| 2 | Excavation in earth work for structureinall heights and depths in all kinds of soil including ordinay rock,hard rock (Requiring blasting), hard rock(blasting prohibited), marshy soil and their intermediate classification.If water is metdue to stream flow, seepage, rain and other causes it shall be removed by suitable diversion, pumping and bailing out andthe excavation shall be kept dry whenever so required by the contractor at his own cost , including dressing of slopes and beds setting out conforming to required lines, grades , side slopes as shown in the drawing and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and transportation of soil to road wayafter back filling and then disposing of surplus excavated earth in acquired width of road or on approved dumping sites including its stacking, leveling and dressing in all leads and lifts through all modes of transportation including head load animal load or mechanical means or other incidentals to complete the work as per technical specifications clause 305.1. All useful materials,such as stone shingles, agg. and slates shall be sorted out and stacked along road sides to the maximum possible extent in all leads and lifts. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution of disposal of serviceable and un-serviceable materials shall be absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all respects. |

| 5 | Removal ofslips/land slide in hilly area in ordinary rock not requiring blasting by mechanicalmeans including cutting and trimming of slope and disposal of cut materialwithin lift upto any leadas per technical specification any loss of public property or any accidents etc. the contractor is fully responsible during the execution of work. The fuel/POL charges and operational staff for the machine will be provided by the owner. The repair and other incidental charges of machinery during the execution of work will be borne by the contractor while making the record entry, The useful meterial shall be stacked along,the road side as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. |
