Tender For Special Repairs To Certain Roads At Masimpur Military Station; 1 Material & Labour for Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 Sqm and depth exc 50mm and n.exc 100 mmand removing materials from site of workcomplete all as specified and as directed. 2 Material and labour for laying and compacting 75mm thick (compacted thickness), Wet Mix Macadam(WMM), laid in two layers, grading as per table 400-13of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013, manufactured in WMM plant, material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor pavor and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80KN-100KN static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed.Note- The finished surface tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge Works 2013. 3 Material and labour for laying and compacting 150mm thick (compacted thickness), Wet Mix Macadam(WMM), laid in two layers of 75mm each grading as per table 400-13of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013, manufactured in WMM plant, material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor pavor and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80KN-100KN static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed.Note- The finished surface tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge Works 2013. 4 Material and labour for preparing WMM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer @ 10 Kg per 10Sqm using paving bitumen grade VG-10 complete all as specified and as directed. 5 Material and labour for preparing Black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 Kg per 10Sqm using paving bitumen grade VG-10 complete all as specified and as directed. 6 Material & labour for premixed bituminous macadam of coarse aggregate (50 to 20mm),using paving bitumen of VG-30 grade @ 4% by weight of total mix, mixed in hot mix plant and laid by mechanical paver finisher, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. Note: The premixed bituminous macadam will be laid as in levelling course in sunken /damaged road patches as per site requirement. 7 Material and labour for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer @ 2.5 Kg per 10Sqm using paving bitumen grade VG-10 over bituminous surfacescomplete all as specified and as directed. 8 Material & Labour for laying Bituminous Premixed Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete, 40 mm consolidated thickness, using paving bitumen of Grade VG – 30, with 5.5% of binder content by weight of total mix using Hot Mix Plant and Mechanical Paver finisher, rolled and compacted with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as specified.Note: Minimum Bitumen content shall be 5.5% as specified here in above. Please note that if the actual quantity of bitumen to be incorporated on approval of Mix–Design is found more than the minimum bitumen content specified above, No price adjustment shall be made for actual bitumen content of Mix–Design. Bitumen shall be Paving Bitumen of Grade VG–30 and shall be procured by the contractor. M/x-Design shall be approved by GE. 9 Dismantling of old Bricks edging (laid flat or on edge) laid dry complete all as specified and as directed. 10 Material & Labour for Continuous brick edging using burnt clay bricks of sub class Bwith width equal to the depth of the brick, laid dry on end at the required angle complete all as specified and as directed. 11 Material & Labour for Road Marking Strips, Lines, Dashes, Arrows, Letters etc of 1.5 mm thick [Reflective Type] of approved colour conforming to BS 3262-1989 on roads, pavements and the like not exceeding 10cm wide with Hot Thermo Plast material by fully automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine, fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heaters and profile shoe heater, driven by skilled operator on road surface complete as per MoRT & H specifications including cleaning the road surface of all dirt, scales, oil grease and foreign materials etc complete all as specified and as directed. 12 Supply and fixing of cat eye reflective type of metal body alloy of size 110mm x 120mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector fixed with and including aluminium studs of suitable size as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and directed. 13 Supply and fixing in Repair solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono crystalline solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc. all as specified and directed 14 Supply and fixing in Repair metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed 15 Surface dressing in road side berms n.exc. 15cm depthin soft / loose soil, depthand removing rubbish upto a distance n.exc. 50 m all as specified and directed. 16 Material & Labour for Moorum / Red Bajri filling under Floors or in Pavings laid in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick, spread levelled and rammed / rolled with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity including watering to and consolidated to required level, gradient and camber required complete all as specified and as directed. Note:Measurements shall be taken after consolidation of earth and 10% deduction shall be made for payments.
