Providing, Fitting, Testing And Commissioning Of 400Kva Voltage Stabilizer Along With Allied Works At Lis Pandorian.- 1 Providing, fitting, testing and commissioning of 400KVA voltage stabilizer along with allied works at LIS Pandorian. 2 Providing, Fitting, Testing and Commissioning of 400 KVA, 03 phase step up manually operated copper wound oil cooled voltage stabilizer conforming to relevant IS Code suitable for operation on unbalanced input voltage range and balanced output voltage as mentioned below for 03 phase A.C supply. The stabilizer shall be copper wound and the complete unit should be in steel case enamel painted and fitted with steel wheel rollers for easy portabilityThe other detailed specifications are as under: -Capacity: 400 KVAInput Voltage: 120 – 380 VoltsOutput Voltage :415 + 5%Frequency:50+3%Hz1. Core: The core should be of first quality of CRGO Silicon steel.2. Transformer oil: The transformer oil to be used has to be ISI Marked conforming to IS 335 with latest amendments..3. Copper conductor: The conductor should be 99.95% electrolytic copper.4. Container Gauge: The quantity of transformer oil used and the size of container should be mentioned and sheet used for manufacture of voltage stabilizer should be 14 to 16 SWG and gauge of the sheet used for fabrication of panel should be 16/18 SWG.5. Instruments: The voltage stabilizer shall be fitted with MCCB, Voltmeters (for both input and output voltage), Ampere meter, selector switches, indicator lamps, high voltage cut off relay, earth fault relay, single phase voltage preventor cut off alarm. The MCCB/fuses should be of E.E/GE/L&T/Siemens/BCH/SE or equivalent ISI make. The relays shall be Minilac/E.E./ECE. or equivalent ISI make. Similarly, voltmeter, ammeter, selector switches and indicator lamps shall be or equivalent ISI make .6. Bypass Switch:The equipment shall be provided with bye pass switch of suitable capacity of L&T / Havells / GE or equivalent ISI make.7. Rotary Switch: The Rotary Switches provided to adjust the output voltage of all the 03 phases should be of suitable rating and reputed ISI make and of heavy duty to withstand all the tests and working load. The rotary switch should have 8 steps with 02 steps down, 05 steps up and step No. 3 for line voltage.8. Terminal block: Terminal block for input and output connections should be of a reputed ISI make and meant for heavy duty.9. Characteristic Features: The three phase Manually operated copper wound oil cooled voltage stabilizers shall have the following characteristic features:-i. Continuous duty performance at ambient temperature 10 deg C to 55 deg C.ii. Stable and effective under system power factor and frequency fluctuation as well as overload upto 15% and under load upto 50% of the connected load.iii. Low internal impedance.iv. Negligible wave form distortion during starting under operation and stopping conditions.v. Accommodate the effect of higher starting current and should be able torecover from the shock.vi. No over shooting or hunting.vii. Negligible phase shift ensuring no change in system power factor.viii. The capacity of oil tank should be indicated.ix. The stabilizer shall have:a) Suitable breather.b) Leak proof de-sledging and drain cock for transformer oil.c) Lifting hooks provided at suitable positions for handling of the equipment.d) Oil gauge for monitoring level of transformer oil. x. The equipment shall be designed and manufactured ensuring the safety requirements as envisaged in IS: 8447 and IS: 302 both with latest amendments.xi. The stabilizer should be provided with suitable arrangement to avoid any seepage of water into the voltage stabilizer during storage / handling.10. Installation & Commissioning: The firm shall get the stabilizer installed inside the pump Room at a suitable place by engaging technically skilled persons. Testing first on idle load and then on full load under the supervision of firms technically skilled persons and commissioning.11.Marking : Stabilizer shall be marked with manufacturer’s name and trade mark on the plate fitted on the stabilizer indicating rating in KVA, range of input and output voltage, rated output current, frequency, number of phase, type of load viz. unbalanced input and balanced load, quantity of transformer oil and also the reference to the IS: standard.Providing/fitting of approx. 25 metre 3.5 core 400sq mm aluminium cable from the electric pole to the input of the voltage stabilizer with proper thimbling of the cable ends. The job includes cost of material, labour charges i.e. engagement of skilled and semi-skilled labour , hire charges of crane, tools and tackles and testing, commissioning and installation charges at site. Complete job.Fabrication of new open fuse assembly by means of fabrication of frame for housing new open fuse assembly using MS angle of 45 x 45 x 5 mm. Fabrication and welding MS angle for making the frame and then applying one coat of primer for anti-rust and two coats of black paint and then fixing the frame in the earth by means of earth excavation and then filling the earth with cement concrete mix in 1:3:6 ratio. Job also includes providing and installation of new open fuse assembly by means of fixing of L-shaped aluminum bars in frames using ceramic insulators for installation of aluminum wire fuse on the input side of the electrical supply on open fuse assembly and then connecting the cable to the one end of the open fuse assembly by way of providing and fixing of aluminum thimbles using crimping tool and then making connections using nuts and bolts of appropriate size. Complete job.
