG per 10 Sq.m of paving bitumen ofVG-10 complete all as specified and as directed. 5 Material and labour for repairs to potholes of depth n.exc 30mm and area not exc 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 Kg per 10Sqm (VG-10), putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.80 kg per 10 sqm (using paving bitumen VG-30), binded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.30 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), rolled with smooth wheeled power roller 8 to 12 tonne and compacted to required camber and gradient and finishes to a uniform and smooth surfaces complete all as specified and as directed. 6 Material and labour for preparing Black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 Kg per 10Sqm using paving bitumen grade VG-10 complete all as specified and as directed. 7 Material & Labour for laying Bituminous Premixed Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete, 40 mm consolidated thickness, using paving bitumen of Grade VG – 30, with 5.5% of binder content by weight of total mix using Hot Mix Plant and Mechanical Paver finisher, rolled and compacted with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as specified.Note: Minimum Bitumen content shall be 5.5% as specified here in above. Please note that if the actual quantity of bitumen to be incorporated on approval of Mix–Design is found more than the minimum bitumen content specified above, No price adjustment shall be made for actual bitumen content of Mix–Design. Bitumen shall be Paving Bitumen of Grade VG–30 and shall be procured by the contractor. M/x-Design shall be approved by GE. 8 Material and labour for premix bituminous macadam (using paving bitumen VG-30)laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less), rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and as directed.Note :-Binder content, paving bitumen VG-30 shall be @ 4.5% by weight of total mix. All materials are prepard by hot mix plant. 9 Material and labour for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer @ 2.5 Kg per 10Sqm using paving bitumen grade VG-10 over bituminous surfacescomplete all as specified and as directed. 10 Material & Labour for Road Marking Strips, Lines, Dashes, Arrows, Letters etc of 2.5 mm thick [Reflective Type] of approved colour conforming to BS 3262-1989 on roads, pavements and the like not exceeding 10cm wide with Hot Thermo Plast material by fully automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine, fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heaters and profile shoe heater, driven by skilled operator on road surface complete as per MoRT & H specifications including cleaning the road surface of all dirt, scales, oil grease and foreign materials etc complete all as specified and as directed. 11 Supply and fixing in Repair metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed 12 Supply and fixing in Repair solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc. all as specified and directed. 13 Supply & Fixing in repairs ofConvex Mirror outdoor typemade with Poly carbonate material mounted on 80mm dia MS pipe post duly powder coated of 2450mm length, clear and define mirror images having 130 degree of veiwing angle, unbreakable and stronger glass size of 800 mm dia and including embedding below GL in PCC M-15 (Nominal mix) type B-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone agreegatesin foundation of size 300mmx300mmx450mm, necessary excavation including demolition of existing US mirror with PCC bed blockcomplete all as specified and as directed. 14 Supply& Fixingin repairs of rubber speed breaker of size 500x450x50mm thick, Load bearing capacity 2500 kg is designed so dynamically and compact that it can bear maximum load of it. The body of the speed breaker is made of ABS material. Two highly reflective reflectors moulded in PMMA material are welded with ABS plate through ultrasonic welding process and then fixed on to the speed breaker so that dust and water cannot touch reflectors inside and thus it maintains its reflectivity for a long time, Number of reflectors-8, Colour-Yellow & Black complete all as specified and as directed. 15 Materials and labour for earthing complete with galvanised iron earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick, burried directly and preferably vertically in ground, earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below ground level connetced with galvanised wire of 4mm diaby means of nuts, bolts, check nuts and washers made of galvanised iron or steel earthing lead to be protected by galvanised iron pipe of 15mm bore (light grade) and other end connected to earthing test point or lightening arrestor or main controlling switch as directed including providing funnel with 20mm bore galvanised iron pipe (medium grade), wire mesh, charcoal or coke and common salt in alternate layer of 15cm (compacted thickness) all round the earth electrode, concrete earth pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (with 20mm graded aggregate), 50mm thick precast RCC (1:2:4) cover slab (re-inforced with 8mm dia TMT bar @ 15 cm C/C bothways and suitable handle made of 10mm dia) including necessary earth work in excavation, returning filling and removal of surplus earth upto a distance not exceeding 50 m etc all as shown on electrical plate No. 3 of MES Schedule Part-I(2009) complete including testing on completion including taking down old unserviciable earthing set all as specified and as directed.Notes:-(i) Main earthing strip from earth plate electrode to rest point upto length of 7.5 meters length shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item. (ii) On testing after completion if the desired resistenance is not obtained the contractor shall redo the earthing without any extra cost to the department.
