Tender For Special Repair To Roads At Beas Mil Station Under Ge Kapurthala; 1 Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 Sqm and depth exceeding 50mm butnot exc 100 mm deep including removal of rubbish material out of the premises, complete, all as specified and directed. 2 M&L for 75 mm thickWBM (compacted thickness), with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 03 (50 to 20 mm size) in equal proportion, spread, rolled and consolidated with 8 to 12 ton power road roller or vibration roller of sufficient capacityto requiredgradient and camberusingtrap or basalt stone. complete, all as specified and directed. 3 All as per description of serial item No.2 above but except stone aggregate material. Note:- Stone aggregates retrieved from item No. 1 shall be used. 4 M&L for preparation ofWBM surfacess by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the clearedsurfaces by mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirt etcand applying evenly a priming/tack coatwith pavingbitumin VG-10@ 10 Kg per 10 sqm on prepared WBM surfaces and laying bituminious premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete, 40 mm thick (consolidated thickness) using binder (Bitumen VG-30) @ 5.5% by weight, mixed in hot mix plant and laid by using self propelled mechanical paver , rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient to achieve uniform smooth surface with power roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity or vibration roller of sufficient capacity, complete, all as specified and directed.Note: Mix shall be prepared in Hot mix plant as per job mix formula obtained from authorised testing lab and laying will be done by mechanical paver. 5 All as per description of serial item No. 4 above but 30 mm thick (consolidated thickness) bituminious premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete, 6 M& L for Preparing old existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the clearedsurfaces by mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirt etcand applying evenly a priming/tack coatwith pavingbitumin VG-10@ 5 Kg per 10 sqm on prepared old road surfaces and laying bituminious premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete, 30 mm thick (consolidated thickness) using binder (Bitumen VG-30) @ 5.5% by weight, mixed in hot mix plant and laid by using self propelled mechanical paver , rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient to achieve uniform smooth surface with power roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity or vibration roller of sufficient capacity, complete, all as specified and directed.Note: Mix shall be prepared in Hot mix plant as per job mix formula obtained from authorised testing lab and laying will be done by mechanical paver. 7 M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thickthermoplastic road marking paint in lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 15cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS-3262-1989 with special applicator machine using retroreflective glass beads @ 250 to 300 gram/Sqm,all as per manufacturers instruction a, complete, all as specified and directed. 8 M & L for repair to pot holes, any depth not exceeding 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water scoring sunken surfaces in roads path etc cutting around edges, at least 25 mm in depth and making good by applying tack coat using paving bitumen VG-10 @ 5 kg per 10 sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam well rammed and sealed with binder using paving bitumen @9.8 kg per 10 sqm blinded with 0.09 cum stone chipping 6.3 mm size and again well rammed ( including supply of premixed macadam binder and chippings) depth of pot hole exceeding 30mm complete all as specified and directed. 9 M&L for premix bituminous macadam laid , rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with 8 to 10 tone power roller ( consolidated thickness 75mm or less ) with paving bitumen VG-30 @4% by weight of total mix,complete all as specified and directed.
