Tender For Comprehensive Maint,Repair & Replacement Of Fire Fighting System Installed At Different Sectors Under Age(I) Cg Noida; 1 Comprehensive Maintenance, Testing, Servicing and Repair including preventive and periodical maintenance with renewals and replacement of defective parts of the existing fire protection and firefighting system. The scope covers the main fire control panels consisting of 1 × 7.5 HP motor, 2 × 105 HP motors, and 1 × 78.5 kW engine pump. Work shall be carried out through necessary decarbonising, cleaning, tightening, and 100% servicing of all loose contacts, sub-panels, smoke/heat detectors, response indicators, electric driven pump (105 HP), diesel driven pump (78.5 kW), jockey pump, pressure switches, pressure vessels, fire hydrants, hose reels, canvas hose pipes, gunmetal valves, shut-off nozzles, sprinklers, control panels, and starters.The contractor shall ensure that the entire firefighting and fire alarm system remains in auto-run mode based on pressure variation, ensuring 100% serviceability at all times. This includes Checking and cleaning of fire detectors by removing dust and dirt, Cleaning of greasy deposits, if any, Checking the battery connections and specific gravity of electrolyte, Verifying alarm functions, control panels, and indicating equipment through the operation of trigger devices in each zone.The above services shall be carried out once every month during the first or last week, at the Coast Guard premises, Sector-62, Noida, as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 2 Comprehensive maintenance, testing, servicing and repair including preventive and periodical maintenance with renewals and replacement of defective parts of the existing fire protection and firefighting system, consisting of main fire control panels of 12.5 HP motor, 75 HP motor and 62 kW engine pump, by necessary decarbonising, cleaning, tightening and 100% servicing of all loose contacts, sub-panels, smoke/heat detectors, response indicators, electric driven pump (55 kW), diesel driven pump (62 kW), jockey pump, pressure switches, pressure vessels, fire hydrants, hose reels, canvas hose pipes, gunmetal valves, shut-off nozzles, sprinklers, control panels and starters, to ensure the firefighting and fire alarm system remain in auto-run mode on pressure variation, thereby achieving 100% serviceability. The scope includes checking and cleaning of fire detectors by removing dust or dirt, cleaning of heavy greasy deposits if any, checking the connection of batteries and specific gravity of electrolyte, and verifying the alarm function, control panel and indicating equipment through the operation of trigger devices in each zone, as described. The above services shall be carried out once every month during the first or last week for the system installed at Kamath Enclave Officers Married Accommodation (G+13 Storey Building), Coast Guard Sector-52, Noida, as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 3 Comprehensive maintenance, testing, servicing and repair including preventive and periodical maintenance with renewals and replacement of defective parts of the existing fire protection and firefighting system shall be carried out once every month (during the 1st or last week) to ensure 100% serviceability of the complete installation. The scope includes checking of terrace pumps with control panel starters, fire hydrant valves, hose reels, gate valves, and other associated equipment; cleaning of the firefighting system by removing dust, dirt and heavy greasy deposits, if any; and checking/cleaning of indicating equipment and meters by operating trigger devices on each floor. The system, installed at Sailors Married Accommodation, Building P-23 (G+7 Storey), Coast Guard Sector-23, Noida, shall be maintained in full serviceable condition as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 4 All as per Item 4.00 above but for Bldg P-24 (G+6 floors), Sec-23 Noida. 5 For items 1.00 to 4.00 above(a) The cost of new components shall be paid separately under the relevant item of Schedule ‘A’.(b) The contractor’s representative shall visit at least once every month to each control panel and obtain a serviceability certificate duly signed by the user and MES representative. Any additional visits, as and when required, shall not be paid extra.(c) The cost of minor spares (of any type) not exceeding ₹500 per month in total shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.(d) Payment will be processed only on submission of the serviceability certificate. A panel recovery at double the quoted rate will be charged for non-compliance with the monthly serviceability check.(e) The quoted rates shall be inclusive of Tools & Plants (T&P) required for carrying out repairs and stationery for maintaining records such as daily, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly maintenance schedules, as well as complaints registers, as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.(f) Normally, maintenance shall be carried out during daytime. However, in case of emergency or breakdown, the contractor shall attend the system at odd hours/night time. Any additional manpower required shall be arranged by the contractor without extra cost. 6 (g) The contractor shall provide the services of trained personnel as follows:Mechanic/Operator: ITI-qualified, with at least 3 years’ experience in the trade.Helper: Minimum qualification 12th pass.Supervisor: Diploma certificate holder with at least 3 years’ experience in the trade.(h) The contractor shall carry out daily routine checking of the complete system and immediately rectify any minor or major defects noticed. A separate complaint register shall be maintained, recording complaints from the department/users, and user signatures shall be obtained after rectification. If complaints are not attended within 24 hours, the following penalty shall apply:₹500 per complaint per day for pending complaints beyond 24 hours.The quoted rates shall be deemed to include daily routine checking, rectification of defects, and cleaning of the installation (inside and outside) with cleaning materials.(i) All consumables and maintenance materials such as oil, lubricants, grease, thimbles, etc., shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. 7 (j) The contractor shall use only genuine/original new parts as approved by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Old unserviceable materials shall be kept at site for verification, and a proper register shall be maintained, as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.(k) In case motor rewinding is required, the cost of disconnection, transportation, and reassembling shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.
