| 1 | M &L for Prepration of existing black top surfaceby brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc .and applying tack coat on existing bituminious to ensure a bond between the surface being paved and the overlaying course with bituminous primer (VG-10 grade) at the rate of5 Kg per 10 Sqm of surface complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 2 | M&L for laying premixed bitumineous macadamnot exceeding 75 mm thickness (compacted thickness) using hot mix plant and mechanical paver with 4% binder (paving grade bitumen VG-30 grade) content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted with power roller 8 to 12 tonnes to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed.Note-(i) Bituminious macadam shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper. (ii) The exact bitumen content required shall be determined as per IRC 27: 2009. The adjustment in rate due to variation in quantity of bitumen if any shall be priced at the rate of Rs50 per kg. |
| 3 | M&L for semi-dense bituminousconcrete30 mm (compacted thickness) using graded crushed stone aggregate premixed with binder (paving grade bitumen VG-30 grade) @ 5.5 % by weight of total mix &hydraulic lime filler ,rolled and compacted with power roller 8 to 12 tonnes to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note- (i) Semi dense Bituminious concrete shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper. (ii) The exact bitumen required shall be determined following the Marshell Mix design procedure contained in the Asphalt Institute Manual MS-2 (Sixth Edition) as referred in Case 3.5.3 of IRC 111:2009 . The adjustment in rate due to variation in quantity of bitumen if any shall be priced at the rate of Rs 50 per kg. |
| 4 | Repair to potholes any depth, not exceeding 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc., cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal), rolled and compacted with power roller 8 to 10 tonnes to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 5 | Providing and applying 2.5 mm thick road marking strips, centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arroow etc. (retro-reflective) of specified shade/ colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully or semi automatic thermo plastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surfaces including cost of material , labours, T &P , cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grase, and foreign material etc.complete all as specified and directed. |
| 6 | S&F in repairGlow studs (cat\"s eye) solar reflective of size 80 to 100mm X 80 to 100mm x 15 to 20 mm made of metal body alloy with PAMA striplens reflectors with abrasion resistant coating as approved by engineer in charge.the studs shall be fixed to the road surface using the adhesive conforming to IS as per procedure recommended by the manufacturer complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 7 | S&F in repair delineator as per model no. DA-952 GP of M/s Dark eye, ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 100 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on MS pipe of 50 mm duly powder coated , antirust, & anti-theft steel net including embedding 200 mm below ground level in PCC M15 (Nominal mix) with using 20 mm graded stone aggregate in foundation of size 250mm x 250mm x 250mm necessary excavation and making good surface complete all as specified and as directed. |
