EMPANELMENT CONSULTANCY FIRMS FOR A PERIOD OF 5 YEARS (WITH AN EXTENSION OF 2 YEARS AFTER SATISFACTORY COMPLETION OF THE INITIAL 3 YEARS) FOR OBTAINING FOREST DEPARTMENT NOC AND COMPLIANCE SERVICES RELATED TO PROJECTS ON FOREST LAND AND ADJOINING FOREST AREAS WITHIN THE JURISDICTION OF PANVEL MUNICIPAL CORPORATION (PMC).- 1 FIRMS FOR VARIOUS CONSULTANCY SERVICES 2 1) Category 1 – Forest Proposal Compliance (Lands upto 1 Hectares till DFO Approval)Survey, demarcation, and map preparation of forest land, private forest land, land adjacent to forest areas, or any other land as defined under the Forest Conservation Act, 1980 (as amended), National Forest Policy, 1988, Wildlife Protection Act, 1972, Forest Rights Act, 2006, or as otherwise specified by Panvel Municipal Corporation along with preparation of forest proposals in compliance with applicable regulations; and coordination for obtaining necessary permissions from the Divisional Forest Officer (Alibag). 3 2) Category 2 – Forest Proposal Compliance (Lands below 5 Hectares)Survey, demarcation, and map preparation of forest land, private forest land, land adjacent to forest areas, or any other land as defined under the Forest Conservation Act, 1980 (as amended), National Forest Policy, 1988, Wildlife Protection Act, 1972, Forest Rights Act, 2006, or as otherwise specified by Panvel Municipal Corporation along with preparation of forest proposals, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and obtaining permissions for land parcels below 5 hectares from the competent authorities. 4 3) Category 3 – Forest Proposal Compliance (Lands above 5 Hectares)Survey, demarcation, and map preparation of forest land, private forest land, land adjacent to forest areas, or any other land as defined under the Forest Conservation Act, 1980 (as amended), National Forest Policy, 1988, Wildlife Protection Act, 1972, Forest Rights Act, 2006, or as otherwise specified by Panvel Municipal Corporation along with preparation of forest proposals, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and obtaining permissions for land parcels above 5 hectares from the competent authorities.
