Depth 6 Ordinary/ soft rock exceeding 1.50 mtr. depth but not exceeding 3.0 mtr. depth 7 Earthwork in open Excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means over areas (exceeding 30 specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 8 All kinds of soil - Upto 1.5 mtr depth from AGL 9 Excavating trenches of required width by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ manual means for pipes, cables etc., for depth upto 1.5m in all kinds of soil including excavation for sockets, dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms, getting out the excavated soil and then refilling the soil as required in layers not exceeding 200mm in depth,consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering etc., and disposing of surplus excavated soil as directed within a lead of 50m, (Disposed soil to be levelled by breaking clods, if any and neatly dressed) etc., all complete as per specification. 10 Earthwork excavation for trial pits of required size in hard gravelly soil and other types of soil upto 1.50 mtr. depth without damaging the existing underground service lines including shoring, strutting, bailing of water, protection of existing underground utilities such as water line, service cables, etc., refilling the sides of trial pit as required with selected excavated earth and depositing / disposing the surplus earth (Disposed soil to be levelled by breaking clods, if any and neatly dressed) with a lead of 50 metres and finishing the surface to proper level etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer- in-Charge. 11 Filling available selected excavatedearth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundation etc., in layer not exceeding 200 mm in depth including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead upto 2.0 Km and lift upto 1.5m etc., all complete as per specification. 12 Providing gravel base of approved thickness for flooring, kerbwall, etc., including supplying gravel, spreading gravel in uniform layers, watering, ramming, consolidating, dressing the top surface to the required level, etc., all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. 13 Clearing heavy jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth upto 30cm measured at a height of 1m above ground level, removal of rubbish upto a distance of 60m outside the periphery of the area cleared, cutting and stacking the useful fire wood if any within an initial lead of 100 mtrs etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. 14 Cutting and felling trees of the girth (measured at a height of 1m above ground level) including cutting of trunks,branches, removing the roots, stacking of serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable materials within a lead of 200m including filling the pits and depression with excavated earth,etc., all as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. 15 Beyond 300mm girth upto and including 600mm girth. 16 Beyond 600mm girth upto and including 1200mm girth. 17 Trimming of tree branches, which causing hindrance to free vehicle movement, blocking street light and touching the building etc., on road sides, avenues, streets and near buildings, including cutting the branches of trees using necessary tools, collecting, transporting and disposing them at places shown by the department using their own means of conveyance all as directed by the Engineer-in- charge. 18 Beyond 300mm upto and including 600mm Girth Trees 19 Beyond 600mm upto and including 1200mm Girth Trees 20 Providing Pre-Construction Anti-termite Treatment using Chlorpyriphos E.C 20% with 1 % concentration or other approved chemical as detailed below including cost of chemicals, labour and all other incidental charges for entire ground floor area of building and injecting termicide emulsion to the soil in contact with the foundation along the perimeter of both internal and external walls, etc., all as per IS: 6313 (Part-2). 1) Top surface of consolidated earth within plinth walls shall be treated with chemical emulsion @ 5 Ltr/Sq.m of the surface before the sand bed or sub-grade is laid. 2) Treatment along the external perimeter and internal perimeter at junction of the wall and the floor of the building shall be treated with chemical emulsion @ 7.5 Ltr/Sq.m, to facilitate this holes shall be provided @ 150mm apart upto GL for inner side and upto 300mm below GL for external perimeter. 3) The entire treatment shall be done as per the specifications and instructions of the termicide Manufacturer and as directed by the Department. 4) The treatment should be done by an agency specialized in the job having sufficient knowledge of anti termite treatment. 5) Five years guarantee from the date of completion of maintenance period shall be given by the contractor in the prescribed format of the department for the above anti-termite treatment work. 21 Providing and laying in position of plain cement concrete using hard granite broken stone in foundations, trenches etc. including mechanical mixing, ramming, compaction, leveling, curing, dewatering, if any including the cost of formwork etc., all complete as per specifications. 22 1 : 1.5 : 3 (1 cement : 1.5 sand : 3 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) 23 1 : 3 : 6 (1 cement : 3 sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size) 24 1 : 2 : 4 (1 cement : 2 sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 25mm nominal size) 25 Providing and laying 100mm thick Base course under the flooring with cement concrete 1 : 3 : 6 using 25mm size hard broken stone including consolidation, formwork, curing etc., complete as per specifications. 26 Filling in depression with cement brick aggregate concrete 1:2:4 using 20mm size broken brick aggregate including compacting, curing etc., all complete upto Floor V level 27 Providing, erecting, placing in position and removing Formwork for all insitu concrete works at all lifts and all shapes such as circular works, chamfers, splays, etc., using Steel / Plywood shuttering including centering, scaffolding, strutting, propping with necessary bracing in all areas, fixing of EPs, cutting holes and fixing pipe sleeves, applying of approved form oil over surface in contact with concrete, de-shuttering after specified curing period, etc., all complete as per drawings and specifications.[Note : Measurement for the formwork shall be the area of forms in contact with concrete surfaces. Stop boards for construction joints will not be measured separately for payment. ImportantNote: The required quantity of steel reinforcement as mentioned in the schedule should be procured by the contractor only of SAIL, Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (VIZAG), TATA Steel & JINDAL from authorised dealers which shall conform to IS: 1786 (Latest Edition). 35 Providing, hoisting and fixing in position of 50mm thickness of precast slabs in cement concrete 1:1.5:3 using hard broken stones of maximum size 20mm finished smooth of various sizes and patterns including necessary formwork and moulds, mechanical mixing, finishing the exposed surface, curing, fixing at all levels, grouting with CM / Cement grout wherever required, etc., all complete excluding cost of reinforcement which will be measured separately under relevant item as per specifications and as direction of the Engineer-in-charge. 36 Providing, hoisting and fixing in position 50mm thick Precast RCC jali at all lifts of approved pattern and size as per drawing with cement concrete 1 : 1.5:3 including required nominal reinforcement, curing, smooth finished surface with float coat of neat cement on all sides, fixing and jointing with CM 1:3, scaffolding etc., all complete as per drawing and specification. 37 Providing, hoisting and fixing in position of Exhaust fan Hoods as per drawings and specifications using cement concrete 1:1.5:3 using hard broken stones of maximum size 20mm finished smooth of various sizes and patterns, including necessary formwork and moulds, mechanical mixing, finishing the exposed surface, curing, fixing at all levels, grouting with CM / Cement grout wherever required, etc., all completeexcluding cost of reinforcement which will be measured separately under relevant item but including formwork complete. 38 Providing and fixing 5mm thick Polypropylene plastic lattice system of approved design, colour and size at all elevations including fixing withAnodized aluminium frame work or other approved frame work, sealing the joints with required sealants, etc., all as per drawing and specification and as directed by Engineer In Charge. (Note: Rate for frame work with Aluminium will be paid for separately under relevant item) 39 Providing and laying Random Rubble masonry in Cement mortar 1 : 6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand) in foundation and plinth using hard granite stones obtained from approved quarry includingbond stones of 2 Nos/Sq.m at 1.5 to 1.8 mtrs apart, raking out joints, curing, etc., all as per standard specification. 40 Providing and constructing brick masonry at all lifts in cement mortar 1:5 using well cured flyash bricks of class 5 (non-modular) made up of using Flyash + Sand + Lime + additives (Gypsum/Cement) with waterproofing chemicals and accelerators confirming to IS-12894 or latest edition including suitable scaffolding, raking out joints, continues curing for specified period, etc., all complete as per specifications and drawings. 41 Upto FFL 42 Above FFL 43 Providing and constructing 110mm thick brick workfor partition walls at al liftsin cement mortar 1:4 using well cured flyash bricks of class 5 (non-modular) made up of using Flyash + Sand + Lime + additives (Gypsum/Cement) with waterproofing chemicals and accelerators confirming to IS-12894 or latest edition includingsupplying and providing 2 Nos. of 6/8mm MS rod at every third layer, suitable scaffolding, raking out joints, continues curing for specified period, etc., all complete as per specifications and drawings. 44 Supplying and fixing 20mm (±2mm) thick both side polished Kota Stone slabs for Shelves in Cupboard/Wardrobe/Shoe rack, etc., including fixing by cutting a chase of appropriate width with cutter and embedding the stone into the chase with epoxy grout or with cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 6 mm nominal size) finished smooth, front face polishing, rounding the edges, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.(Note : Kota stones shall be got approved by the Engineer before making bulk order.) 45 Supplying, fabricating and fixing Steel Grills of required pattern and size for Windows/Ventilators, Staircase Hand Rails, etc., fixed to openings/wooden frames at site, comprising of MS square bars / MS rounds / MS flats, etc., including fixing with necessary wood screws for fixing grills / by welding in steel windows, painting with two coats of anti corrosive paint of approved colour and make over a coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer/ zinc phosphate primer, etc., all completed as per specification.[Note: The rate shall be inclusive of lifting arrangements if any required to hoist and concrete embedments for fixing the steel works.] 46 Supplying, fabricating and fixing Steel work welded in built up sections and framed work at all lifts comprising Chequered plates, MS angles, other structural steel sections, etc., of TATA or SAIL or approved equivalent make including cutting, welding, bending to shape, painting exposed faces with two coats of anti-corrosive paint of approved colour over a coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer / zinc phosphate primer, embedding with Cement concrete, if necessary, etc., all complete as per specifications and drawings.[Note: The rate shall be inclusive of lifting arrangements if any required to hoist and concrete embedments for fixing the steel works. ] 47 In gratings, frames, guard bar, ladders, railings, brackets, gates and similar works 48 Supplying, fabricating and fixing of EPs, Structural Steel work and pipe sleeves etc., at all lifts comprising MS angles, MS plates, tees flats, rounds, squares, other structural steel sections, pipe sleeves and pipes of various sizes, IS channels, IS beams, square rods, etc., of TATA or SAIL or approved equivalent make including cutting, welding, bending to shape, painting exposed faces with two coats of anti-corrosive paint of approved colour over a coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer / zinc phosphate primer, embedding with Cement concrete, etc. complete all as per specifications and drawings.Note: The rate shall be inclusive of lifting arrangements if any required to hoist and concrete embedments for fixing the steel works. 49 Providing and fixing of Fly proof Stainless Steel (Grade 304) wire gauze of 0.4mm dia wire and 1.4mm aperture on both sides of approved quality and make over Partly panelled Door / Grill door including fixing with second class Teak wood beading or Aluminium frame work, cost of screws, nails, rawl plug, etc., all complete as per specification. Provision for providing fixed glass of 300mm height at top over the door shutter shall be made as per drawing.Door Shutter :- Pressed Steel fully Flush double skin door shutter of thickness 40mm (+5mm) fabricated 0.8mm thick Galvanized steel sheet with Zinc coating not less than 120gm/Sqm with approved colour finish. Only weight of stainless steel members shall be considered excluding fixing accessories such as nuts, bolts, fasteners etc., for payment purpose. 61 Providing and fixing swimming pool starting block of size 500 mm × 500 mm x 400mm of approved make conforming to FINA standards made up of heavy quality stainless steel grade 304 base using hollow tubes, channels, plates, etc., of required size with FRP top in blue colour or other approved colour including butt / mitre welding,grinding, buffing, polishing, making curvature (wherever required),fixing the starting block using suitable anchoring arrangement, finishing, etc., all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 62 Supplying and fixing of factory made Solid PVC foam door frame of approvedmakewith suitable rebate for shutters (Profile FP-6030) including the joints shall be mitered & Jointed with self driven self tapping screws of size 38 mm x 4 mm and made by SP 5 epoxy seal and fevikwik / solvent, fixing the frame to wall with suitable dia & length anchor fastener, etc., all complete as per manufacturer specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 63 Supplying and fixing in position single leaf Factory made flush door shutterof 25 mm thick PVC integral foam sheet of make M/s. Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd. (Ex-cel sheet) or other equivalent approved make of white colour for flush door shutter including providing recessions for hinges, fixing with following fittings over the granite/PVC door frame using required fasteners, finishing all edges with mixture of PVC powder & solvent for smooth finish, etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge. 64 The door shutter shall be fixed with the following hardware fittings: -a)4 Nos. of 75 mm long stainless steel butt hinges ofGARGbrand bearing ISI mark with suitable stainless steel screws.b) Two numbers of 125mm long anodized aluminium Dhandle of make Classic/Crown or approved equivalent as per IS - 208 bearing ISI mark with suitable CP screws.c) Two numbers of 75mm long anodized aluminium baby latch type/SS cranked type tower bolt with suitable CP screws.d) One number of 50mm long solid PVC door buffer with 75mm long CP screws. Note: - 1) All furniture fittings shall be of approved quality and make. 2) The rate quoted shall be inclusive of fixing of door shutters with required hardware fittings as detailed above. 3)The PVC Integral Foam shall be factory manufactured solid section of light weight sheet with fine & homogeneous closed cell structure with smooth, glossy, hard surface finish on both sides.
