    Quotation For The Fabrication Of 18 Nos Of Reinforced Concrete Anchors (Blocks), From The Interested Parties Are Invited By The Director Of Fisheries CONSTRUCTION MANUAL / GUIDE LINES FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF RCA (FAD ANCHOR) Construction of RCA (FAD anchor) an exact mixture of Cement, Sand, Metals & Water should essential. The mixing ratio such as 1x2x4 i.e. one bag cement, two bag sand & four bag metals with appropriate quantity of water. This block should have the size of 1 mtrs width, 60 cm height and weight of 2000kg. A cage of 85 cm length, 85 cm width, 45cm height should be constructed with 10mm iron bar to reinforcing with concrete, the spacing of bar should not exceed 30 cm horizontally and 22cm vertically. No bars should be closer than 7.5cm to any external surface. Anchor bail/ mooring hook should be attached to centre of the cage and lock the both ends/ wings with iron bars. Mooring eye of anchor bail must be 15cm (6 inches) and also ensure the anchor bail correctly positioned in the block so that the connecting shackle could be able to pass through the eyes.
