Grading / clearing of work area and shifting of all obstruction within the ROU/ Pipeline route alignment corridor viz. electrical lines/ poles, telephone line / poles, foreign pipeline, etc. |
| 5 | Barricading the pipeline construction area prior to execution of the works as per drawings enclosed with tender document and to the entire satisfaction of Owner / Engineer-in-charge. |

| 23 | Trenching to all depths and to a width to accomodatethe carrier pipeline during lowering by excavation in all types of underground strata ( including soils, pebbels, cobbles, boulders, structures and all type of rockey strata) including raking up of built-up surface / Hard surface of any type including metal road/ surface, concrete road/ surface, bituminous road/ surface, asphalt road/ surface etc. which is breakable in pieces, shall be carried out either by breaking, chiselling or otherwise cutting etc manually or using pneumatic machine. Further raking up of built-up surface of any type includes tiled surface, paver block, brick lined etc.which is breakable/removable in pieces shall be carried out mannualy without using pneumatic machine. All tiles/ slabs/ paver block/ curb stones etc.removed during excavation shall be placed properly and storing excavated soil, reusable materials at designated area as directed by Engineer in charge and to a width to accommodate the pipeline as per the relevant standard/ specification etc. [The cover of pipeline shall be in between 1.0 meter to 1.5 meters depending upon site conditions and shall be measured from top of pipeline coating to the top of undisturbed surface of the soil or as per SCC/ relevant code, whichever is higher]. Dewatering of trenches if required as per site condition. Padding & Backfilling of the trench after lowering the pipeline.[However, restotaion of built-up surfaces shall be paid as separate items mentioned else where in the SOR]. |
| 24 | Installation / lowering the pipeline in restricted ROU and across all minor crossing viz. road, cart track, pathway, water bodies etc. (for which ROU width limit of the crossings are less than or equal to 15 meters) in all types of underground strata (including soils, pebbels, cobbles, boulders, structures and all type of rockey strata) which falls under proposed pipeline route are to be crossed by Open Cut Method, in trench to required depth as per PJS, Technical Specification & drawings and/or as per latest relevant Codes & Standards, Statutory Regulation, requirement of the local authority and providing required padding over and around the pipeline with sand/graded material approved by Engineer-In-Charge (in rocky areas / other area where pebbels, cobbles, boulders, structures, stone/metal chips available in soil strata ) including padding around pipeline with suitable soil duly approved by EIC including supply of padding material, backfilling and its compaction to the satisfaction of concerned authorities with excavatedearth / borrowed select soil including supply of borrowed select local soil duly approved by EIC before backfilling and make ready for restoration to be done by Owner / concerned authorities. However, supply of borrowed select local soil shall be paid as separate items mentioned else where in the SOR.[Incase of any conflict in requirement among PJS, Technical Specification, tender documents, drawings, latest relevant Codes & Standards, Statutory Regulation, requirement of the local authority, etc., the most stringent requirement shall govern, however decision of EIC in this regard shall be final and binding to the contractor.] |
| 25 | Supply of warning mat for all sizes of pipeline in multiple lot based on site condition/requirement and its installation over the entire length of the pipeline laid in open-cut trench as per specification. Warning mat for pipeline shall be supplied as per the technical specification enclosed in the bid document. The material of warning mat shall be of high density polyethylene and non-biodegradable type. It shall have non-toxic and anti-rodent properties. |

Execution of, but not limited to, following works in accordance with specifications and instruction of engineer-in-charge and as per all provision of Contract Document. |

However, payment for the fabrication, installation, NDT, other testing of Sectionliazing valve stations (Without Future Tap-off/With Future Tap-off) shall be made through separate items mentioned elsewhere in the SOR. Further, supply & installation of those items mentioned above, for which separate SOR item are not mentioned elsewhere in SOR, the same shall be deemed to be included in the above SOR items rates. |
