| 23 | M & L preparation of roof treatment of APP polymeric water proofing membrane all as given below :-(a) Taking down existing water proofing treatment/plaster/brick tiles and cleaning roof surface by washing and rubbing etc and removing retrieved material to a distance n.exc 500m where directed.(b) M & L for plastering 10mm thick in CM 1 : 3 using 100% coarse sand on roof surface including water proofing compound as per manufacturers instructions and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.(c) Applying a coat of bituminous primer conforming to IS : 3384 - 1986 @ 0.30 Kg/Sqm and allow to dry.(d)M & L for laying 3mm thick APP modified polymeric water proofing membrane having weight 3.2 - 3.5 Kg/Sqm on prepared surface as per manufacturers instructions and over laps 10 cm and 15 cm longitudinal and traverse directions respectively and sealed by flame, sealing all overlaps complete including treatment at all junctions and corners.The membrane shall be torched into groove (if groove made) on verticle plane and grove sealed with cement mortar 1:3.complete all as specified and directed(e) Applying two coats aluminium paint 0.2 Kg/sqm all as per specification and directed by Engr-in-Charge. |

| 25 | M&L for chipping of spalled and loose conerete and cleaning rust from re-inforcement by sand brushing scrubing down concrete surfaces with wire brushes cleaning with water allowed to dry applying a layer of zinc rich epoxy primer as antirust on all exposed surfaces of concrete and provide guniting in two layers over steel welded mesh 2mm dia of wire and total aperture 75mm, thickness of gunite n. exc 25mm thick (average thickness) using cement mortar 1:3 with OPC 43 grade cement mixed with polycreete admixture @2% by weight of cement or as per manufactures instructions and finally applying cement palster over gunite surfaces of required thickness to give an even uniform and smooth finish conforming to proper gerometrics in cement mortar 1:4 to match with the existing surface as in side soffits of slabs, chajjas, facias, parapets, columns and beams etc complete including necessary scaffolding, shuttering necessary chased to brick work or RCC members at any height upto four storey buildings incl revmoving of small trees shrubs etc all as specified (Note: steel welded mesh to be welded with the existing reinforcement).
