| 2 | Comprehenshive maintenance and cleaning of sewage system including sewage lines, manholes, soakage wells/soak-pits, gully traps, septic tanks attending bloakages in WCs/ WHBs/Drains etc by employing necessary resources including T&P at 14 GTC Subathu complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. The location/ building/complex where work is to be carried out consist of the following:-(a) OTM and Md Accn of GE Subathu complex. (b) Kalidhar line.Area. (c) 15 No Area. (d)Gurubaksh line. (e) Old PAO Area (f) CRSSubathu Complex. (g) Officer mess Complex. (h) Station HQ SubathuOTM & Md accn. (i) Officers Quarters and Officers Messes in Subathu Mil Stn. and all rect company, ASI, all OTM and MDAccn of 14 GTC subathu. |
| 3 | NOTES:- for above Item No. 01.00:(i) The Contractor will employ a Supervisor and sufficient Nos of sweeper daily including on Sunday and Holiday for carrying out sewage cleaning work. to give feed back and also to receive day to day sewage complaints and necessary instructions for smooth running of the contract. The Supervisor so employed shall report to the concerned JE daily, collect complaint docket from concerned JE, distribute it to the sweepers and collect the docket after completion of complaint.(ii) He will carry out normal maintenance to sewage system as required at site. (iii) For any default/delay in attending the complaints recovery shall be effected as per contract conditions provided here-in-after. (iv) T & P as requiered for the work shall be arranged by the contractor without any extra cost to the deptt. (v) Supervisor engaged by the contractor shall take all necessary preventative safety measures and adequate precautions to avoid any health hazard and department shall not be held responsible for any unwanted incidence.(vi) Docket duly signed the user shall be produced at the time of claiming payment by the contractor. |
| 4 | Material and labour for dewatering and cleaning of septic tank of various capacities by taking out solid or liquid mud/sludge/debris/broken bricks of any depth and location, in foul/non foul conditions, including inlet and out chambers, sludge chambers and baffle walls, taking out old broken bricks ofsoakage well any size by mechanically/ manual means, removal of sludge, scum and effluent, transportation of waste and final disposal as per environmental norms complete all as specified and directed.Note ;- Following procedure shall be adopted during the cleaning of septic tank:- a) The area surrounding the septic tank shall be barricaded and safety signs displayed prior to starting of work. b)Sludge and wastewater shallbe pumped out completely using sludge pumps or manually, solid waste and sludge shall be collected in containers or tanker, inner wall shall be cleaned properly through jet.c) Effluent, Sludge and solid waste shall be disposed outside defence landas per environmental norms. The waste shall be disposed of by excavating borrow pits and dumped waste shall be covered with soilas per environmental norms . d) Payment shall be made only for quantity of solid sludge removed and disposed as measured in cum. No separate payment shall be made for pumping out water or effluent and its disposal. e) Contractor shall also write date of cleaning on the surface of septic tank using synthetic enamel paint ( white background with black colour letter 100mm high), rate of the same shall be included in quoted rate. |
| 5 | Material and labour for Brick work with sub class ‘B’ bricks in one brick thick honey comb walling in circular/rectangular well (soakage pit) steining (any radius or size) constructed from base, built in cement mortar (1:4), using old size bricks and including dismantling of old brick work, complete all as specified. |
