Tender For Repairs To Road At Af Stn Wadsar; 1 M&L Preparation of existing black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning cleaned surfaces with air compressor through air jetto remove allloose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed. 2 M&L for applying evenly a tack coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS: 8887 @ of application of 0.2-0.3 kg/sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, on road surfaces by sprayer, operated on hot pressure mechanism complete all as specified and directed. 3 M&L forlaying spreading 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) of Premix Bituminoussemi dense asphaltic concrete as perdesign based on Job mix formula with 5.5% bitumen binder content (bitumen of Grade VG-30) by weight of total mix including heating bitumen to the required temperature, mixing bituminous concrete in automatic and temperature controlled hot mixing with electronicoperated 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant, transporting the hot mix from HMP to work at site by tippers and laying, spreading uniformly by means of hydrostatic paver finisher and rolling and consolidating to the required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem power roller, complete all as per Clause 507 MORTH (5th Rev) specification and all as specified and as directed.Note for item No 3:(i)Paving bitumen of Grade VG-30 for SDAC shall be used and procured by the contractor under his own arrangementand at his own cost. (ii) Cost of all the materials, T&P labour etc. required for providing and laying bituminous concrete (SDAC) including procurement of bitumen as specified here-in-before, stone aggregates & sand, cement etc., rolling and all other elements required for entire completion of the job shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted for this item.(iii) Computerized print out of data of bituminous concrete (SDAC) in automatic and temperature controlled hot mixing plant shall be provided to the GE by contractor. 4 (iv) The contractor shall quotes the rate against item considering 5.5% VG-30 bitumen content.Job Mix Formula as per Clause No 505.3.3 of MORTH (5th Rev) for BC shall be worked out fromCPRI / IIT, SEMT wing or NIT or Govt Engineering Collegefor obtaining Optimum Binder Content (OBC) by the Contractor without any financial effect to the Department and the same be submitted to the Accepting Officer for approval.Any variation in binder content Minus side shall be adjusted @ 50/Kg of binder and no adjustment shall be made on Plus side (v) After spreading of Mix as per clause 507.4.7 entire surface during the operation shall be rolled with Power road roller 8-10 tonne (smooth wheeled) followed with vibratory road roller of 8-10 tonne static weight, followed by finished rolling with 6 to 8 tonne smooth wheel tandem roller as per Clause Nos 507.4.8 and cost of the same is deemed to be included in quoted unit rate.(vi) Cost of filler i.e, cement lime etc is deemed to be included in quoted rates.(vii) Job mix formula shall be approved by Accepting Officer. 5 M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and applying 2.0mm thick (as per IRC pattern) centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like upto 15 cm wide or over on roads pavements with hot applied thermoplastic road marking paint of approved quality and colourWhite/Golden/Yellow as approved by Eng-in-Charge,confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed. 6 S&F in repair metal tubular delineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net of size as directed by Eng-in-Charge for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (300x300x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed 7 S&F in repair Convex mirror with polycarbonate body, 80cm dia, suitable for road turning, intersections, curves, T junctions,etc., with clear and definite mirror image having 130 degrees of viewing angle, fixed to MS pipe/wall or embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (300x300x300mm) typeB-1, complete all as specified and as directed by Eng-in-Charge. 8 S&F in repair cat eye solar reflective type of metalalloy body of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PMMA striplensreflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufacturers instructions all as specified and as directed by Eng-in-Charge. 9 Supply and fix solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono crystalline solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufacturers instructions etc. all as specified and directed 10 S&F in repair metal tubular solar delineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 4 Nos ultra bright LED lightsand mounted on 50 mm dia mild steel pipe of minimum 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel netof size as directed by Eng-in-Charge for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (300x300x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and as directed.
