Tender For Repair To Potholes And Damaged Portion Of Bituminous Road In Factory Area.; 1 Repair to potholes and damaged portion of bituminous road in factory area. 2 Material & labour for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing cacked mud etc. sweeping with brooms & finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified & directed. 3 Material & labour for repairing to potholes any depth, not exc. 1.00sqm each including sweeping, free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at exc. 30mm in depth, painting the sides and bottom of the holes with a thin application of bitumen or a combination of both as indicated. Making good by filling with bituminous macadam of 4% binder content by weight of total mix using VG 30 grade paving bitumenover a tack coat of bitumen @5Kg per 10sqm (using computerised hot mix plant and mechanical paver machine) and compacted to require camber and gradient by using heavy hand rammers/approved mechanical tampers and finally finished with a seal coat. 4 Material & labour for applying evenly a priming/tack coat (VG 30 GRADE) with bituminous primer at 5kg per 10sqm using paving bitumen on existing black top surface complete all as specified and directed. 5 Material & labour for providing premix bituminous macadam using paving bitumen grade of VG 30 with binder content @ 4% by weight of total mix, using hot mix process & laid by mechanical paver, rolled & compacted with power roller exc. 8 tonnes and not exc. 12 tonne capacity to gradient & camber required etc. 6 Material & labour for providing bituminous pre mix asphaltic semi dense concrete 25 mm thick consolidated thickness with 6.00% binder content by weight of total mix usingpaving bitumen of VG 30 (using computerised hot mix plant and mechanical paver machine) and compacted to required camber and gradient using power roller over bituminous macadam surface. 7 Material & labour for providing premixed sand seal coat with 0.06cum of sand mixed with 6.8Kg of paving bitumen VG 30, applied and rolled to a uniform smooth surface. 8 Surface dressing not exc. 15cm deep in soft/loose soil to level road and to remove surplus earth to a distance not exc. 50m as directed.
