The job involves providing comprehensive consultancy services for the planning and structural design of a building project titled “CONSTRUCTION OF ESSENTIAL INFRASTRUCTURE AT BHAGUR ADVANCED LANDING GROUND UNDER GE DEOLALI.” The consultant shall be responsible for the preparation and submission of complete structural designs and drawings vetted by IIT/ NIT, along with detailed structural calculations, strictly based on the architectural design and drawings supplied by the department. The scope further includes developing an appropriate construction methodology tailored to the site requirements and conditions. The consultant must specify all materials to be used for each item of the building work, including the labour component, and furnish detailed estimates for the building portion. Additionally, the consultant shall provide yardsticks for assessing and scheduling contractor payments and ensure that all estimates and documentation adhere to applicable standards and codes. The deliverables must include structural drawings, calculation sheets, material specifications, rate analysis, and a payment schedule framework, all compiled in both hard and editable soft copy formats.. . General conditions: STRUCTURAL DESIGN AND DRAWINGS(a)Analysis and design of the structure as per latest IS codes in design software BIM (b) Preparation of structural drawings including all details in AUTOCAD including original prints in tracing papers A1 size and submission of 5 sets of ammonia prints /white prints and one set of drawings in soft copy, copied in CD (all drawings shall be drawn to a suitable scale and shall not be printed in \"fit to scale\" mode. Scale shall be clearly mentioned in the drawings. The preferred scales are as follows:(i) Main Plan 1:100/150 (ii) Details of component 1 : 25 (iii) Minor details / cross-sections of columns and beams, etc. 1: 10 (iv) Vetting of design and drawings from IIT/NIT scanned in PDF format(v) Submission of design folder (one set each of soft copy and hard copy), details of calculations, one hard copy of architectural and structural drawings, softcopy of all architectural drawings and structural drawings in AUTOCAD as well as soft copies of signed and certified.

Notes:(a) Design shall be carried out by qualified structural engineers using BIM (latest version) software. (b) All designed structural drawings duly vetted by IIT/NIT. (c) All provisions in the IS codes shall be strictly adhered and followed (d)The drawings shall be got approved from HQ CE Pune Zone before taking final prints .(e) The consultant shall be liable to attend the discussions and tender presentation after submission of drawings and issue required amendments drawings / corrections as directed by the Department without any extra cost. The rates quoted herein shall include the cost of any such drawings or rendering (f)The Consultant shall also visit the proposed site before carrying out design if required by him without any extra cost to the Department(g) Consultant will submit proof of payment work to IIT/NIT along with invoice raised by IIT/NIT. (h) Consultant shall also give clarification if any on design aspects during execution of work if referred by Department.

(j) Consultant shall coordinate with the various sections viz E6, E2(D), E4 and E2 (plg), E8 sections of HQ CE Pune Zone before finalizing various activities viz preparation of Structural drawingand drawings. (k) Consultant shall also give clarification if any on design aspects during execution of work if reffered by department. 20% of the total amount to be retained and paid only after issue of completion certificate by GE.
