| 3 | Maintenance of pipe line irrespective of size and material which includes repairing of burst and leakages, pollution control, survey and removal of chocking, disconnection of illegal connection, collection and recording minimum 10 no\"s of residual chlorinesamples during daily supply timings, interconnections and all works related to pipe line network in existing distribution/rising main pipe line of all sizes by digging out suitable sizes pit in soft and loos soil/ hard soil including cutting of black top, WBM, CC top of road of any size at work site. This will also includes cutting of pipe ends, fixing of pipe piece with jointing material to make repair leak proof and refilling of pit with excavated sand by ramming of it by side of pipe and up to ground level. For entire job contractor wil use his own T&P. Contractor with his own resources shall arrange dewatering, JCB, & Tractor compressor, if required and restore any amenity at his own cost damaged while performing the work in this item. The works includes daily patrollingand repair of leakages within stipulated time and complete maintenance of piope line network of ising and distribution pipe line network within the scope of the work for per km pipe line per month. Jointing materrial shall be provided by the Department. |
