Tender For Providing And Fixing Road Safety Materials At Amd Er Jamshedpur; 1 Providing and fixing Glow studs of size 100x20 mm made of heavy duty body shall be moulded ASA (Acrylic styrene Acryloretrite ) or HIP (High impact polystyrene) or ABS having electronically welded micro- prismatic lens with abrasion resistant coating as approved by Engineer in charge. The glow stud shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The slope of retro- reflective surface shall be 35 (+/-5) degress to base. The reflective panels on both sides with at least 12 cm of reflective area up each side. The luminance intensity should be as per the specification and shall be tested as described in ASTM I: 809 as recommended in BS: 873 part 4 : 1973. The studs shall be fixed to the Road surface using the adhesive conforming to IS, as per procedure recommended by the manufacturer complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. 2 Providing and fixing post delineators made of ABS round body fitted with 2 nos 100 mm dia high reflective reflectors and mounted on MS pipe of 65 mm dia duly powder coated anti-rust and anti theft steel to be installed as per direction of Engineer-in-charge The amount is inclusive of providing, fixing inclusive all material required for fixing, labour, transport complete. 3 Providing and fixing of a series of raised Polyurethane Rumbler strips across a road or along its edge, changing the noise a vehicles tyres should be fixed on the surface and so warning drivers of speed restrictions or of the edge of the road. Rumble Strip is made out of special PU (Poly Urethane) material. Dimension of one strip: should be L: 500 mm, W: 100 mm, Thickness/Height-: 15 mm approx. One meter constitutes of 2 pcs. Rumble strip is available In Yellow & black combination for better visibility from a long Distance. 5 Nos. of Nails are used in per pc for installation on road. Each section shall have a minimum of 5 bolts/anchors pre-drilled holes with application of epoxy to secure the rumbler strip to RCC/PCC/Asphalt. The amount is inclusive of providing, fixing inclusive all material required for fixing, labour, transport complete. 4 Providing & fixing Plastic Speed Bump is designed so dynamically and compact that it can bear maximum load on it. Plastic Speed bump is made out of High-Density Poly Ethylene (HDPE) plastic material. It is UV Stabilized so it doesn’t fade in sunlight. Four highly reflective reflectors are molded in PMMA material are welded with PE base plate through ultrasonic welding process and then fixed on the speed bump so that dust and water cannot touch the reflector’s inside area and thus it maintains its reflectivity for a long time. The top surface of the speed breaker is flat in order to support the vehicles from jerking or skidding. 6 Nos. metallic nails are used per pc for installation on road. Available in Yellow & Black Colours. One meter constitutes 2 pcs. Dimensions of the Speed Bump L= 500 mm: W= 365mm: H= 50mm.(approx.). Each section shall have a minimum of 6 bolts/anchors pre-drilled holes with application of epoxy to secure the speed hump to RCC/PCC/Asphalt. The amount is inclusive of providing, fixing inclusive all material required for fixing, labour, transport complete. 5 Providing & fixing of all weather UV stabilized (it may not get discoloured for a long time) Traffic Road Safety Cone made out of PE with fluorescent orange colour and EVA is used to increase flexibility. Safety Cone be flexible and durable that if any vehicle hits Cone may not break easily and also not damage any part of the vehicle. One band of Reflective Sleeve of 9” width be used around the cone to give maximum reflection during night time. Four Slots on Top of the Cones is provided to fix Plastic Chain / Rope etc. to divide the lane.An in- built heavy rubber base is provided so safety cone will not fall easily due to speedy wind flow pressure or minor vehicle hit. The rubber base of the cone is inserted and molded with injection molding process and not be glued or fixed with screws from outside. The dimension Height – 1000 mm, Square Base – 385 mm x 385 mm approximately. Weight of the Safety Cone be 5 Kg approx. 6 General Note- 1. Contractor shall inspect the site to acquaint with the site condition as welll as security condition at AMD.2. The rates shall include cost of tools and tackles, manpower including wages, liveries, all wastage and taxes, GST, labour cess, income tax etc, as applicable but exclusive of EPF & ESI. EPF & ESI are reimbursible as per relevant clause.
