Item No.1 : Carrying out the overall control on the canal/Dy/BC/Minor/CR gates by providing unskilled personnels to assist Canal Inspector/ departmental staff including watch and ward of canal and operation and regulation of CR , escapes, HR, Outlet gates and ensuring safety of canal/ gates from overflow, breaching , damages to gates, unauthorised opening, ,maintaining gauge record/ guages, keeping good communication with canal officers in day / night during rotation period over particular stretch of canal etc complete as directed by engineer in-charge.
