Tender For Repair To Certain Misc B And R And E And M Items At Air Force Station Khasa Under Age (I) Af Amritsar; 1 M&L for preparation of surface by removal of any type of existing roof treatment (brick tiles, mud Phuska, PCC, tar felt etc) in any number of layer up to original RCC roof top slab surface, including demolition of PCC coping etc and cleaning the surface with wire brush,and other necessary tools , disposal of debris outside the defence land, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. then surface shall be primered with Smart care two component , high solid, epoxy resin based floor primer of asian paints or equivalent make, to seal the pores and enhance the ashesion of coating , supply and applying single component water proofing liquid membrane based on pure elastomeric polyurethane resin smartcare PU Magnum US , cold applied of spray / brush applied , membrane with an elongation of > 600% and tensile strength of 3-4 Mpa as per ASTM D412 , crack bridging ability of 3mm as per ASTM C1305 , no leakage upto 5 bars of water pressure as per DIN 1048 , shore A hardness > 50 shore as per ASTM D 2240 . The minimum thickness to be applied shall be 1.5 mm along with protectiveGeotextile fabric 150 GSM over the entire membrane with proper overlaps of 75mm before application of Brick tiles all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.Note :- (i)Ponding test shall be done after application of material and the cost is deemed to be inclusive. In case oif any leakage/failure the complete area of roof be treated again without any extra cost.(ii)The work of water proofing will be carriedout by authorized representative/applicator of the Manufacturer The necessary documents in this regard will be submitted & got approved from the Engineer-in-Charge before commencement of work. 2 Note:-(a) Appliaction of water proofing treatment will be done by Authorised Applicator only as per MOU between tenderer and manufacturer of PU liquid water proofing membrane and their authorized appliactor complete all as specified and directed.(b) The contractor shall upload MOU between tenderer and manufacturer of PU liquid water proofing membrane and their authorized applicator at thje time of sample approval.Make : Asain Paints/ Berger paints/Sika/BASF/Pididlite/Dr. Fixit as per appendix attached .The Make shall be of same manufacturer of which the MOU signed and submitted by contractor. No change of make/ manufacturer other than MOU shall be allowed without the prior approval of Accepting officer.(c) Shifting/ removing of any wire/ cable/ AC unit or other any object as per site requirement and re-fixing the same if needed is deemed to be included in the rate quoted by the contractor.(d) Total removal of vegetation/creepers/small plants/ roots from the top of the bldgs to facilitate the work of treatment is also deemed to be included in the rate of contractor. 3 M&L for brushing neat cement slurry with 3.0 kg per sqm complete all as specified and directed. 4 M&L for Cement concrete type B-2 (1:2:4) using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in roof padding/floor subbase to maintane slope correction of the depresses/ undulation portion complete all as specified. 5 M & L for providing cement concrete type B1 1:2:4 (20 mm graded aggregate) in roof, Kerb or mud stops, rounded chamfered on edges before treatment of roof surface all as specified and directed by EIC. 6 Material and Labour, 40mm thick brick tiles laid on and including 15 mm thick cement screed bed in CM (1:4) using grey cement laid on concrete roof and joints of the tiles should be grouted and flush pointed using polymer based cementous tile grout, complete all specified and directed. 7 All a per Srl item No 05 abovebut except tiles (old serviceable dismantled tiles obtained from Srl item No 1.00 shall be reused after necessary cleaning of mortar) 8 M&L for Dismantling of CI/PVC pipe of any dia fixed with cement joint. 9 S & F 150 mm PVC (SWR) pipe single socket in any length with rubber ring joints fixed in walls or floors all as specified and directed. 10 S&F PVC (SWR) bends with access door for 150 mmbore of pipe complete all as specified and as directed. 11 Disconnecting existing tank capcity 500 ltrssetting aside (or lowering if required ) for repair , cleaining, etc and hosting if requiredreconnecting and re-fixing in postion. (Cleaning reparing etc measured sepratly) 12 M&L for Demolition of cement concrete in any position and any description upto 9.5 m height including all necessary arrangements complete all as specified and directed. 13 M&L for Demolition of reinforced cement concrete in any position and any description including cutting of reinforcement bars with electric tools to facilitate demolition complete all as specified and directed. 14 Demolition of brick work builtin cement mortar incl all quoins, arches, pillars etc complete all as specified and directed . 15 M&L, Brick work with sub class B bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius built in CM 1:4complete all as specified and as directed. 16 Material and labour for taking down cement plaster of any description on brick walls/ceiling , etc including raking out joints , hacking for key scrubbiong down with water etc complete all as specified 17 Material and labour for 15mm thick cement plastering on fair faces in cm 1:4 on brick or concrete surfaces fair finished the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement but with using water proofing compound upto height 12 mtr complete all as specified and directed by engineer in charge 18 M&L for preparing new plastered surface and applying three coats of whitewash on plastered surface of wallsall specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. 19 M&L for rendering 20mm thick cement plaster in layer of (15+5mm) on concrete surfaces in cement mortar (1:4) in small patches and repairs at columns, chajja, canopy , slab base,parapet walls and soffits finished even and smooth without using extra cement using GI chiken wire mesh having dia( 0.71mm and mesh size of 12mm) upto a height of 9m as directed including taking down of plaster , & necessary scaffolding arrangement as required at site complete all as specified and directed. 20 Material and labour for applying two coats of Acrylic weather coat emulsion paint on new/old plastered walls/ceiling/facias/ramp Surface etc in disruptive pattern having percentage of Six- colour as 29.04% of RGB Value (143, 152, 113), 22.48% of RGB Value (112,139,86), 14.98% of RGB value (123,137,126), 13.80% of RGB Value (84,97,75), 14.15% of RGB Value (123, 137, 94) and 5.55%of RGB Value (206,193,141) as per sample approved by AGE(I) for building of height upto 7.5 meter, over and including a coat of alkali resistance primer complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The rate quoted by contractor is demmed to include preparation of surfaces and necessary scaffolding for painting upto required height. 21 Material and labour for providing chemical earthingof advance system of Copper pipe Chemrode 3 mtrs long 50mm dia and inner strip of copper as earthing electrode sand filled with conducting concrete back fill compounds with the permanent sealings at both the ends. Top of the earth electrode shall be compressed to form an extended lead with 2 holes for connecting the strip 25x4 mm to the load. To ensure the moisture content and electrical conductivity,each earthing pit shall be provided with minimum 03 bags of 25 kgs chemical compound. An arrangement for connection of copper cable suitable size from rod to be made with given Terminal point with SS Nut Bolts, provision of polymer chamber with cover, including necessary excavation in any type of soil, returning, filling in, removal of surplus soil, the desired value of resistance shouldbe less than 1 Ohm, Entire work will be executed by OEM, complete all as specified and as directed. 22 S&F Air termination single pointed aluminum rod 12 mm dia and 300 mm long completeall as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge 23 M&L for aluminium strip 25 x3.15 mm with porcelain saddles and fixing screws etc for roof conductors and down conductors above ground for lightening conductor complete with epoxy base insulators till centre of earth pitall as specified and as directed by Engr-in- Charge 24 M&L for Shifting of Split type Air Conditioning Indoor and outdoor unit from existing location to MES Store yard and refixing the same after roof treatment complete all as directed including taking down all electric connections and refixing the same with refill of gasat site with necessary transportaion complete all as specified and directed. 25 Note: The Total amount shall subject to adjustment of credit for old Materials as per Schedule of Credit.
