| 2 | M & L for water proof cement based putty applied @ 1 kg (undiluted) per Sqm of average thickness 1mm over the plastered/ old prepared painted surface of walland sanding of the putty surface with mechanical wall sander (having mechanical vaccum mechanism) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of 240 grit or above to make the surface free from dust etc by deploying skilled labour as per the following steps:-Step 1 :- Mix the putty powder by adding water as per manufacturer\"s instruction and mix it with putty mixer with the mixing capacity of min 2.5 kg putty per minute.Step 2 :- Apply the first coat of the prepared mixer with the help of fully automatic airless spray machine of putty application finishing the surface even and smooth in level without any undulations.Step 3 :- Allow 6-8 hrs time to dry the putty surface. |
| 3 | M & L for one coat of acrylic water based exterior grade primer applied @ 0.9 litre (undiluted)/ 10sqm, diluted with water in 1:1 ratio, applied with fully automatic airless spray machine and allowing 6-8 hours to dry the surface for painting of subsequent coats complete all as specified and directed. |
| 4 | M & L for water based premium acrylic smooth exterior emulsion of approved colour with silicon additive excellent dirt pickup resistance with low VOC less than 50, Antifungal / Anti Algai properties applied in two coats @ 1.79 litre (undiluted) / 10 Sqm, diluted with water as per manufacturer\"s instruction, applied over preprimed surfaces with fully automatic airless spray machine of paint application with a flow speed of minimum 1 litre per minute having a pressure of 3300 PSI allowed the surface to dry for 6-8 hours in between subsequent coats of paint complete all as specified and directed. |
| 5 | Notes for srl item No. 1 to 4 The work for periodical services shall include the following elements and the rates quoted by the bidders shall be deemed to include for the same:-(a) The work pertaining to periodical services shall be executed by the contractor through authorised applicator of manufacturer ofthe materials like Exterior Emulsion paint & putty etc after prior approval of the GE in writing. A MOU to this effect shall be submitted with bid.(b) The Contractor shall upload the \"Memoradum of Understanding\" (MOU) entered into, with at least one of the approved manufacturers/ manufacturers mentioned in the contract , under cover-I of the e bid , failing which the bid shall be liable to be rejected and no claim whatsoever shall be entertained on this account.(c) Use of Scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles etc necessary for execution of work and protective measures and safety norms as required.(d) Removing of Nails, making good holes, cracks etc(e) Work in patches and in narrow / widths, bands, cornices, pilasters etc and cutting in edge of line where necessary.(f) Spreading and removing protective covering to doors, windows, floors, fittings etc to protect them from splashes.(g) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery, electric fittings , wirings etc. Drops and splashes of paint/putty to be cleaned to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.(h) Sample patch of 10Sqm area shall be prepared considering all the items of periodical and shall be got approved from GE prior to carrying out further work. |
| 6 | M&L for rendering cement plastering 12 mm thickin cemet mortar 1:4 includingmixingliquid WPC of approved manufacturer as per manufacturers instruction @ 0.200 ltr in 50 Kg of cement on brick work or concrete surfaces or in chajjas/parapet walls etc, surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement incl taking down of existing plaster of any description complete all as specified anddirected Note : Liquid WPC shall be measured and paid separately. |
| 7 | M&L for rendering cement plaster 10mm thick in CM 1:3 on fascia / edging / ceiling of Chajjas,roof projections etc, mixed with WPC liquid as per manufacturer\"s instruction @ 0.200 litre per 50 kg of cement including taking out peeled off plaster / concrete if requiredand making the line in true shape and finishing the surface without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note : Liquid WPC shall be measured and paid for separately. |
| 8 | Taking down cement plaster and decayed concrete of any description, upto tripple storey of building, from roof projection, chajja etc and making good the decayed portion with cement mortar 1:3 mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer\"s instruction or PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 (using 12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate) including necessary form work and finally finished the surface with 15mm thick cement plaster in CM 1:3complete all as specified and directed. |
| 9 | M & L for dismantling & removing loose concrete,replacing corrodedreinforcement with new one and filling plain cement concrete 1:1½ :3 type A0 using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate at places like chajja, sun shades, roof projection, fascia, etc including necessary form work, complete all as specified & directed Note :- Reinforcement shall be measured and paid seperately. |
| 10 | M&L for Mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over cut to length bent to shape required including cranking, bending, binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia complete all as specified and directed. |
| 11 | Supply only liquid water proofing compound of appproved make complete all as specified & directed. |
| 12 | M&L for writing letters or figures (Block, Roman, Italic or Indian) n exc 30 cm high. The colour of paint and dimension of letter to be used shall be approved from the Engineer-in-charge prior to execute the work complete all as specified and directed. |
| 13 | M & L for preparing old painted steel and iron surfaces of any description, not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed. |
| 14 | M&l for preparation of old painted wooden surface of any description exc 10cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paintcomplete all as specified and directed. |
| 15 | Note for Item No 1 to 13 (The cost for providing steel tubular double scaffolding necessary for execution of work and protective measures for height more than height of single/double/triplestorey building as directed shall be included in the quoted rate against the respective item and nothing extra shall be admisible on this account.) |
