Tender For Special Repairs To Certain E/M Installation At Afa Hyderabad; 1 Supply, lay, jointing and testing ductile iron pipes with spigot & socket ends of size 250 mm bore, class K9, centrifugally cast conforming to IS 8329 with cement mortar lining inside surface of pipe including suitable rubber gasket joints (Tyton joint), in any length, laid to level or to falls in trenches/on grounds/on support/stand complete all as specified and to the entire satisfaction of the Eng-in-Charge.MAKE : Tata/Jindal/Electrosteel/Shri Kalashakti. 2 S&F ductile iron fitting conforming to IS 9523, K 12, suitable for spigot and socket pipes/ Flanged type of class K9 up to 250 mm bore such as bends (any type radius and angle), tappers any type (straight bend increasing, decreasing or double socket etc), TEE pieces, Single branch, Y junction double branch, Cross collars, caps, plugs etc. including rubber gasket joints incl testing complete all as specified and to the entire satisfaction of the Eng-in-Charge. 3 Supply, install, commissioning & testing of CI Sluice Valve 250 mm bore, both ends flanged, class PN 1.6, ISI marked conforming to IS 14846:2000 with SS spindle and one number hand wheel including making new flanged joints with rubber gasket, necessary bolts, nuts, washers etc of suitable size complete all as specified and to the entire satisfaction of the Eng-in-Charge. MAKE : Leader/Kirloskar/Upadhyay/KARTAR 4 M&L for cutting the existing hardstanding/PCC/WBM road etc. surfaces at a depth of not less than 75 cm & 60 cm in width for laying of upto 250 mm dia DI Pipe incl returning filling in, complete incl finishing the surfaces by providing cement concrete type B1 (1:2:4) with 20 mm graded aggregate upto 20 cm, finishing to a uniform smooth surface & removal of surplus soil complete all as specified and as directed & to the entire satisfaction of Engr-In-Charge. 5 Excavation in trenches by mechanical or other means n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5m in depth for laying of pipe and getting out in hard dense soil old unsv Cables/Pipes incl connected items complete all as specified and as directed. 6 NOTE for Item No 4 & 5 : 1) The requirement of JCB (if any) for cutting the hard standing/PCC/WBM road surface or during earthwork is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates. 2) If any damage to any Cable of Air Force/BSNL/MES etc. or to any Pipe lines develops/occurs during execution of the works then the same shall be made good by the Contr to the entire satisfaction of the concerned Dept/Section & the costs of the same is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates.3) Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of clearing/removing/cutting of vegetation/tree branches/small to medium plantings/bushes etc. so as to facilitate successful completion of the work. No extra/addl payment shall be allowed to the Contr in this regard.4) Quoted rate is also deemed to be inclusive of the following & no extra payment shall be allowed on this account :(a) Cost of transportation of Manpower/Materials/Resources etc. to & from the complaint site.(b) Hiring Charge of items/equipments like JCB/Crane/Gas Cutter/Welding Machine/DG Set etc. required for succesful completion of the work/job.(c) Cost of run lead joint for rectification of leakage of CI pipelines.(d) Cost of taking down damaged/old unsv pipes incl fittings & cutting CI/DI pipes in position for insertion of new tees, branches etc.5) Any item/job missed out in the item description/specification but technically required for successful completion of the work/job is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates.6) The contractor/firm is required to visit the site prior to quoting of the subject items/ work so as to ascertain the actual ground requirements. Any further query at a later date shall not be entertained & responsibility of the same shall rest on the contractor/ firm. 7 Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm thick. 8 Removing of excavated material n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point. 9 M&L for construction of brick masonary valve pit of internal dimensions 1200 mm x 1200 mm x 1200 mm complete and fabrication of 4.0 mm thick MS Sheet cover and angle iron frame made out of 40mm x 40mm x 6 mm MS angle iron and one side provided with hinge with locking arrangement & duly painted with two coats of black bituminous paint over a coat of red oxide primer including necessary earth work and PCC work complete all as specified and to the entire satisfaction of the Engr-in-charge.
