Tender For Maintenance / Upgradation Of Roads And P/L Interlocking Tiles At I.A. Sarojini Nagar Distt.Lucknow - Scarifying metalled (water-bound) road surface including disposal of rubbish, lead upto 50 m and consolidation of the aggregate received from scarifying with power road roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity 2 Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate (Table 400-13) to wet mix macadam specificationincluding premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of minimum static weight of 80 to 100kNto achieve the desired density, 3 Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (VG-10) on prepared surface of Wet Mix Macdam Base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70 kg/sqm(Table 500-3) using mechanical means, complete. 4 Providing and laying dense graded bituminous macadam with higher capacity batch type HMP using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 4.5 percent by weight of total mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoRT&H specification clause No. 505 complete in all respects. 5 Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (VG-10) using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.20 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous surface cleaned with mechanical broom. 6 Providing and laying 40 mm thick bituminous concrete with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of Grading-2 ( Table 500-17), premixed with bituminous binder (VG-30) @ 5.4 per centof mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specification. 7 Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm. thick as per approved colour, layout and design including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm. area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per MORT & H specification No. 803. The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes rates to be inclusive of all taxes, royalty, VAT etc. all T & P/ machine material and labour required for proper completion of work. 8 Reflective Raised Pavement Markers ( Cat Eye / Road Stud ) Supply and fixing of raised pavement marker with Made of Plastic body of g RPM / Road Stud shall be moulded from ASA ( Acrylic Styrene Acrylonitrite ) ar HIPS ( High - Imoact Polystyrene ) or Acryloniitrite Butadien Styrene ( ABS ) or Any other suitable material approved by the Engineer . The Marker shall support a load of 13,635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280.The Reflective panels shall consist of number of lenses containing single or dual prismnalic cubes capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entring the lens face . Lenses shall be mouled of methyl methecrylate conformning to ASTM D788 of equivalent . The slop or retro - reflecting surface shall preferably be 35 +/- 5 degree to base and the area of each retro - reflecting surface shall not be less than 13.00 sq.cm. the marker height shall not be less than 10 mm and shall not exceed 20 mm & amp ; Width shall not exceed 130 mm . The base of the marker shall be flat within 1.3 mm all road studs shall be legibly marked with the name , trade or other means of identification of the manufacture . epoxy installations , excess adhesive around the edge of the marker , excess adhesive on the pavement and adhesive on the exposed surfaces of the markers shall be immediately removed . 9 Excavation for road way in soil by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) including cutting and pushing the earth to site of embankment upto a distance of 100 metres (average lead 50 metres), including trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections 10 Providing and laying 1:4:8 (1 Cement: 4 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources: 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources). 11 Construction of granular sub-base by providing coarse graded Material, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed Material to work site, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, 12 Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 in foundation and plinth in: Cement mortar 1:4 (1) cement: 4 coarse sand) 13 Providing and laying of inter locking concrete block pavement having thickness 80mm as per drawin g and technical specificatrion 14 Providing and laying damp-proof course 40mm thick with cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources: 4 graded stone aggregate 12.5mm nominal size derived from natural sources).
