(Compacted thickness) WBM with Granite, trap or Basalt, coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required using 8-12 tonne power road roller, complete all as specified and directed. 3 M&L for preparing unsurfaced / new water bound macadam(WBM) surfaces by brushing with Wire Brushes for removing Caked, Mud, etc., Sweeping with Brooms and finally Fanning the Cleaned Surface with Gunny Bags to remove all loose dirts, etc. Applying evenly a prime coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion SS1 confirming to IS: 8887 @ 0. 7-1 kg/sqm on surface of WBM as specified in Table 500-3 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer after cleaning of existing surface complete all as specified and directed . 4 M&L for premix bituminous macadam using paving bitumen of grade 30 Pack (VG-30) @ 4% by weight of total mixlaid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with 8 to12 tonne power road roller and rolled to a uniform smooth surface (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less), complete all as specified and as directed.Note: The contractors quoted rate shall be also be deemed to include the following elements:(i)The contractor shall get the mix design done through GOvt approved Lab and the same shall be got approved from the bitumen content from the GE mechanical hot mix plant and remixed material laid with mechanical paver,rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne power roller, complete all as specified and as
