Tender For Miscellaneous Structural Steel Works In Factory And Township Area; 2 Structural steel work excluding cost of structural steel but including de-rusting in rolled steel, joists, channels,angles, tees, flats, plates,chequred plates, pipes, cat ladders, built-up/compound sections in columns, portals, girders, beams,bracings, trusses, walk ways etc. includinggussetplates of required shape and size, fasteners, rivetting/bolting/welding at shop or work site at all heights and levels above or below ground level completeas per drawing/site requirements and directions of Engineer-in-Charge : 3 Only fabrication. 4 Only erection and alignment. 5 Primer painting with red oxide zink chromate paint as per IS: 2074 per coat including supply of paint. ( The primer paint shall be applied on the steel work explained at sl no 1.01 and sl. No. 1.02) 6 Fabricating, aligning and fixing MS pipe hand railings (medium grade) including all joints, bends, elbows, tees, plates etc. and specials as required/all welded together & fixed in position with up rightmembers upto1.50 Mtr. height of 32mm dia. pipe welded/supporting the hand rails, made of32 mm dia. pipe top rail and 25 mm dia. Pipe middle rail or as directed by Engineer- in-Charge including supplying & applying two coats of approved paint over one coat of red oxide zink chromate primer all complete as per site requirement andinstructions of Engineer-in charge excluding the cost ofthe pipes,fittings, and specials which will be supplied free of cost by NFL at its stores. 7 Dismantling the structural steelof any section at allheights including removal of all gusset plates, base plates, lacing, nuts, bolts, cutting, rivets/welding etc.,stacking separately the serviceable and unserviceable materials and cartage of the same from site to fabrication shop or stores as required complete as per directionsofEngineer-in-Charge. 8 Only transportation of already dismantled/collected Steel/ structural Steel fromb anywhere in the Plant/township area to the Fabrication Shop / Stores including loading/unloading on hand cartsetc. complete.. 9 Welding in structural steel of any section/cutting with gas cutter of any section at all heights as per site requirements anddirections ofEngineer-in-Charge 10 Structural steel work (excluding cost of structural steel) including derusting fabrication, erection, hoisting and fixing in position in rolled steel joists, plates, chequered plates, tees, angles, channels flats etc. in cat-ladders, built up sections/compound sections in columns, portals, girders, beams, bracings, trusses, walkways etc., including gusset plates fasteners, riveting, bolting/ welding at shop or site of work at all heights/levels above or below ground levels including supplying and applying one coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer and two coats of approved quality of paint (chlorinated rubber paint) complete as per site requirements and directions of Engineer-in-Charge(Structural steel shall be supplied free of costbyNFL at its stores). 11 Same asitem no. 6 above, but including the cost ofstructural steel which shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost from open market. 12 Removal/RefixingofcoversofMS sheet, structural steel gratings, heavy RCC covers etc.,from/on drains/pits/valve chambers/trenches etc. complete as per site requirements and directions of Engineer-in-Charge 13 Repair/rectification/modification of steel doors / windows/ ventilators/grills andgrating covers including cutting the damaged portion/welding the additional sections or welding the additional sections or welding the panels etc.,wherever required as per site requirements & directions of Engineer-in-Charge ( Finished area of doors/windows/ventilators as obtained after modification / rectification/repair shall be measured for the purpose of payment. 14 Providing and fixing/replacing 27.5 cm. long wire spring Grade 1 & 2,suitable to the existing rolling shutters including removal of the old damaged wire spring wherever required complete as per site requirements and directions of Engineer-in-Charge 15 Same as Item No.11 above but wire spring of grade 3 & 4 16 Providing andfixing/replacinggood qualityball-bearingof required size and shape suitable for the existing rolling shutters including removal ofthe old damaged ball bearing wherever required as per site requirements and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. 17 Repair/maintenanceof rolling/collapsible shutters of any size including oiling, greasing, derusting, opening of top covers and refixing the same for keeping the shutters in good running condition for one time for the shutter,complete as per site requirements and directions of Engineer-in-Charge (the contractor has to repair the shutter free of cost if it gets out of order within three months of its repair.) 18 Repair/maintenance/adjustment of aluminium doors by adjusting the position of floors springs top spintles etc. including proper alignment of doors and replacing the broken screws etc., oiling, greasing and adjusting the floor springs, pivets etc. complete as per site requirements and directions of Engineer-in-Charge for smooth functioning of the doors.The contractor has torepair the doors free of cost if it gets out of order within three months of its repair. 19 Providing and fixing/replacing aluminum beading/ snap beading/ fittings,screw less type for holding the glass panes excluding the cost of hard rubberchannels wherever required aspersite requirements and directions ofEngineer-in-Charge. 20 Providing and fixing double action hydraulic type floor spring, ISI mark,including top plate, and removing the defective floor spring , with all necessary screws etc. complete with oiling and greasing as per site requirements & directions of Engineer-in-Charge : 21 a ) for heavy door shutters. 22 b ) for light door shutters. 23 Providing and fixing /replacing top spindle/pivot of aluminum doors matching with the same as per existing spindles provided as per existing spindles as per site requirements and directions of Engineer-in-Charge for all types of Aluminum doors. 24 Supplying and fixing rolling shutters of approved make made of 80 x 1.25 mm MS laths interlocked together through their entire length and jointed together at the end by end locks mounted on specially designed pipe shaft with brackets, side guides and arrangements for inside and outside locking with push and pull operation complete including the cost of providing and fixing necessary 27.5 cm. long wire spring grade no. 2 and MS top cover 1.25 mm thick for rolling shutters. 25 Extra over item no.19 for providing mechanical device chain and crank operation for operating rolling shutters : 26 a) Exceeding 10.00 Sq.M. and upto 16.80 Sq.M. in area. 27 b) Exceeding 16.80 Sq.m. in area. 28 Fixing/Repair of chain link fencing 1.20 Mtr. high to MS angle post with GI wire, J hooks etc. complete wherever required as per directions ofEngineer-in-Charge (Only chain link fencing will be issued free of cost by NFL and all other materials will be arranged by the contractor ). 29 Repair/re-erection/straightening, tightening of barbed wire fencingat ground level or at top of boundary wall including stapling the same with posts and studs wherever required. 30 Providing and fixing/replacing hard rubber cahannels including removing the existing hard rubber from aluminium doors and vetilators . 31 Supplying and fixing fully glazed (15 micron) electrostatic powder coated (25 of approved shade) Aluminum doors/windows Indal or approved equivalent make extruded tubular aluminum section of minimum 2.50 mmthickness & 6.3 mm laminated safety glass fixed with rubber lining & anodized aluminum beading including fixing the frame to masonry/RCC with 16 mm wide 8.2 mm thick 100 mm x 70 mm galvanized L shaped slotted steel lugs screwed to the frame @ 600 mm maximum by counter sunk galvanized machine screws and fixed to masonry by grouting with M-15 grade concrete in minimum150 mm x150 mm x 50 mm size hole/96mm long 12 mm dia. dashfasteners, finishing and making good of any damaged work etc. all complete including making hole in the walls wherever required :Aluminum glazed door/window/ventilator (openable or fixed) with cup pivots of aluminium alloy conforming to IS designation NS-4 of IS 737 and IS designation A-5 M ofIS:617 and / IS: 2209 with aluminium handle on both sides, tower bolt, sliding bolt, safety lock and all fittings etc .complete for each shutter with plain anodized aluminum sections. 32 Replacement of individual aluminium members with new aluminium members only, specifications as explained under item no 24.00. 33 PART B 34 ProvidingMiscellaneousservicesof manpower for emergenciesand unmeasurableworks : 35 a) Technician/FitterBidder must not quote the rate below Rs. 883.50 for this item else the bid shall be rejected 36 b) HelperBidder must not quote the rate below
