Smart Periodical And Certain Misc Work In Otm/Md At Dronachal Under Ge Dronachal; 1.00 NOTE FOR ALL PAINTING ITEMS: -The work for periodical services shall include the following and the rates quoted by the bidders shall include the same:–(a) The work pertaining to periodical services shall be executed by the contractor as per MoU from authorised applicator through manufacturer of all the materials after approval by the GE.(b) The Contractor shall upload with the documents under cover I Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with at least one of the manufacturers mentioned in the contract, stating that “work will be done by the OEM’s machinery and their supervision and has OEM’s guarantee of minimum five years” failing which the bid shall be liable to be rejected.(c) Use of Scaffolding (in multi-storey building), trestles, ladders, cradles etc necessary for execution of work and protective measures.(d) Removing of Nails, making good holes, cracks etc(e) Work in patches and in narrow /widths, bands, cornices, plasters etc and cutting in edge of line where necessary.(f) Spreading and removing covering to doors, windows, floors, fittings etc to protect them from splashes.(g) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery, electric fittings, wirings etc. Drops and splashes of paint to be cleaned to the entire satisfaction of Engineer–in–Charge.(h) Sample patch of 10sqm be prepared considering all the items of periodical and shall be got approved from GE prior to carrying out further work. (j) Contractor shall deposit entire quantity of materials (proprietary materials) in sealed containers required for painting works covered under subject contract in the custody of Engineer-In-Charge/ Office in charge of unit.(k) Contractor shall submit certificate from OEM before processing each RAR stating that work was done with the OEM’s tools and material and has been done under their supervision.(l) The materials as required shall be issued to contractor by JE/ Engineer-In-Charge on daily basis and the empty containers/ bags shall be deposited in the store of Engineer -In-Charge by the contractor, for verification as per standard consumption/ coverage prescribed by the manufacturers. 2.00 M&L for complete removal of existing treatment by scrapping with mechanical wall sander (having mechanical vacuum mechanism) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of 80 Grit having dia of 7/9 to make the surface free from dust, loose paint etc. by skilled labour complete all as directed. 3.00 M&L for 2-3 mm thick wall care cement based putty on walls to prepare the surface even and smooth and filling the cracks, holes etc complete and sanding of the puttied surface with mechanical wall sander to make the surface free from dust etc complete all as specified and directed 4.00 Material & Labour of treated puttied surface on wall/ ceiling/ chajjas and applying one coat of acrylic water based exterior grade primer to be applied as per manufacturer specification with fully automatic airless spray machine of paint application with a flow speed of min 1 ltr per minute having presuure of 3300 PSI allow 6-8 hrs to dry the surface for painting of subsequent coats complete incl 2-3 mm thick wall care cement based putty on walls to filling the cracks, holes only where seen on wall surfaces etc complete all as specified and as directed. 5.00 Extra over rendering or plastering for work in isolated widths or in widths not forming part of general plastering such as in bands, sunk panels, cornices, skirtings, drip moulds, downward facia and similar work exc 15 cm but n exc 30 cm in width or girth; including cutting to edges, all mitres and stopped ends, etc. all complete as per requirement and direction of Engineer in-charge. (Note - work has to be executed in three storey bldg also and necessary arrangement for scaffolding etc are included in this item) 6.00 M&L for taking down plaster incl rendering 15 to 20 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in CM 1:4 on outer surface of wall/ bands, sunk panels, cornices, skirtings, drip moulds, downward facia and similar work and ceiling with WPC complete all as spd and directed. (WPC shall be measured and paid separately) (Note - work has to be executed in three storey bldg also and necessary arrangement for scaffolding etc are included in this item) 7.00 Supply only Integral water proofing compound complete all as specified and directed. 8.00 M&L for preparation of primed surface wall/ ceiling/ chajjas and applying two coats of exterior grade emulsion paint (weather coat) of approved tint to be applied with fully automatic airless spray machine of paint application as per manufacturer instruction and allow 6-8 hrs to dry the surface in subsequent coats of paint complete all as specified and as directed. 9.00 M & L for preparing of old distempered surface and applying one coat of oil bound distemper on surface of walls complete all as specified and directed. 10.00 M & L for preparing of old distempered surface and applying two coat of oil bound distemper on surface of walls complete all as specified and directed. 11.00 M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces of wood and wood based material of any description over 10cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified & directed. 12.00 M&L for preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description over 10cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint (approved tint) complete all as specified & directed. 13.00 M&L for preparation of old decorated plastered or unplastered surfaces and applying two coat of white wash on ceiling complete all as specified and directed. 14.00 Hacking out old broken glass of ( any thickness, size or quality from wooden or metal frame glazed with putty or beads/cleat etc complete 15.00 S&F 3mm thick figured glass with oil putty, ordinary quality not exc 0.5sqm in each pane complete all as specified. 16.00 S&F 3mm thick plain sheet glass fixed with oil putty, ordinary quality n exc. 0.5sqm in each pane complete all as specified. 17.00 Taking down cement plaster from brick or concrete surface incl raking out joints hacking for key and scrubbing down with water complete all as specified and directed. 18.00 M&L for rendering 10 mm thick on brick or concrete surfaces or surface other than fair faces of brick work in cement plaster 1:6, finished even and smooth w/o using extra cement all as specified and directed 19.00 M&L for preparing of newly plastered surface of walls and applying one layer of white putty and two coats of oil bound distemper over a coat of compatible primer etc complete all as specified and directed. 20.00 M&L for rendering 15 mm thick in two layers over brick work or concrete surfaces, 10mm thick in cement plaster 1:4 backing coat and 5mm thick in cement plaster 1: 4 mixed with WPC all as specified and directed. Note: WPC shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item. 21.00 M&L for preparation of newly plastered or unplastered surfaces in walls soffits, facia, chajjas and applying two coat of exterior weather proof water based emulsion over a coat of compatible primer complete all as specified and directed. 22.00 Taking down eaves gutters and rainwater pipes (any size or pattern), including all fittings,heads, shoes, bends, swan-necks,etc., including cleaning or refixing or removal to Store (measured overall as fixed along the centre line over fittings and accessories) 23.00 S&F 110mm dia PVC (SWR) pipe and single socketed in any length with rubber ring joint in floors or fixed to walls complete fittings incl clamps, bends, coupler,tee elbow etc required complete all as spd nd directed. 24.00 S&F 75mm dia PVC (SWR) pipe and single socketed in any length with rubber ring joint in floor or fixed to walls complete fittings incl clamps, bends, coupler,tee elbow etc required complete all as spd nd directed. 25.00 Taking down and refixing only in repair PVC SWR pipe 110mm dia incl clamps required all as specified and directed 26.00 Taking down and refixing only in repair PVC SWR pipe 75mm dia incl clamps required all as specified and directed
