Tender For Comprehensive Redesign Of Assi Ravidass Road Enhancing Mobility, Accessibility, And Urban Infrastructure - Upgradation of Road Work 2 Dismantling of existing pavement (bituminous course) by mechanical means and disposal of dismantled material upto a lead of 1km, as per direction of engineer in charge. 3 Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to a depth of 50mm and disposal of scarified material within all lifts and leads upto 1km (by mechanical means) 4 Dismantling brick work or stone work in lime or cement mortar and including stacking of materials as directed by Engineer-In- Charge within a distance of 60 meters (200 feet). 5 Excavation of foundation in ordinary soil (loam clay or sand) including lift upto 1.50 meter and lead upto 30 meter and including filling, watering and ramming of excavated earth into the trenches or into the space between the building and sides of foundation trenches or into the plinth and removal and disposal of sur-plus earth as directed by the Engineer incharge up to a distance of 30 meters from the foundation trenches. 6 Disposal of surplus earth and dismantled brick/cc/rcc at a distance 10km from site including loading unloading complete in all respect. 7 Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density.Grading-I Material 8 Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded Material, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed Material to work site, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401 Grading-I Material 9 Providing and applying primer coat with SS1 grade bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70to 1.00 kg/sqm using mechanical means. 10 Dense Graded Bituminous Macadam Grading 2 Providing and laying Dense Graded Bituminous Macadam 50 mm thickness using crushed stone aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site by tippers, laying with paver finisher equiped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers as per specifications to achieve the desired compaction and density, complete as per specificatons and directions of Engineer-in- Charge. 50 to 100 mm average compacted thickness with bitumen of grade VG-30 @ 4.50% (percentage by weight of total mix) and lime filler @ 2% (percentage by weight of Aggregate) prepared in Batch Type Hot Mix Plant of 100-120 TPH capacity. 11 Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous surface cleaned with mechanical broom. 12 Providing and laying bituminous concrete (Grade II) with100-120 TPH hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonne per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder VG-30 @ 5.4per centof mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specification 5th revision clause No. 507 complete in all respects including cost of all materials, T&P, Labour, cartage for proper completion of work as per direction of Enginee-in-charges. 13 Providing and erecting 2.00 metre high temporary barricading at site; each panel of size 2.50mx2.00m made of 40x40x6mm angle iron or 50x50x3mm hollow MS tube posts/horizontal members/bracings covered with 1.63mm thick MS sheet. The sheet shall be fixed with 30x5mm MS flat by suitable welding/riveting. The panels shall be made so that gap of 50cm above the ground is available making overall height as 2.5m. MS channel ISLC 75 @ 5.70 kg/m, 50cm long shall be provided at the bottom having oval shaped holes of size 50x25mm at both ends with 50cm long MS angle 40x40x6mm bracing. Suitable arrangement shall be made to fix the barricading to avoid from overturning by providing 250mm long expansion fasteners at both ends. The work shall be executed as per drawing/ direction of Engineer-in-Charge which includes writing and painting, arrangement for traffic diversion such as traffic signals during construction at site for day and night, glow lamps, reflective signs, marking, flags, caution tape as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 14 Providing and laying in position ready mixed or site batched design mix cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work; using coarse aggregate and fine aggregate derived from natural sources, Portland Pozzolana / Ordinary Portland /Portland Slag cement, admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate / retard setting of concrete, to improve durability and workability without impairing strength; including pumping of concrete to site of laying, curing, carriage for all leads; but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement as per direction of the engineer-in-charge; for the following grades of concrete. Note: Extra cement up to 10% of the minimum specified cement content in design mix shall be payable separately. In case the cement content in design mix is more than 1.10 times of the specified minimum cement content, the contractor shall have discretion to either re-design the mix or bear the cost of extra cement. The process shall include the following:- * The concrete shall be placed and screeded to the finished grade, and floated to a uniform surface by using standard finishing techniques. The approved color hardener @ 2.7 kg/sqm shall be applied evenly to the surface of the fresh concrete by the dry shake method by sprinkling in two or more shakes, floated after each shake and trowelled only after the final floating. The approved release agent @ 0.113 kg/sqm shall be applied evenly to the trowelled surface before stamping or the said release agent can be applied to the flexible polyurethane stamp moulds of approved design and in required sizes to achieve final stamped pattern.
