| 1 | PART-A: HORTICULTURE MAINTENANCE WORKS: Maintenance of grassy lawns, landscapes in residential & public Buildings, flower beds, hedges & plants including removing of fallen/ dry leaves and disposal of the same to the designated place, uprooting of weeds/ rank vegetation, watering, mowering, rolling, top dressing, maintenance of flowerbeds (seasonal /annual etc.) Trimming/ cutting ofhedges /flower plants /decorative foliage wherever required, uprootingthe old & replanting the new seasonal plants etc. and application of FYM, good earth, seasonal plants, new saplings / plants, pesticides, fertilizers complete as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge.FYM, good earth, pesticides, fertilizers etc. shall be supplied bythe contractor, and shall be paid in relevant item of Part-B.However, preparation of new flower beds and arrangement of diesel lawnmowers, shall be in the scope of contractor.The item also includes the cleaning of dry leaves from the lawns, mentioned below : |
| 2 | TOWNSHIP AREA:Note:- After assessment of quantum of job, it is estimated that minimum 11(Eleven) persons per day will be required in Township area to maintain the lawns against Item No.1 and for payment purposes one operation per month will be paid. Minimum Malis to be deployed in Township Area: i) Avanti, Kalindi=3; ii) Satkar= 1; iii) Green Park and G.T. Road Main Gate enterance=1; iv) Shopping Centre, Hospital,MK=1; v) Football Ground, Civil Office and small park near B-361= 1;vi) A Type, B Type three nos Park=1; vii) C-Type Parks (Near C-15,C-17, C-93 and C-65, Four nos Parks=1; viii) Near D-01, D-11 and Club Parks=1; ix) Prade Ground=1. (Total for Township:11) |
| 3 | FACTORY AREA:Note:- After assessment of quantum of job, it is estimated that minimum 3(Three) persons per day will be required in Factory area to maintain thelawns against Item No. 1 and for payment purposes one operation permonth will be paid.Minimum Malis to be deployed in Factory Area:Admn. Building, CGM Office Park=1;Tech. Building Parks= 1;Park in front of Fire Station, Bentonite Plant, Canteen=1.(Total for Factory area: 3) |
| 4 | Maintnenace & Development of Nursary including watering, hoeing, weeding, application of manure, fertilizers Pruning / cutting, preparation & raising of flower beds, sowing of seeds, filling of polythene bags with mixture of good earth and Farm Yard Manure (FYM) in the required ratio, Maintenance of flower pot / plants / indoor plants removing of dead leafs /branches, spraying pesticides etc. shifting of pots here and there from nursery including Kalindi, Avanti, and Stadium Ground during National Festivals and other funcions. (Seed, fertilizers, pesticides etc. shall be supplied by NFL free of cost.) |
| 5 | Note:After assessment of quantum of job, it is estimated that minimum 2(Two) persons per day will be required in Township area to maintain the Nursery against Item No. 2 and for payment purposes one operation per month will be paid. |
| 6 | Maintenance of tree / Plants / Shrubs / Creepers, road side avenues plants, pot plants etc.by watering, hoeing, beeding, earthing up, supporting and pruning, refilling of pots, replacement old dead / dry plants, mixing of manure / fertilizers, pesticides / spraying of insecticides, trimming to shape etc. as and when required as per site requirement to keep the plant healthy.(Seed, fertilizers, pesticides etc. shall be supplied by NFL free of cost) |
| 7 | Note: After assessment of quantum of job, it is estimated that minimum 1(One) persons per day will be required in Township area to maintain the on Main Road from G T Road to Gate No.2 against Item No. 3 and for payment purposes one operation per month will be paid. Remarks : For Item No. 1,2&3(1) Extra persons may required to be deployed for upkeep of these lawns, Nursery and Main Road which contractor shall deploy as and when required at no extra cost.Frequency of maintenance shall be as per requirements of and to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.(2) In case of deploy of less malies, the payment shall be reduced from the particular period of bill on pro rata basis.It is also highlighted that for all lawns, Nursery and main Road under item No.1,2&3 all tools & plants alongwith sufficient nos. of Lawn Mowers/Bush Cutters, ShurubMaster and PVC 20mm Pipes for watering shall be arranged by the contractor and nothing extra shall be paid to the party. Contractor should keep above facts in mind while quoting the rate for item No.1,2&3 |
| 8 | Digging Holes in ordinary soil and refilling the same with the excavated earth mixed with mannure in the required ratio, flooding with water, dressing including removal of rubbish and surplus earth if any all leads and lifts.(Cost of Mannure or extra good earth if needed shall be paid seperatly) Holes upto60 cm dia, 60 cm deep |
