| 1 | Supply installation, testing and commissioning of diesel engine driven generating set 415 V, 3 phase, 4 wire as per BS 5514/IS-10002 as per existing CPCB-IV norms complete with standard control panel, of capacity continuous rating 250 KVA/200 KW at NTP conditions with acoustic enclosure and canopy coverconsidering all derating factors and comprising of the following :-(a) ALTERNATOR : Self regulated with brushless self excitation 250 KVA, 415 V, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 HZ, 0.8 P.F.,1500 RPM, with voltage variation plus or minus 2.5% of rated voltage from no-load to full-load foot mounted, screen protected drip proof type with class \"F\" insulation, closed coupled single bearing alternator, with necessary controls as recommended by the manufacturers, conforming to BS-5000/IS-4772, capable of supplying unbalanced load.(b) Engine : Multi/cylinder,compression ignition, heavy duty,compact diesel engine liquid cooled with standard accessories, all as per BS-5514/ISO-3046,1500 RPM,control gauges, RPM/Hours meters etc; shaft H.P. suitable for generating application and capable of giving an output of 250 KVA/200 KW for coupled alternator under NTP conditions, complete with following:-(i) Flywheel housing with flywheel to suit closed coupled single bearing alternator. (ii) Air-cleaner dry type with vacuum indicator.(iii) Fuel pump and fuel piping 15mm M.S. pipe with bends, flanges etc.(iv) Fuel filter with water separator and filter element.(v) Lub-oil filter with filter element (vi) D.C. starter 24 volts. (vii) Storage Batteries of suitable voltage and ampere-hours as recommended by the manufacturers.(viii)Residential silencer as per existing CPCB IV norms (ix)Supporting/fixing arrangement for muffler with celiling through antivibration pads. (x) Engine overspeed stop/trip switch. (xi) Radiator with fan.(xii) Dynamo for battery charging.(xiii) Corrosion inhibitor coolant. |
| 2 | (xiv) Engine control panel electronic digital display type consisting of battery voltage indicator, lub oil temp and pressure gauges coolant water temp gauge, RPM indicator cum hour meter etc.(xv) Safety controls for alarm due to high water temp (HWT) and low lub oil pressure (LLOP).(xvi) Any other devices/accessories recommended/supplied by the manufacturers as standard eqpt.(c) SKID : The engine and alternator will be coupled,aligned and mounted on a specially designed common base frame fabricated from M.S. channels of suitable cross sectional area and length with bottom drilled holes suitable for and including supplying and fixing anti vibration pads of required size and numbers as recommended by the manufacturers for mounting of 250 KVA/200 KW DG set.(d) AMF Panel : AMF panel shall be of suitable size factory made outdoor cubical type front openable fabricated from CRCA steel sheet 1.6 mm thick (Panel should be made seperately not fixing inside the DG Set) complete as per manufacturer specification of Diesel Engine suitable for DG Set of capacity 250 KVA grouted in floor by providing PCC 1:2:4 type B-2 foundation of suitable size as per manufacturers recommendations complete in all respects and consisting of the following :-(i) Contactor ML of suitable capacity.(ii)Aluminium bus bar of capacity 600 Amps (04 Nos) for phase and neutral.(iii) Sensitivity relay set unit with auxiliary relay CT\"s. (iv)Electronic latch circuit with tripping indication. (v)Instantneous tripping device suitable for complete panel over current 0.5 Amp. (vi) Reset facilities for complete protection of AMF Panel.(vii)Self squential starting relay unit 24 volts DC complete with alarm and power contactor. (viii) Electronic timer 220 Volts formain contactor with 1 No NC auxiliary contactor. |

(xiii)Digital volt meter 0-500 volts panel mounting type size 96square mm with digital selector switch.(xiv)3 Phase electronic energy meter for measuring meter for measuring generated units.(h) Documents : Three sets of following documents :- Maintenance and operation manuals for engine and alternator, spare parts catalogue, warranty/test certificates, schematic diagrams of control panels.(j) other items : List of tools and two years normal maintenance spares as per manufacturers recommended lists, duly priced, item wise. Notes :(i) Contractor will satisfactorily conduct load test ofDG set for 12 hours including run on 10% overload for 1 hour.(ii) Testing equipment will be arranged by the contractor.(iii) Fuel/oil required for load test shall be arranged by the contractor and cost thereof is deemed to be included in quoted rate by the contractor.(iv) AMF panel and DG set shall be procured from same OEM i.e make of both shall be same.(v) DG set shall be tested by the representative of Accepting Officer before commisioning and cost thereof deemed to be included in quoted rates.(vi) The foundation of DG set shall be provided as per manufacturer\"s drawing / instructions and quoted rate shall deemed to be included for this provision and nothing extra shall be admmisible on this account.(vii) Contractor shall submit e-way bill, Purchase Voucher, Test certificate/ Test report etc alongwith payment. |

| 7 | M & L for earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode of size 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically at a depth not less than 2.25 mtr below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate at depth not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level surrounded from all sides by 15 cm thick and packed layer of charcol dust and common salt filling in alternate layers and electrode connected by galvanised iron strip 32 mm x 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts andwashers connected to test termination point protected by 15 mm bore GI pipe light grade and GI pipe lightgrade 20mm bore for watering and including funnel, wire mesh, RCC pit cover and PCC chamber pit with PCC 1:2:4 type B1 including excavation and earth work, disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr all as specified and shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part I, complete all as specified and directed. Note-: (i) The unit rate shall include for GI water pipe, protection pipe wire mesh, funnel, excavation, RCC pit cover, PCC, test point, GI strip 32 X 6 mm from top of earth plate upto 7.5 m.(ii)PCC pit shall be provided at least 1.5m away from the earth pit and extra cost of additional length of water pipes and fixing junction, Elbows etc.shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.(iii) RCC pit cover shall be precast of RCC 1:2:4, type B-1, 80 mm thick reinforced with XPM weighing not less than 4kg/Sqm in lieu of cast iron cover.Note:- On testing after completion of earthing if the desired earth resistance is not obtained earthing will be re-done by the contractor at his own risk & cost to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. |
