Tender For Repair Maint Of Link Lights Pathway Lights Highbay Lights And Connected Works At Ina Ezhimala; 1 Material and labour for checking the serviceability of different spares / components / parts of security light fittings T-5, LED Lights, Post top lantern, Trafic light fittings,garden light, high bay etc, any wattage/capacity) of any description and in any position, replacement of un-serviceable/ damaged/ broken part(s) either in single or in combination, re-assembling the fittings and making the light fittings serviceable, fixing the fittings in position, connecting to electric supply and its testing on installation complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge. 2 Note for item No. 1.00 :-(i) Necessary T&P i.e. ladder, tools etc required for checking and making the light fittings in serviceable conditions and its fixing in position and testing shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost for checking and fixing of street light fittings/security light fittings of any description on poles / on walls / on pillars etc i.e. in any position at site and the cost thereof shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (ii)Required screws, insulating tapes, internal wiring wire , gaskets and other minor items excluding the required spares parts for repairing and making the street light fittings/security light fittings in serviceable condition, will be arranged & supplied by the contractor and cost of which is deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor in aboveitem including rectification of minor cable fault & over head fault by fault finding/identification. 3 Supply and fix 1.5 sqmm three core PVC insulated and sheathed copper conductor multistrand cable for electric connection from pole light/junction box to street light complete all as specified and as directed. 4 Supply and fix as in repairs street light bracket made ofGI Pipe 40 mm dia light grade 1.5 Mtr in length, bent to required shape fixed with 2 Set of MS Clamps made out of flat iron 40x4 mm, incl bolts, nuts and washers complete all as specified and as directed. 5 Supply and fix as in repairs of electric astronomicaltimer control panel, cubical type, for out door use,dust & vermin proofwall/ pole mounted made out of CRCAsteel sheet withtime switchestype 12 KW/ 63Amps 3 pole/415Volt Analog time switch with completeaccessoriesto fix on polefor switch on,off andcontrol the street light timings including testing complete all as specified as as directed, 6 All as per Item No 4.00 here-in-before but 6 KW/ 40Amps 3 pole/230 Volt Analog time switch 7 Supply and fix as in repairs Junction box (Bus bar chamberbox) of size 250 x 200 x 105 mm made out of plastic with and includeMCB, SP, 6 Amp, 240 volts, 10 KA for controlling the street light complete clamped to the pole with and including MS clamp made out of flat iron 25 x 3 mm thick, nut, bolts and washers including providing the electrical connection for incoming / outgoing cable through proper lugs/thimbles complete allasspecified and as directed. 8 Material and labour for scrapping out faded / rusted old paint from street light pole of9m height using wire brush. Emery paper and prepairing surface for painting applying one coat of alluminium paint on poles including cross arms, bolts and nuts, anti climbing device etc and writing existing pole number with black paint over a yellow base and painting of coping/base using white cement base paint complete all as specifed and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 9 Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exeeding 1.5 m deep, getting out the excavated earth bottom surface to required gradient complte all as specified and as directed. 10 Material and labour for removal of excavated material such as soils n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point. 11 Returning filling in, and including spreading and leveling in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified & as directed. 12 Material and labour for spreading riddle earth for cushioning andcovering of the UG cable in two layers, first laylers of 80 mm thick before laying of cable and second layer of 150 mm thick after laying of cable in trenches/ ducts including consolidation of each layers complete all as specified and as directed. 13 Material and labour well burnt old size sub Class ‘B’ bricks, laid flat,in trenches for cable protection complete all as specified and as directed. 14 Material and labour for cutting the existing road/hard standing made of concrete or premix carpet, WBM, soling and moorum filling including excavating for laying the cable/pipe, width 0.5 Mtr and depth 0.7 Mtr all as directed and making good the road/hard using pre mix bituminous as required at site to match with the existing surface all as specified. Note :- (i)Location of boring holes shall be decided by the Enginer- in- charge as per requirement , nothing extra shall be payable on account of variation in length of crossing of road /PTT/pavement /Hardstanding etc. (ii) During boring soil strata may be changed, hence nothing extra shall be paid to the contractor for boring of holes through different type of soil.
